Or a Star Trekkie?
-
I was watching some eSports videos today and was wondering.
-
Okay, I confess. I did it. I'm mature enough to admit it and mature enough to pay the consequences.
-
I've noticed in eSports, you don't see anyone lagging, rubberbanding, driving into walls, etc. Why? In regular game play, pro and non-pro, it's common to see lots of lags. Why not in eSports?

No. PC with Win10.

There are several translators that can be used in a game, but they are all based on Google Translate. For now, until someone comes out with something better, what we got is all we got.

I don't know how that other tank game (whose name will remain unnamed) does it, but every battle you are in is automatically recorded and kept in a folder. The folder is made when you download the game. When you want to view any battles, you open the game's folder and then click on the file. May I ask why it's so important to record you catching Gold Boxes? In order to do that, you would have to record every battle, just in case you catch one. If you have to prove it to someone, just go into your profile and it shows how many you have caught. You said you just wanted the last battle you were in recorded. That means after every battle you'll have to delete it so the next one can be recorded. After deleting many videos, you finally catch a Gold Box. Then what? Sounds like you need to load a few things from your hard drive to a disk or flash drive. Are you asking Tanki to create a memory bank so that you and how many thousand other players can view their last battle?

I asked a friend of mine, whose an Atheist, what she would do. She said, "For the first time in my life, I'd get on my knees and pray!!" A catastrophe can change people.

I don't have MS Excel. Am I SOL?

Lesson learned (I hope). There is a reason why accounts should not be bought, traded, sold or gotten for free. They may have bugs.

http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=355282 This player had a similar idea. His wants to gain xp to get more crystals without ranking up. You want to toggle off xp to gain more crystals without ranking up.

Do you have to sign up or just play as usual and the results are recorded for everyone?

I have a few accounts. If I feel an account needs the extra benefit, then I'll buy a few days, but that's very occasionally. Does that make me a buyer? I guess so, since I bought something. Personally, I just don't want to advertise what I consider my business and no one else's.

Only if it's a well thought out post or if I agree. I'm not a Troll who posts "I agree." Or ^ ^ :) Or

Well, it seems this Apocalypse is inevitable. What would I do? I'd bend over, put my head between my legs and kiss my ever lovin' butt good-bye. Unless I was a contortionist, then I'd bend over backwards to kiss my ever lovin' butt good-bye

I didn't know that. Then I'm sure most of mine won't make the list. I really didn't try for creativity on my Q's and Z's list.

I agree with those who say that video games are a sign of immaturity when it becomes more important than real life responsibilities. Playing games, in itself, is not immature. Before I moved out of my parents house and got a life of my own, my Mom said many times, "Why do you play those stupid games?" "Don't you have something better to do with your time?" I didn't play video games very often, I don't think. Usually a couple hours before going to bed (after homework was done). But that wasn't every night. On the weekends, it was the same. I like to read about current events and use the computer to get different viewpoints. At times, that's what I was doing, not playing video games, when my Mom walked in. She wasn't a computer person and very naive about what could be gained from computers. Somehow she got the impression that all one could do on a computer was play games. Now, that I'm my own person, I still have a full life outside of the world of computers. I love to meet people in person and am very outgoing. My Mom still teases me about computer gaming.

Ya'll are speaking some kind of foreign language to me. Get past 2+2=22 and I'm lost. ;) :D

I'm aware of that. I was checking to see if he was including lasers. I think Smoky and Shaft are the only ammos you can't see. Before Shaft got a laser, you couldn't see the projectile coming, like Smoky.

At one time, players downloaded a palette that allowed them to change the color of their tank, but only the player saw the difference. For instance, if a player had Spark and changed it to red, yellow and orange Spark, everyone else would still see the blue, purple and white Spark. It didn't seem to last long, though. There was another tank game I played before I found Tanki. That game was abandoned by the Developer and went defunct. It had a garage feature that allowed you to paint the skin of your tank. The only limitations was your imagination and time you were willing to spend in the detailing. I changed the color and detailing quite often. One time it looked like it was made out red English brick complete with mortar. Then changed it to look like steel plates, overlapping and offset complete with rivets. Later, I spray painted a little bit of rust around the edges. After I got tired of that, I changed it to look like a spring flower meadow, complete with blue sky, white clouds, green grass and very detailed spring flowers growing up from the grass. The other players could see your artwork. I remember one player did his to look like a lightning storm. Very detailed and beautifully done. You could even see the silhouette of buildings in the lightning flashes. Yeah, that was fun.

What about the tanks that use lasers? Those would be the color of your paint, too? The other day, I was in a battle on Bridges map. We had 4 Vulcans and the other team had 3 Vulcans. That's 7 bullet tracers going through the air, readily seen by all. Each Vulcan player could have had a different color paint, making 7 different colors of tracers going all over the map. I think that rainbow of colors would be too distracting.

That was not a name suggestion. Look at the quote to @Magenta. He asked me to separate my suggested name list. I had the list in 2 columns instead of one and I changed that. I was responding to his request.

"...make supplies less OP..."? I've been in battles where the enemy's supplies are never ending. There's supplies that drop, personal supplies and now OD. In a few battles I wondered if there was a supply hack members of the team were using or if the battle was well orchestrated by using Skype or Discord. On those teams, not everyone was in a Clan nor in the same Clan. I wonder about the hack, because I've seen lone individuals activate all the OD supplies at once but no blue dome. First time I saw that was on Brest. I was in the base building and a lone enemy tank came in. His turret was pointing straight so I knew I was out of his line of sight. He came in the front, I was off to one side. When he started to enter, like in the doorway, he had no supplies activated. Then suddenly, all the OD supplies appeared without the dome and he headed for the second floor. Second time I saw that happen was on Osa. Four enemy tanks came into out base with either DD or DA activated. Three of us saw them coming and were ready to attack....and that we did. Suddenly, all the OD supplies appeared over one of the tanks and no dome. None of the tanks around him had any benefit from him. Saw it again on Brest. Enemy tank was crossing the bridge. I was the only one attacking him and he was taking damage. The RK box wasn't on the bridge and I saw the OD supplies activate over his tank, but no dome. I've seen it a few other times, too.
