Magnum is almost universally loathed. Hopefully the update will bring it in line with the other turrets.

Do developers actually look at this thread? My guess is they don't. Anyway, here's what I think the game would benefit from... Snipers are missing out on animated paints. I own a couple of funky ones, but I don't often use them as I like to choose a paint to blend in with the background (walls, sky, sand, snow, bushes etc.) So why not design a group of animated paints with snipers in mind? A sandstone-wall shaded one for example, that looks like a tanki wall from a distance, but up close glitters like a 1970s rock star. Come on tanki designers, the snipers are missing out on all the fun!

I'm really pleased War is back, but 'the better and more you play, the more stars you'll earn' troubles me. How exactly will this be calculated? Just like with the Crazy Weekend, if I have to play for many hours a day I'm out, I hate ranking up too quickly, it simply isn't worth the rewards. 'The better you play' part sounds fine, but what are the criteria for that? If it isn't K/D, is it XP earned in a battle? Crystals earned? Final position at the end of a game? Give us a clue what we're meant to be aiming for.

The number of tanks using speed hacks is obscene, I can't wait until normality resumes. The tank upgrade discounts are always welcome, but what with the constant begging for gold and the speed hackers, I've come to loathe the accompanying gold drop rains in weeks like this.

'Emporer', invisible paint. Animated.

Acne paint.

Beer paint. Frothy turret, bubbly hull.

Emmental cheese paint.

Ok, thanks BlackWasp. You're right, it is a useful feature. Maybe it would be better to have a pop-up appear after account creation though, rather than in the wiki. And maybe a little bit longer breathing space should be given for non-purchasing accounts. It was only a few short months ago. But thanks for your help, it's much appreciated.

The problem is that Tanki asks for a fresh email for every account created. It's hardly surprising you don't make logging back into it to check for unexpected notifications part of your daily routine.

Never mind, you live and learn. Now I'm going to spend a whole weekend finding a cool name, there are so very few left. It's a bit like like mining for Bitcoins.

Unfortunately I didn't buy anything. If I'd have known I'd have definitely made a purchase. And no, there was no notification that it had been requested by another player.

Never mind, I just checked the email inbox. "Your Tanki Online account Drone has been inactive for too long. Further inactivity may result in your account being automatically renamed." That's a REALLY bad policy. :(

Ok, so a few months ago I created an account called Drone, which I thought was quite a cool name. I parked the account, ready to play it this summer, only to find that Tanki has introduced drones into the game, and presumably as a result, renamed my account r_Drone5. Seriously? r_Drone5? You couldn't have given it a slightly less absurd name, or perhaps even gifted me a free rename pass? Kind regards, r_Drone5. See? How can anyone take that seriously. Jeez, it's like wearing shorts to school when you're 16. The whole school will be laughing and pointing. :(

I have six accounts with Tanki Online, and have paid money into each to develop my tanks (Stonehenge, by the way, is one of my lowest ranking tanks). If drones turn out as stupid as I'm expecting them to be, it'll be the final straw, and I'll abandon all my accounts to play another game. MM stinks. I don't normally complain, but seriously, it's appalling.

Most players at that level have M0s. As well as M2s. Doesn't mean he's accrued a high score using his M0s, that's what the in-game garage is for..

Meh. Probably just changed his equipment for the shot.

I almost quit the game today, but then my Rhovanion account won the new Chill bro! paint from a container. I mean, how can you quit when you look like a raspberry Cornetto? I'll give it a few more days.

I may have to retire my two sniper accounts, it's too difficult to earn crystals unless I'm permanently pointing at my own flag to shoot an enemy flag-catcher. It simply doesn't pay to get 30-40 kills/no deaths any more, which seems unfair given how much the high kill rate helps the team. Also, on many maps I get annihalated by the faster hulls, some maps are pretty much unplayable. Match-making seems to suit more adaptable combos.
