[Story] Anima (Story Reveal + Prologue)

The Eight Races: Human Elf Warlock Goblin Troll Fairy Dwarf Anima Glossary: ForeniaThe planet in which the eight races live. HumansThe species that are currently the leaders of Forenia. Miraculously, they won the war and were able to end the war. Although they cannot emit magical power, they are masters at creating weapons and tools that use magical power. Humans live all throughout Forenia. ElfThis species competed in the war, but lost. About half the leaders wanted to end the war, but the other half didn’t. This led to a split in the race - the Dark Elves and the Elves. They can use magic power emitted from their bodies. The Elves are close allies with Humans, but the same cannot be said for the Dark Elves. Elves live all throughout Forenia. WarlockThis dangerous species is a master at sorcery. Sorcery is generally more powerful than magic. This species did compete in the war, but lost. They now live in the country Aswarulden, although some live in other countries. GoblinsCrafty creatures that are hard to see. Greedy, yet intelligent, this species not only participated in the war, but also was able to have a small piece of land to themselves, not governed by Humans. However, some Goblins do live among the other races. Cannot emit magic from their bodies, but use weak magical weapons as they lack great physical strength. TrollCreatures that aren’t very intelligent, but have tons of strength. They lack the ability to both use magical weapons as well as use magic. Did not participate in war as they thought that it was pointless. FairyBeautiful creatures that can use magic as well as sorcery. They participated in the war, but lost. Some resent the humans but mostly, this species live among the humans and are allies with them. They have great magical power, but can also use magical weapons if needed. DwarfThese creatures lost the war and then went into hiding. Only the leaders meet with the other races once a year at the Summit. They can only do sorcery. AnimaLegendary creatures, rarely seen. Little is known about them except for the fact that they can use magical weapons, sorcery and magic. The only race that can fly naturally without the help of magical weapons. Did not participate in the war; only one Anima meets with the other races at the summit once a year. SummitA yearly meeting that all races are attended to meet peacefully. The leaders discuss anything from a natural disaster, to large problems occurring in the country. AltedemiaA computer world in which the First War occurred, and as well as any other wars will take place. After the war, Altedemia was open to public use for almost everything. From video games to the Summit, many races spent most of their lives here. Prologue In this world, the eight intelligent races compete for land, power, and resources. Each race has their own special power, except for humans. 42 years ago, there was a great 'First War' that lasted for a decade. Nobody thought that humans would’ve won, but they did, miraculously. And by doing so, they brought peace to the world, for a short time. Humans friended races, but some resolved to hate and distortion to compensate for their loss. These races waited in the dark for the right time to strike, to release the rage and to take what was lost. When the Anima disappeared, the others revealed themselves and informed the other races that the Dwarf and the Dark Elves had kidnapped him. This caused the Second War.

    Complaint Book

whenever i exit a battle, it always goes back to the Announcements tab, instead of what i last left it on. It gets frustrating because i want to see if there are any new messages in the clan tab, but it always defaults to the announcements tab. anyway to change this?
  4. I would highly recommend adding "Smoky" somewhere to your title. This will allow readers to better understand what they're reading on

    [Story] Immune (Chapter 16 - Chapter 20 + Author's Note)

Index Prologue + Chapter 1 Chapter 2 + Chapter 3 Chapter 4 + Chapter 5 Chatper 6 + Chapter 7 Chapter 8 + Chapter 9 + Chapter 10 Chapter 11 + 12 Chapter 13 Chapter 14 + Chapter 15 Chapter 16 An hour later I knocked on Hailey’s door and waited. I told her not to worry, and that we would all come out of this final battle safely. I also comforted her over the pain that she might see her parent’s grave once more, a terrible reminder of what happened on that dreadful day. Two days later, we prepared our horses and rode hard to Village Marie. We then found out that the population of the kingdom had not been drastically affected like the ones of the other kingdoms. The worst fates had wiped out entire villages in certain kingdoms. We were glad that no plague cases had been reported for almost 5 weeks now. The plague was over. We then headed to the inn, called the Prancing Pony. We rented a few rooms and headed to the market to buy some food. The next day we sought to find a rowboat that would meet our standards. Then in the cover of night, we scouted the cliff and found a suitable path that would be safe to climb. Then, we waited another day to get rested before the final fight would begin. The next day we packed everything we would need for the mission. The farmer brought his sword, and Hailey and I each brought our Yusvengal weapons, White Light and Dark Vortex. We hiked to bottom of the cliff, and where our row boat was. We then took the rowboat to the bottom of the palace and started to scale the wall. When we reached the top, a great surprise was waiting. Commander Sarinthious was waiting for us at the top of the cliff, with tens of men behind him, swords drawn. “Well, we finally meet again Jonathan”, Sarinthious said. “I finally have the chance to kill you. I know of the weapons you stole, as well as your knowledge of Yusvengal weapons. Because of this, I challenge you to a duel, just you and me, and our Yusvengal weapons. To make it fair, I’ll only use my Yusvengal sword. What do you say? To see who’s the better swordsman? To see who deserves the throne?” The farmer and Hailey looked at me with looks that said everything. We all knew the risk. It could be a trap. Or it might be a complete loss on my part, with the Commander being an experienced swordsman who trained specifically for fights like this. But if I didn’t accept, what would happen? There was no way we could take on Commander Sarinthious’ elite troops. Furthermore, we only had two Yusvengal weapons that could only attack so many people before we went down fighting. There was no way we could climb back down before we were killed by arrows. And if we did make it down, Commander Sarinthious would just wait for us to reach the beach before killing us there. No, the only way to put Hailey on the throne would be to end the fight here. But before I could say anything, the farmer said,”I accept”. Chapter 17 Before I could say anything, Commander Sarinthious pulled his sword out and jumped at the farmer. And to my horror, he shoved him off the cliff with a swift blow with his sword. At the time, I was frozen with fear. I stood there, unable to move, as time slowed around me. I watch the farmer lose his balance and slowly close his eyes as he fell off the cliff. Then the anger came. I screamed in rage and pulled Dark Vortex out. At the same time Commander Sarinthious pulled his Yusvengal sword and an epic duel took place. I didn’t even need to think, all I knew was that this man killed the farmer, and he was the one I could let my rage out on. Three years of rage building up. All released with a single intention: avenge the farmer. But it wasn’t an easy fight. Yusvengal user’s don’t die easily. The Yusvengal crystal not only powers the weapon itself, but the user’s strength, and their metabolism as well. I fought as though the world was ending. Blow after blow was dealt to both me and Commander Sarinthious, but then I realized that there was a pattern to his movements. I parried his blow then rolled behind him and shoved him to his knees. I raised my sword for the killing blow, but then Hailey shouted,”Wait!”. I froze, and realized that there was nothing between me and avenging the farmer’s death except Hailey. Hailey continued,”Even though he killed my parents, I still don’t want to kill him. He’s still a human and killing him won’t make us any better than him. “Just put him in the dungeons. It’ll be alright, please Jonathan?” I heaved, catching my breath, then slowly dropped my sword and said to Commander Sarinthious,”Well it’s over, I’m the better fighter, and you’ll be spending your life behind bars. Forever.” Commander Sarinthious replied,”I’ll never surrender”, and ran to the edge of the cliff and jumped. I had anticipated his move and ran after him and caught his leg, held him there. One hand holding his leg, and one hand holding the cliff. Hailey ran towards me trying to help me up. “Let go of me”, he shouted,”You’ve won, I’ve lost, but will die remember”. “No”, I replied,”You’re going to pay for Hailey’s parents, and everyone else you’ve killed. A lot of people are gonna want to see you, humiliated”. “Never!”, he shouted. And with a swift move he unsheathed his blade for the final time and cut my hand off with a swift blow. I screamed in agony and in my pain, let go of the cliff and started to fall. But just as I was about to fall forever, Hailey grabbed my hand. The soldiers behind her helped me up as well. This didn’t make any sense to me, but before I could ask, I went unconscious. Chapter 18 I woke up in a royal room. With a maid sitting besides me. My arm was bandaged, but the pain was gone. The maid said,”Hello sir, my name is Morgan, and I’ll be assisting you until you get better”. A lot has happened since you’ve been out. I’m going to get Queen Hailey, I’ll be right back”. Queen? Perhaps this was just a dream. I layed back down, wanting to go back to sleep, but then Hailey entered the room and said,”You’re up”, with a smile. “I’m sorry about the farmer, we never found his body." “But as for you, well, you’re now my second in command. Commander Sarinthious apparently had the entire royalty drugged using his Yusvengal helmet. But when he killed himself, the helmet’s power faded. You’re Dark Vortex is in the armory, I’ll have it brought to you when you feel better. But for now it’s safe”. I took this all very suddenly, but asked,”What about you, how did you become Queen?” “Well, you’ve been out for almost 3 days now. When Commander Sarinthious died, the soilders also woke up and realized that I was the true Queen. They brought me to the rest of the royalty and they all agreed that I was the true Queen. I’m just about to make a speech to the rest of the kingdom, how Commander Sarinthious is dead, and how you saved me. As for the farmer, remember when he asked to see me in private?” I nodded, speechless, and dreading what she would say. “Well, it turns out that he foresaw his future, and knew that he was going to be killed. But he was worried that if he told you, you would end up killing yourself trying to save him. So he told me to never tell you until he was dead, but he told me to give you this letter. I’ll let you read it in private since he was like a father to you.” I wiped a tear from my eye and nodded. I opened the letter and read. Chapter 19 Jonathan, ever since I found you in the village of Nardeen, I knew you were special. I took you in, and taught you how to farm, how to work, how to live. Your parents left you, I found you in an alley and decided to raise you. I never told you who you were as I never found out. Years of searching and yet I never found your true parents. I deeply apologize for this, because if you’re reading this, it means that I’ve passed away, and that I never found your true parents. However, please, take care of Hailey. Just as you’ve been through the pain of growing without knowing you’re parents, Hailey is feeling the same pain. Bear with her, and watch over her. Hopefully by the time you’re reading this, she is the true Queen. Make sure she is a good queen, a queen that always watches for her people, and a queen that puts her life between the dangers of this world, and the citizens of her kingdom. We’ve worked so hard on the Ghost, you and me, take care of it, and when the next disaster comes, use it wisely. Life is precious, as you know. You lived through one of the greatest plagues of mankind, and yet you survived even though so many were horribly killed. The only explanation for this is that you’re immune. You’re special. It’s the same with Hailey, the same with everyone who survived the plague. Except me. I knew I was dying every since we found Hailey. I must’ve caught the plague somewhere along the way, so I saw a doctor in secret, without you knowing. He said there was no way that I could be cured, and he recommended me to a seer. The seer said that I would die on the day that I died. There was no stopping it, but I could choose how I died. So I chose to die of free will. I’m sure however I died, I could’ve prevented it, but instead, I chose to let myself die. I’ll be watching you Jonathan, from the stars, forever. This is where we part. This is where my journey ends, and where yours begins. Will you let your actions define you? Who will you be Jonathan? The choice is yours. Goodbye. From, the farmer. Nathan Halist Chapter 20 And so, this is where the book ends. This is Jonathan, and with Hailey sitting besides me, helping me recall the events of the past years. I’m now 24, Hailey 20. She successfully united her Kingdom into a powerful. She married a powerful king, another hero’s story. As for me, I recovered from my wounds, but my swordsmanship was never the same, due to my hand. Although I didn’t lose my primary hand, nobody wanted to fight a man without a hand. As Hailey sits besides me, as I finish this recollection of the powerful events that changed both of us. I don’t know what I’ll do. One thing is for sure, I will leave, journey across the Sea of the Lost and make new adventures there. I hope to find the missing Yusvengal weapons and keep them safe, so that they don’t fall in the hands of another evil being. I will encase this story deep underground, with Hailey’s help. Perhaps, if someone finds this in the future, he will not only remember my deeds, but Hailey’s as well as the farmers as well as everyone else’s. The cost is high for a man’s deeds. You can’t take them back, but you can affect the consequences. Tomorrow, I will leave for the land across the Endless Sea. Where journeys await. Where answers await. Hailey will stay at Castle Ebro, watching her people, as a good queen should. Will I return? The answer weighs heavy. I want to see Hailey again, but I also want to complete and impossible task. But nevertheless, this story will be kept safe, I hope. To the reader who finds it, be safe, for knowledge is power. This is Jonathan, ending the story. Except that it’s not the end, but the beginning of a new era. Author’s Note Writing Immune was a wonderful period of time. It was a place where I could free my thoughts, a place where I could write a fictional world, where anything could happen. Characters like Jonathan (my real name is indeed Jonathan) were based off how I would like to be. How I want to change. While characters like Commander Sarinthious were based off the worldly ways. But in the end, my final note goes to you readers, the ones who never cease to click “Amateur’s Writers Section” to see if my next chapter has gone up. Files have been translated. Facts are 85 percent accurate. _________________________________________ I posted a bunch of chapters this time, just to make it more fun! Any questions? PM and I'll get back to you! Is this series done? Well, let's just say that a book is never done until you say its done.

    [Story] Immune (Chapter 14 + Chapter 15)

Hello, this is I_Am_Unkown, and here is Chapter 14 and 15 of my story, Immune. Index Prologue + Chapter 1 Chapter 2 + Chapter 3 Chapter 4 + Chapter 5 Chatper 6 + Chapter 7 Chapter 8 + Chapter 9 + Chapter 10 Chapter 11 + 12 Chapter 13 Chapter 14 “Sir, I believe that we are strong enough to retake Castle Ebro”, I addressed the farmer,”Hailey and I believe that we can sneak in the castle and eliminate Commander Sarinthious, what do you think? “True, you have greatly progressed in you training, but do you truly believe that you can kill him safely without any casualties? He is a dangerous man, commander of a mighty army, and he has two Yusvengal weapons.” “We have two weapons, just that they're spread out, and plus isn’t that an advantage?” “What about the army he has at command, as well as the Garrison that defends that castle?” “Well that's the thing, I have, however, made a plan that we think will be able to successfully take down Commander Sarinthious.” “I trust you wholeheartedly with your plans, you are a boy with a brain smart enough to take down an entire country. But does Hailey trust you?” “Yes, she does. I’m sure she would she might have some changes to the plan as well. She has a brilliant mind that can easily catch life-threatening errors”. It was true enough, I had thought. Hailey could easily save our lives if needed. Combined with the fact that White Light could produce a light that could blind only certain people, it would be very useful for her to watch our backs. I asked the farmer,”You’ve been training non-stop just like us. However, you’ve practiced with multiple weapons so which will you be using when we journey to Castle Ebro?” “I believe since I’m best with a sword, I’ll be bringing my shield and that. So tell me, what’s your plan?”, the farmer replied. “I think we should inform Hailey at the same time, so we can make changes to the plan if needed.” “I agree, go get Hailey, I think she’s in the library”. I went to go get Hailey and found her in the library reading the book on Yusvengal weapons, trying to see if she could find anything else on our Yusvengal weapons. “I talked to the farmer about our plan”, I told her,”He wants us to go meet him in order to make changes to it.” Once we were all in the same room, we finally talked about the plan, to kill Commander Sarinthious and the end to his reign. Chapter 15 I told them the plan, showing the map of Castle Ebro. “Unfortunately, due to the fact that our old house is near the main village, we won’t be able to return to the house and see what’s become of it. Instead, we’ll be staying near a much smaller village, called Marie which is a bit north of the castle. “There we will pick up some much needed supplies, and then stay there for a day or two. We’ll see what’s going on, how the castle recovered from the plague, and whether or not we can find a room in the town inn. In addition to this, we’ll see if we can get inside the castle walls, and if we can scout any hazards for our mission to assassinate Commander Sarinthious. “During the scout mission, we’ll be looking for places where a guard might see us. Our plan is take a small boat to the bottom of the cliffs, then scale the wall. The palace will be directly above us, so it should be fairly easy to kill Commander Sarinthious. The plan is for the farmer and I to scale the cliff, and assassinate the Commander. Hailey, we’ll need you to make sure that the rowboat doesn't crash into the rocks and destroying our only hope of escaping. If worst comes to worst, I’ll blind the soldiers with Dark Vortex and escape. “Once we successfully kill Commander Sarinthious, we’ll escape the way we came, but it’ll be much easier climbing down than up, since we can just use a rope to slide all the way down. “Now, does anyone have a suggestions?” Hailey and the farmer looked at me in disbelief. The farmer said,”Well, Jonathan you’ve done it again. A great plan, hopefully, it’ll succeed. But what do you think we should do after we kill Sarinthious?” “Well Hailey, that decision is entirely up to you. Our sole purpose for taking you in was to put you on the throne, as the rightful ruler of the kingdom. What do you think?” Hailey spoke with an uncertainty and said,”Well, I don’t really know. I’m so thankful for both of you for saving my life that day. Perhaps I’ll make you my advisors or something. But once we kill Sarinthious, do you really think that well, the people will believe that I’m truly the ruler of the kingdom?” “Of course, everyone in the surrounding farms, everyone who was poor was just waiting for you to become Queen. Your father did tax us quite a bit, but he was still a fair king. The people will accept you. Even the nobles living under Commander Sarinthious rule don’t like him very much. He seized power in a non-regal way if you ask me”, I told her. “I agree”, the farmer said,”You were always a kind child. Looking out for the entire kingdom. The people will definitely agree that you are the rightful ruler. Prepare your bags both of you, if this plan succeeds, I don’t think we’ll be returning to the Ghost anytime soon. And Hailey? Once you’re done, come to my room, I have something I need to give you”. At the time, I didn’t think that this was unusual. I guess I had thought that the farmer was just giving her a special pendant, or piece of armor, or perhaps a jewelry item as a gift to the true queen. Little did I know that he was planning for his own death. ___________________________________________________________________________________ I want to give a special thank you to all my brilliant readers out there!

    [Story] Immune (Chapter 13)

Hello, this is I_Am_Unkonw, and finally, after a week long break, here is the next chapter of my story, Immune. Index Prologue + Chapter 1 Chapter 2 + Chapter 3 Chapter 4 + Chapter 5 Chatper 6 + Chapter 7 Chapter 8 + Chapter 9 + Chapter 10 Chapter 11 + 12 Chapter 13 For the next three years, we stayed hiding in the Ghost. Every day, Hailey and I would have intense training from everything from sword fighting, to shooting a bow and arrow, to learning how to play chess to pass time. We both learned and practiced to become very good swimmers, we learned how to climb ropes, start fires, and other life saving skills, all to have even the slightest chance of defeating Commander Sarinthious. Our weapons, White Light and Dark Vortex, slowly became not just a part of us, but a part of each other. Of course, we mainly focused on our own weapon, but both of us learned how to use each other’s weapons. Hailey became so accurate, she was able to pick an apple off my head from half a mile away. As it turned out, an arrow that was shot from her bow could travel for almost three miles, an incredible, as well as an impossible distance. But Hailey said that all Yusvengal weapons could do impossible feats. Another amazing thing about Hailey’s White Light was that the bow could even produce a blinding white light, that could blind an opponent if needed. My Dark Vortex impressed me everyday, with it becoming a part of me, I needed to know exactly how to use each of its features as though I had been using it all my life. It was so sharp that I once accidentally dropped it on the floor, and it made a hole through the hardened wood, as well as the next two stories below. The farmer and I worked together to create a scabbard hard enough to be able to safely store Dark Vortex. In addition to its incredible sharpness, it never dulled, I used it to chop wood, and yet it never ceased to cut through the pieces of wood like butter. Another thing that Dark Vortex could do was that it could, well, suck light up. If I were to just think of all the light in a ten meter radius around me, it would get trapped in the blade of my sword. Basically, if I wanted it, I could control the amount of light in a ten meter radius. In addition to this, if I didn’t want the light, I could just store it for later. Eventually, I made a special type of lense that would be able to start a fire from just the light that was emitted from Dark Vortex’s blade. I found the name quite fitting. Each day, Hailey and I would sword fight with wooden swords to help keep our minds sharp. Three times a year, on the farmer’s birthday, Hailey’s and mine, we would bake a special type of cake that was able to create happy thoughts in our minds. Sort of like a drug, but very useful to help keep the dullness of our lives away. Life began to get quite boring, even with the monthly trips to the nearest village to see how the plague was, and if it had died down. Eventually Hailey and I grew quite close. We grew fond of the time we spent during our daily sword fights, as with our monthly journeys to the village. Perhaps, I had thought at the time, maybe hopes of marriage was possible, but I was too shy to admit my feelings. But in any case, this would’ve been impossible looking back on it. Even as I write this in the candlelight, with Hailey reading over what I have written. Her husband is not me, but a worthy king, a ruler for her kingdom. We’ve had many conversations of what we could’ve done differently, but we both agree that under the circumstances that had passed after we left the Ghost, I couldn’t have become king. Not because of her choice, but because of mine. About three years after we arrived at the Ghost, I was now nineteen years old, Hailey was fifteen. We both knew had to use our weapons as though it was part of us. We believed that we had mastered our weapons to the fullest extent, but we were wrong, and this deadly mistake cost us. Anybody wanna guess how the story will play out? If you guess right, I'll give you a special preview of chapter 14!

NOT play tankionline, of course an hour or two won't have much affect but 3+ will definitely have a massive impact later on. Make sure you get plenty of exercise if you want to recover.... That is of course if you weren't just lying about getting injured but whatever

    [Story] Space Disaster

Space Disaster The spacecraft Adventure was ready to start the ignition process. Nuclear fission expert Joe Harper and aerodynamics specialist Rachel Smith would be boarding Adventure and would meet up with 5 other spacecrafts at Motherboard, a massive 300 billion dollar space station. Motherboard was a 10 year project created by 17 different countries working together to create a spaceship that would be able to take astronauts and cosmonauts to Mars. On its maiden flight, Motherboard would take 10 astronauts and cosmonauts to Mars, a 6 month long journey. There, the astronauts would research the planet and collect data and information for 18 months until the planets realigned for the return journey. In all, the journey would take about 2 and a half years, but the astronauts would be in hibernation for a total of almost a year. The hibernation chambers were a touch of genius. These chambers slow a human’s body functions to almost 2%. This allows the astronauts to only wake need to wake once a year to eat and drink a single meal before going back into hibernation. The crew members of the Motherboard were in for a complete adventure. As they said goodbye to their families and friends on August 26, 2089, they knew they would not see them again for more than 900 days. The Adventure launched with a speed of almost 7 miles per second and met its' sister ships Endurance, Interstellar, Blue Marble, and Viking just before 2:00 AM on August 27, 2089. It then attached to Motherboard in space and began its 2 and a half year journey. Joe Harper and Rachel Smith would be sharing an “apartment” together. Each of these apartments were fully self functional air locked compartments all attached and rotating around Motherboard. In all, there were 12 “apartments.” However only 6 were being used and the others were not attached to the main power to conserve energy. The main power source was a small nuclear power generator. However errors did happen sometimes. And on September 16, 2089, that’s exactly what happened. Joe Harper was dashing toward the meeting room, where all the other astronauts were expected to go in the case of an emergency. He had just woken up from hibernation and his mind was still fuzzy. However, the second he regained full consciousness, he recognized the bright red font saying the reactor core was damaged. Captain Thomas Popov was the captain of the Motherboard. He had already spent 8 months aboard the International Space Station. He was the best space pilot in Joe Harper’s opinion. He also made some pretty good omelets too. “Crew, the nuclear reactor’s cooling system is damaged,” Captain Popov said grimly. Joe Harper was starting to panic. He and the other astronauts had been prepped for the last half hour. They were all giving suggestions on their own, but it was Thomas Popov who had the final word on the plan. “Based on what Houston is telling us, the computer managing the cooling system was messed up during launch. We do have a spare computer but the only way to fix it is to directly enter the radiation chamber itself. We each have our own anti-radiation suits. However only Joe Harper knows how to replace the computer. The plan is for the rest of you to temporarily shut down the system, at which point we will have about 15 minutes to enter the chamber, switch the computers, and exit safely. I will go as well because I know this ship like the back of my hand,” Captain Popov said. “Does everyone understand?” Everyone murmured, "yes” and quickly ran to their apartments to retrieve the needed supplies to help contribute to fixing the ship. Joe Harper ran back to get the spare computer and his radiation suit. There, he found Rachel Smith, talking with another astronaut Ezra McMann about a problem. “Hey what’s wrong?” Joe Harper asked, looking concerned. “If we don’t fix the system, this entire mission might be compromised. Because we are limited on energy and fuel, we’ll miss our window to Mars if we don’t fix the problem immediately, then we won’t be able spend any time on Mars, and will just need to return to Earth,” Ezra explained to Joe. “The problem is we just don’t know if the only problem is with the computer. But for now, let’s focus on the problem at hand. Good luck, this maybe be the most important job yet.” An hour later, the crew was ready. They were all in their required positions at which they could help one another. A few were in the Captain’s room, where they would power off the reactor, and the rest were helping Joe Harper and the Captain get ready for their daring mission. Joe Harper and Thomas Popov entered the chamber hoping that their plan would work. “Hurry Joe, the computer module is this way.” Captain Popov said. “Yup, when we get there, I’ll need you to help me unscrew the computer as quick as possible so that I can remove the damaged computer and replace it,” Joe Harper said. “You got it, I got my own kit here, and you have the computer?” “Right here, we need to hurry. Only 12 minutes left.” The pair saw the computer and immediately recognized the problem. During the launch an emergency defibrillator kit had gotten loose and crashed on the computer. Being the strongest of the two, Thomas Popov lifted the kit and removed the computer while Joe Harper unpacked the computer. Carefully, he fitted the computer and reattached the wires. The computer powered up. It was a success! Although they were successful, Joe and Captain Popov didn’t have a second to celebrate. They didn’t even bother taking their supplies with them as they dashed towards the exit. They had mere seconds left. Upon reaching the exit, Captain Popov held the chamber door open for Joe, and the second he ran through he slammed the door shot. The metal door had a resounding clang and just as he pressurized the room, he heard the hum of the reactor power back online. “We did it Joe! Wow, we got really lucky didn’t we?” Captain Popov said. “Oh yeah, we did do it,” Joe Harper panted, with his head against the wall. “Real close, mate, real close.” “Well not exactly, we did have our radiation suits on, didn’t we?” “We both know that against a full blast of radiation, they wouldn’t have done anything.” “Well I guess I did, but we made it anyway.” Then speaking into his radio communication system he told the rest of the crew,”We were successful! Tell Houston that we are going to continue as planned.” On February 3, 2090, the crew woke up from hibernation. And on February 4, 2090, they loaded up 2 spacecraft, the Endurance, and Interstellar with enough supplies and food for their mission on Mars. Nobody wanted to stay behind, and they all studied and collected data for the next year and a half. And on March 7, 2092, They returned home safely with no casualties. The brave astronauts and cosmonauts were considered world heroes, and in the year 2105, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and United Nation Exploration Program launched a rocket that would be the first to colonize Mars. Interstellar travel was becoming reality. ___________________
  21. When I said "Until then, once a month we’ll send either Hailey or you to see what has become of Castle Ebro and its surroundings”, I meant that a month after they arrived at the Ghost, they would send either Jonathan or Hailey to see if the plague had died down. A month after, the search for Hailey would probably be over as the government/Commander Sarinthious would have more important matters on their hands, such as the plague.

    [Story] Immune (Chapter 11 + Chapter 12)

Hello, I_Am_Unkown here, and I'll be posting the next two chapters as well as what we can reveal so far #3. Want to read the story from the beginning? Chapter 11 And so, us rebels (we thought ourselves as such) traveled north for two days. Hailey picked a fine horse, named Citrus and the farmer rode his horse, named Saphira. It took us nearly 2 and a half days to reach the edge of the Endless forest. Along the way, we stopped by Voracious, in which we picked up some much needed supplies as well as watered our horses. We stayed the night, and heard more news about the plague. It had already spread to the Village of Temore. We decided that it was best if we waited the plague out in the bunker. When we reached the edge of the Endless Forest, it took us six more hours to get to the actual bunker itself. The farmer and I had hidden it deep in the forest so that nobody could find it. In addition to this, we did it so that we could still have a fire without anybody seeing the smoke. “Wow, what a week”, Hailey said. “I hope my parents bodies were buried so I might see them in the future”. “I’m sure they will receive spectacular burials from the nobles”, I said reassuringly.”Even though your father might've been unfair to some, he still brought our kingdom out of poverty”. “I agree”, the farmer said.”Your father saved this kingdom in my opinion. He was forced to heavily tax certain people to keep others happy, but if it wasn't for the drastic measures he took, who knows? This kingdom might’ve been conquered". “We’re almost there Hailey, once we get through this bushy area, we should be able to see the bunker”, I informed her. “Wow, it is big”, Hailey gasped, once she saw it. “Almost twice as large as the house we left behind”. “Took us nearly five years to finish”, the farmer said. “I figured that somewhere along the way, some sort of large disaster would happen that would cause us to flee my house. Good thing I finished it in time, or else who knows? We might have all been killed by the plague”. We entered the house. There was no front gate or anything. Instead, we entered through a hatch located at the top. It was built so that you couldn’t see the entire thing, but instead only saw a small portion of it. In order to see the entire building, you would need to go underground, where most of the house was located. “The farmer and I already have our own rooms. I’ll show you to the guest room, or rather, the nicest one”, I said. “Give her the one closest to the porch, that way she'll have some fresh air”, the farmer said. “Good idea, seeing that she likes to read, sunlight might be good for her”, I said. “Oh, but I didn’t bring any books, except the one you gave me on the Yusvengal weapons”, Hailey replied. “Well, wait until you see the library, takes up almost a half of the common room”, I spoke, smugly. “We should give this place a name”, the farmer said,”seeing that we’ll be living here until the plague dies down. That could very well be the rest of our lives”. “Well, I was thinking about the Ghost”, Hailey said. “I like that name, seeing as nobody has ever seen this bunker except the three of us”, I said. “Then it’s settled”, the farmer said,”We will now call this bunker, the Ghost”. What we can reveal so far..... Chapter 12 “So Hailey, did you finish reading the book on the Yusvengal weapons?”, I asked. “Sure did. It was really complicated and long so I’ll do my best to sum it up”, Hailey said. “Yusvengal weapons are basically weapons that are powered by special crystals, called Vengal crystals. These crystals are incredibly rare and only enough were found to create 25 Yusvengal weapons. There was a great war about 350 years ago that caused many to be lost. And by the looks of things, it seems that this Commander Sarinthious stole these weapons from the castle’s armory. Well I guess that ‘stole’ isn’t the right word, he just took them as he is the Commander of the army. These Vengal crystals contain an unlimited amount of power, which causes them to be incredibly dangerous. Once upon a time, a great castle had stood to contain them, but a Vengal crystal had completely destroyed it. In the end, an inventor figured out a way to contain a Vengal crystal’s power in the form of a weapon. But because of the war, only 9 remain. And I guess the castle has 4 of these, and we stole 2 of them. We have the bow and the sword, "Dark Vortex" and "White Light", but the castle also has a shield that can shoot arrows similar to "White Light". There is also a helmet that can blind opponents as well as boost the user's speed and power. The shield is called "Neva Cross", and the helmet is called "Citru". I don’t think Commander Sarinthious had these on display because he was worried that someone would steal them, as they are much more powerful than Dark Vortex and White Light. The other 5 Yusvengal weapons were hidden in an underground cave and nobody knows where the cave is except for a handful of people. And that’s all the book talked about.” “Thank you very much for informing us”, the farmer said, stroking his beard,”If we find the other 5 Yusvengal weapons, we might have a chance at reclaiming Castle Ebro”. “Well, what do we do with the two weapons we have?”, I asked. “Well, I was thinking about giving them to you and Hailey”, the farmer said. “What? No, you should take the sword, and well, I guess Hailey should use "White Light" as she does know how to use the bow. But the sword, I can’t, I’m just not good enough”, I said. “No, you will, I’m too old too fight, I’ll have to teach you, as I used to fight in the army. I have some wooden swords that you can use to train. And Hailey?”, the farmer asked. “Yes, I’ll use "White Light", but I will need a lot of training to get better, I only know how to shoot small animals, not large moving objects with armor on”. “I agree, but I also think that you should learn how to fight with a sword as well. Not as well as Jonathan of course, but just in case that you need to defend yourself at close combat.” “I guess so”, Hailey said.”In that case I think I’ll start practicing with the wooden sword”. “Jonathan, why don’t you take her through the basics”, the farmer said. ”After that, I’ll walk help teach you some more advanced moves”. I started wondering what would happen once the plague died down. Would we return to our house near the village, would there even be a village? “What will happen once the plague dies down”, I asked. “We can’t go back until we know for sure that the plague has died down. Until then, once a month we’ll send either Hailey or you to see what has become of Castle Ebro and its surroundings”, the farmer said. “Until then, Hailey will do her best to hunt some meat, and we’ll do what we can with the vegetation growing and the meat we stored”. “In fact”, Hailey said,”I think I’ll go hunting right now, while you and Jonathan rest. I’m really anxious to go back to hunting as I haven’t gone hunting for a while now”. “Sounds good, Jonathan. Why don’t you give Hailey "White Light" so she can try hunting with it, we’ll need you to be able to hit targets from long distances if we want to even have a chance at defeating Commander Sarinthious. In the meantime, we'd better get some rest”, the farmer said. ________________ As usual, please comment below any if you have any thoughts or suggestions.
