I don't see how the hassle pop-up is going to win over the hearts and minds of people who still hate the HTML5 version, and might quit TO in December I still use the Flash version to look at / change my daily missions every day or if I just want to look my garage because account switching is faster (and the garage has tables of parameters / prices), but I don't use it for playing any more because it's too unstable (I still think the Flash version is better, but that's irrelevant because Flash is on borrowed time) The hassle pop-up isn't going to stop me from using the Flash version (before December) for housekeeping until account switching is as easy in the HTML5 version
-
I'm happy to admit my conflicts of interest re Smoky* and Hunter, but I'm also happy to listen to reasonable arguments about fine tuning of parameters etc. I don't want Hornet's OD to be nerfed if "nerfed" = huge changes, but I think it should be changed slightly, not ignoring spawn protection, couple of seconds reduction in duration, that sort of thing *I don't want Smoky to become OP/meta, so I'll argue against anything that might lead to that

Jokes aside, there might be an argument for giving Ares more speed because any benefits of hovering aren't worth the loss in pushing power But my biggest disappointment with Ares is the lack of extra keys that allow you to use its full movement potential, need six keys for controlling the hull instead of four
-
But my Hunter has tracks and your Ares is a fat floaty thing with lots of hit points, so off the edge of the map you go
-
I've pushed two Ares off the edges of maps today, such fun
-
But you can push it around and drive underneath it because it's like a big balloon, which is fun
-
It's ironic that we are all being forced to use the Flash version again (I've missed it, it's still better, even though Flash is doomed) on the day that they introduce a hassle pop-up to deter people from using it
-
And look out for players called S****Zilla (there are four of them) that play hunt-the-camper in siege mode
-
I'm hoping the texture changes mentioned in the patch notes are just about filtering etc. instead of applying the shrinking of all of the paint textures that you only see on ultra skins at the moment, which looks rubbish
-
I've run TO at 4K on one of my PCs (both HTML and Flash), but for some reason you can't rotate your tank etc. in the garage on the HTML version at resolutions higher than 2560x1440
-
I don't take it that seriously, and I also open containers one by one, if only so I can say "this is the container I got for a 500 kills weekly mission" etc. My luck varies. It's just that people's "strategies" for opening containers keep turning up here, and people who know anything about statistics have to keep pointing out the obvious.

I don't get it either, especially when I found out you could only turn the turret by moving the hull (with a keyboard), making most of the interesting moves you can do with a hover hull impossible (for keyboard users) But that might have changed since the last round of test servering Was more fun to join the test server and use another hull and push the hover hulls off the edges of the map

I've had three epics from my last 43 containers: a useless shot effect, an augment that might be useful, heavy plasma, and a rubbish paint, charred, the rubbish twin of the just as rubbish jade scales. My frequency of epic containers is still 2% or 1-in-50, and the distribution of something that small can be really random. I got two epics in a row once. exactly, there's so much confirmation bias here, a lot of players would be easy targets for gambling scams

But I think Viking's OD is rubbish. I don't want it. I'd consider swapping Hunter's OD for Dictator's OD or Hornet's OD, but not for any of the others (I have nearly 1500 hours on Hunter)

looks like you have accidentally decreased the battle screen size default keys for it are "=" or numpad "+" to increase its size, and "-" or numpad "-" to decrease its size one press of the increase key should fix that
-
I still use the Flash version first thing in the morning to look at missions etc. because account switching is faster, and if I only want to look at my garage instead of play, but I stopped playing in the Flash version when the camera etc. in the HTML5 version was fixed. I think many more players would have abandoned the Flash version for playing if the camera etc. was fixed earlier. I don't know why the complaints were ignored for so long. I still prefer the Flash version, but it's too unreliable and Flash is literally a dead end.

I think hours in game have only been counted for a few years (but before I started), so lots of older accounts have incorrect hours in game numbers on their profiles -

as long as it isn't premium (although you don't have to claim it), you'll end up ranking up if you just sneeze at another tank
-
There's some justificaton for Mk8 and Mk9 because the increase in stats from Mk7 to Mk7+ is often twice the increase from a lower Mk to the next one, but it's never going to catch on Most players use Mk8 as shorthand for a fully upgraded piece of equipment
-
Another three day event where I'll be hoping for collect / use supplies or finish battles missions, X2 on top of the current boost is dumb
-
When I used to do 20 missions a week every week (I stopped doing it before the XP nonsense because it takes too long with multiple accounts), the damage mission was one of the weekly missions that I always managed to complete in one week, along with the overdrives mission. I just played lots of JGR. I would often do the 5000 crystals mission in one week without much extra effort, but I rarely did the 500 kills and 10000 points missions in one week. Top 3 x 15 mission usually took two weeks if I focused on CP and JGR, but often three weeks, sometimes one week. But now I'm ignoring them all and they get done when get done because of the XP cost. I'm only doing 10 daily missions every week.
-
Doesn't make any difference, and a lot of players really need to learn about confirmation bias I have always opened containers 1 by 1 and my luck does vary a lot, and across accounts, my lowest ranked account is the unluckiest

The statement is true in the sense of not being to get the next Mk of an item for "free" until it is completely micro-upgraded, but before the Mk update you could only get the "free" item during the unlock rank If you didn't completely micro-upgrade the item before the next rank, you wouldn't get it for "free" and you would have wasted crystals on micro-upgrades This is why I didn't micro-upgrade many M1 protection modules because there were often not enough sales between the unlock rank for M1 and the unlock rank for M2 But with the Mk update requiring everyone to buy all previous Mks of an item unless they buy a product kit, that one rank window for zero crystal purchases of fully micro-upgraded items had to go
