Quite the opposite. At legend, you face ALOT of guys with Clay protection (that's 50% even without MUs) Imo hammer is the least likely weapon to face protection modules in normal battles (along with magnum)

Legends have M4s, the best equipments they need. Paints are the last thing you should think about. Look at me, I'm WO5 and I'll get my 10th MU on my M1 shaft this sale, cuz I don't waste my crys on paints.
