It was so much fun to do those get experience in DM missions in Desert DM XP/BP on RU1. All that is gone now....
-
Keep doing the mission chains on this account, and work on a new account also. Try to buy only 1 hull and 1 turret for each modification.
-
It is a good kit, but why pay for viking m2 when you have hunter m2. You only need 1 medium hull at each modification, so I would not advise you not to get it. Just rank up and get the turret(s) you like. Or you could titan smoky kit, it is good too.
-
I don't think you should spend more on rail, because even if you get it m4 + high calibre ammo, people have near 40% protection against it in high ranks, so sinking crystals in it won't help you that much. Just keep saving crystals, you could either go for paladin or raiden kit, or just buy the m3s at marshal.
-
Slaughter druggers then, and let non-druggers destroy you, just don't shoot at them, if you are that philanthropic. It just takes 30 minutes to get 2 missions done, and you're making too big a deal of those 30 minutes. Just get them done quickly and then go to non-pro.
-
That is EXACTLY the point I'm trying to make. They may kill a lot, but they are NOT matchwinners.
-
If a striker or magnum is able to come often to your spawn points, then you have a noob team. Shafts can have 20 K/D in a game, and still end up on the losing side. Magnum can do well in TDMs, but I haven't seen them do that well in CP/CTF games. Yes, you need to kill it before you take the flag, but isn't that true for any defender? Freeze or fire or shaft or rail or thunder?
-
It is not very difficult to find the magnums and kill them. You can always put on DA just as you spawn, and then striker won't get you. Both are helpless when you get close to them. The big problem lies in isida chains. They are constantly busy healing each other, and can easily dominate any battle. I think firebird, freeze and isida should have equal damage. Maybe isida 10% higher, but not more than that.
-
Now everyone will buy isida in June sale, and battle fund will be close to 1k for a 15 minutes game, because tanks won't die too often. So they are trying to cut income for most of us players.. Clever.

But I DO have fun while completing missions because I use those supplies. Before the mission update came, I did all my missions in pro battles, and saved a lot of supplies, which come handy now. I have rail m2.8 + high calibre ammo. As a rule, I do not drug unless I see someone on enemy team drug, but when they do, then I just put on Double Damage, and start spawn killing the whole team, all medium hulls are 1 shot then. Trust me, one shotting them druggers and buyers is a lot of fun. It gives them no time to use repair kit, and the thing about gameplay with rail is, the flash of light just seems to come from nowhere, and boom, you're dead! The fun is limited, though, because supplies run out if you use them too much, but if you remain on the 4th week of the chain, you can get enough for the whole week, even if you just break even. From time to time, there will be the odd buyer who will ruin a game, but then there are good games to be enjoyed also in pro battles. If you think non-buyers can't get m3s in time, let me tell you this, I can get Paladin kit tomorrow if it comes in garage, so I will have m3s at Lt. General, and a protection module (finally!). There is still a bit of fun if you play with friends in non-pro battles. Battle choice is a bit limited. There is mainly Noise CTF, Poly CP in no supplies mode. The odd Rio CTF no supplies can be a lot of fun. There's still a bit left in this game, though only in pro battles and mission chains.
-
The problem is when low rankers join the winning team, then winning team begins losing. So it is best to look for battles with similar ranks as yours.
-
We can still do the get experence and get boxes missions and keep the chain alive. You have mammoth vulcan, just play polygon cp no supplies, they are on every server. Then you can save and buy m3 kit, just be patient. The updates have irked me too, I've reduced my playing time. I only play non-pro for missions. Usually in half an hour, we can do 2 out of 3. Then I play no supplies battles. You can get twins in june sale, and mammoth twins is a killer combo in polygon, you will make 2000 crystals every hour there. Non-buyers can also do well in this game, if they have right strategy, and remain patient.

The biggest problem with tanki devs is that they never accept their mistake. So many players complain, and what do they say? "Here, take a 25% sale on supplies/paints/turrets/hulls for 1 day and play happily ever after" or double funds in drug wars. or some silly contests I just played cross cp and there were 4 isidas out of 6 in opposite team, and we couldnt do any damage. My teammates kept leaving. 2 attack you, and then they heal each other and move on to next spawn. Where is the fun if everybody gets isida? The battle fund remains so low.
-
Stay bro, you want to try out xp/bp. I gave it my first shot at your rank, and since then, I've played exclusively that. You can try out no supplies battles too, they are sometimes fun to play too. Nevermind if we cant do the odd missions in a week, but they havent changed the no supplies battles.
-
Yes, this is a good point. Many times I find myself healing m1 players when we are playing against m3+. They die very soon, and I end up wasting my charge on them. But if you have a good heavy hull in your team, and you stick with it, like titan + twins/vulcan/thunder/smoky, then it is like unbeatable team. But still, 1000 damage per second is too much at m4. Viking m4 is 3000 health, and 3 seconds is too fast. 1.5 seconds if it has Double Damage on, since most players dont have isida protection.
-
I think they increased splash radius so that isida chains are easier to kill. Thunder m3 would still be quite low on my priority list, because many product kits give thunder protection modules. Raiden kit is so popular in battles, and I see everyone running around with rail, thunder, twins protection module that comes with it. And I dont have the supplies to counter the protection that other players have against thunder. But m0 to m2 thunder are really good.
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I dont want people in my team playing through mobile, because they won't play as good as they can on PC. Its bad enough with people lagging on your team, and in a close match, this will hurt even more.
-
If Major General presses battle button, then it creates a battle where both the Generallisimo and Captain can play. Atleast in non DM modes. I just saw Highways CTF where both captains and Gnerallisimos can play together. It is on EN2 now.
-
They have made it very clear they do not care about non-buyers. We can still play pro battles though after doing missions, to save on supplies.
-
Magnum was, but it was no supplies, and both us isidas were vikings, so magnum cant get us in one shot, and we kept healing each other. With equal MUs and no supplies or protection, isida is definitely more powerful than fire, especially if there are 2 or more in a team. In drug matches, it really depends on who drugs more, or had more protection..
-
Actually there was a magnum and a striker and atleast 2 thunders on opposite team, so enough splash damage weapons, but nothing can kill titan in one shot. And remember we were 2 isidas healing him. The isidas in your team may have been weaker or lacked good modules. Firebirds must have more MUs and good protections. Otherwise isida kills pretty fast now.
-
Thunder m2, without doubt. Its better than striker because you hit the enemy instantly. Striker has better stats (reload), but the slow speed of projectiles is its biggest weakness. It gives the enemy time to dodge the missile. Thunder better than hammer because of better range. With hammer you need to go close to your enemy to hit them, which is not always possible, since them may drop a mine.
-
Isida rules polygon now. We had 2 isidas in tunnel (I was one), and a titan fire in front of us. He absorbed the damage and kept us safe, while we healed him. 100 points in 20 minutes, opposite team didnt have a chance.
-
This worked for me. Really. (Only the clicking part)
-
I think they want wider rank brackets so that low ranks buy crystals from shop to full MU their equipment and buy modules to compete against high rankers. They want to provide more and more incentives to buy, and want to make the game less fun for those who don't buy.
