It won't be the worst drone if you need to have it fully upgraded to get the full effect of DA and DD, and I think Brutus has been chosen to be the no-batteries-required drone because it is cheaper to upgrade So Brutus will become default equipment for all players and anyone who wants their drones to do anything else will have to fully upgrade them if they also want to get the full effect of DA and DD So if / when this update happens (if not before), my priority will be buying and upgrading Brutus before I upgrade my other drone It's still a lot cheaper for me to upgrade Brutus from 0/20 to 20/20 than upgrade my other drone from 8/20 to 20/20

@Tidebreaker has better luck than me with Ultra containers, buying these was a waste of Tankoins ?

I have a lot of crystals for my ranks because I've played a long game, like my Lieutenant General account which is still under 800K XP after nearly 400 hours and has over 3.6 million crystals But they disappear fast when you buy a MK7 kit and start upgrading it (with the aim getting close to 9000+ GS at Marshall by playing a long game) and want to have a good choice of 40-50% modules, as I'm finding out with my Marshall account My Marshall account can put a decent fight against Legends when I spam supplies (I'll never run out, hundreds of hours of saving them up), especially with Striker, but now I'm wondering if I can afford any more equipment / MUs because I'll have to upgrade my not-Brutus drone to 20/20 (it's at 8/20) and buy and upgrade Brutus to 20/20 too That will cost 1.35 million crystals without any discounts, so probably close to a million with sales (eight of those left this year, half being 50%) if I want to use more drones than Brutus. Crystals I wanted to spend on other things (was going to stop upgrading my not-Brutus drone at 10/20). At least I have the crystals though; a lot of players won't.

It's nice when you get an animated paint that you like (although it doesn't look as good on HD/Ultra tanks because of the smaller tiling)

I've earned nearly 400,000 crystals from Shard containers since they were introduced (on one account, haven't done the math for the others), which is enough to buy and fully upgrade a Brutus drone with some discounts from sales So if (assuming @ThirdOnion is correct) you need to do that to un-nerf supplies (from the V-LOG, "with upgrading a drone, the passive bonus you get from it will also increase, reaching the maximum double boost that you get from the supply now"), then a lot of players will have a Brutus as part of their default combo and nothing will have really changed as far as the strength / META of supplies is concerned It's more of a nerf for the other drones that cost more to upgrade, so someone using Saboteur will need to have it fully upgraded if they don't want their other supplies to be weakened by their choice of a Mines drone (assuming Mines are unaffected by the update) And now I'll have to fully upgrade my Engineers, and people using Drones where upgrades aren't really worth it (like Trickster) will have to do the same What really bugs me is that I think TO could get a more stable / long-term income by offering usability improvements for money or TK, like queuing several MUs or automatically claiming Shard containers or the free crystals from the shop so that players only have to log in when they want to play instead of just for housekeeping, but they keep changing the game several times a year instead

And I'm not that bothered about that, so no complaints from me apart from the initial bugginess of it I'll grind to complete a challenge, but not for anything else; this one isn't much different from grinding 30000 points to get 7 Ultra Containers I've only scored 4535 points for the "meteor shower" mission, and I completed the April A challenge

I think everyone will start using it if they want maximum effectiveness for their supplies and can't afford to upgrade another drone or the batteries to run it Changes need more explanation

I watched it a few times and I'm still not sure I get it Sounds like you'll need to have a Brutus drone fully upgraded if you want DA and DD to actually be DA and DD (and don't want to consume batteries)

@CageTheElephant The icons for Smoky's Rubberized Rounds and Vulcan's ones aren't identical (the difference is small) The icon on the Wiki for April B is the one for Smoky, not Vulcan

I hope not because I think Hunter Prime (which I have for one account, but only one sadly) is better looking than Hunter Ultra (I think Hunter Ultra breaks up the core shape of Hunter too much, especially at the front) But if it is true that the HD skins are being introduced as part of a overall increase in the sophistication of the game's graphics, then the Prime and Legacy and pre-Ares/Hopper/Crusader XT skins will need higher polygon versions too (and higher resolution textures) If they are not going to be replaced with new versions and will continue to be allowed to exist alongside the Ultra and HD and Ares/Hopper/Crusader XT skins, then there is no reason why the M0/1/2/3 skins should not be available too

I've found it to be a natural progression from Smoky, and I hope it remains relatively unpopular / a choice for discerning tankers So much fun though; I killed a pair of Wasp-Isidas playing kissy kissy on the other side of Lost Kingdom with one rocket a few weeks ago

Striker getting a new skin is nice, but now I'm worried about any new augments and special events etc. that will arrive with it I don't want Striker to be the next turret that gets ruined by becoming the center of attention, was bad enough with Smoky

@mooody09 heat immunity has been in challenges in the past, but I can only remember Hunter and Dictator heat immunity. Crusader too.

I think Assault Rounds should have a sub-critical hit that defeats Dolphin modules, but without the extra damage and maximum range that you get from a stock / other augment critical hit But I'm still using Assault Rounds nearly all the time because the increased velocity still outweighs all of its disadvantages for me
