It all started 4 years ago But it still haunts me to this day. What happened, you ask? The Attack happened. Let me take you back to Christmas Eve of 2014. "We're almost there," said my mother, "You must be so excited! A birthday party on Christmas Eve!" I shrugged. "Meh." As we pulled into my best friend's house, my mother gave me a warm smile. I didn't realize it was the last smile I would see from her. I walked out, carrying my present. When I turned around to wave bye to my mom, the car was gone. How on Earth could it have gone that fast? I thought. Whatever. I knocked on the door, to be welcomed by my friends parents, whom I knew well. I put my present with the rest and I went to see what they were doing. "Lets play tag outside!" "No, it's far too dark." "That's what makes it fun!" "Agreed!" "OK, fine. Everybody outside for tag." I walked outside with everybody else, joking like I had already been there for ages. When I walked out, I was struck by how cold it was. It definitely wasn't this cold when I got here. And that was 2 minutes ago. We did blue shoe to see who would be it. It was the birthday boy, James. "Alright, I'm counting! 1... 2... 3..." Me and my friend Ethan started running as fast as we could. They said there were no boundaries. "Cmon," I said, "I saw a place we could go on my way here." My idea was to go into the woods. That was my mistake. We went towards the woods, and as we got there we heard James: "49... 50! READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!" We bolted into the forest. It was pitch black, and we constantly bumped into each other. Eventually we got tired and we started walking. We couldn't see a thing. I was staring at my feet, watching out so I wouldn't trip, when the group changed suddenly. I whirled around to see the final specks of nighttime disappear as the door shut silently. Ethan didn't notice a thing. "Hey Ethan, the floor seems different, did you notice?" He bent down and put his hand on the floor. As soon as he pressed his hand against the floor he started shaking. "I-It's marble... but... this place seems... creepy. I'm scared." That came as a shock to me, as he was rarely scared. "Scared...?" "You heard me." I pressed my hand against the floor. Instantly, I couldn't see anything. I've been unable to see before, but this was different. This kind of dark felt constricting, evil. "I-It's dark now..." I was surprised to hear my voice echo so much. This building must have been huge. How did we not see it? "W-what is this place... it's like a temple..." "A temple of what," Ethan asked jokingly, "darkness?" "That is very much what this is," said a dark voice that seemed to come from everywhere, but also nowhere, "this is the Temple of Darkness. Enjoy it, now that you won't live much longer."

ETD (Electronic Turret Disabler) This turret does no damage, but will make the enemies in a certain radius not be able to shoot. Good for team battles, useless in DM and juggernaut. cant shoot over walls

It all started about 15 hours ago. I was out on the battlefield, with my Wasp and Railgun, blasting enemies left and right. Suddenly, I got a video message. I opened it up. "Hey Commander, need any help?" "We need your help right away Lose," he said, "we can't hold out much longe-" The rest of the video went black, I could hear explosions and the Commander yelling defiantly. I quickly left the battle I was in and went to Commander's battle. The only thing I knew was what the battle was called, 999. I joined to see chaos. The map expanded beyond the horizon, further then I could imagine anybody could see, with explosions and screaming everywhere. Shots were flying everywhere, people getting hit, people missing, people hiding. I quickly noticed a shaft, and loaded up my Railgun. I plugged my ears as my tank's turret shot, sending a laser beam straight through the tank. I looked out to hear an explosion and a scream as somebody jumped out of their Shaft and Hornet tank right before it exploded. "Nice work, kid, but there are more of them," said a voice behind me. I turned my tank around, getting ready to shoot. When I realized it was Commander, I quickly put it off as trying to shoot somebody behind him. Commander was not impressed. "Alright, kid. Listen. This is a Capture The Flag battle, you understand? Ok, what's so special about this CTF battle is that it takes 999 flags to win." I had to make sure I heard him correctly. "Sir, you just said... 999 flags to win?" "That's right," he said, "and we need your help." I straightened up, determined to impress him. "I will fight to the end, if there is an end to the fighting." "Good boy," he replied, "just watch out for your friend." I stared at him, confused, until I heard my friend Claudia's voice. "Hi, Lose!" I whirled around so quickly my tank almost split in two. "What are you doing here?!", I demanded. "I'm here to help," she said, "what can I do!" I looked at the little Smoky and Wasp. "You can do whatever you think is right. Just be careful." "OK," she replied, "I'll be careful." So we went to help with the war. It was a couple of hours in, maybe 2-3, and I had made a friend. His name was Death_And_Horror, and he was a pretty cool guy. Was. It happened about 15 minutes later. We were fighting a Titan and Smoky that was giving us a particular amount of trouble. I was distracting him, peppering him with shots, and Death_And_Horror snuck up from behind with his Hunter and Firebird. He was about to shoot when I saw a red laser secure find his tank. The words "LOOK OUT!" came out as just a terrified squeak. I watched in horror as Death_And_Horror turned his Firebird to the sound of the 4 rockets leaving its barrels. Time seemed to slow down. The rockets hit him, one by one, slowly, each explosion setting more grief in my heart. The second rocket hit, and I was dreading the noise of his tank exploding. The third rocket hit, his tank was still standing. As the fourth rocket hit, time seemed to nearly stop. If it seemed slow before, now it was slower. The explosion of his tank brightened the whole sky, hurting my eyes. The smoke cleared, showing Death_And_Horror's tank charred and destroyed. I knew he didn't make it out. I shot the Titan and Smoky again, destroying it. Then I went to the Striker and Hunter, determined to give him a slow and painful death. But then a noise filled the air. It sounded like a tornado siren, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky, well I thought there wasn't, as for the sky was filled with smoke. That meant the siren meant something far more important. The gold box would drop soon. this was my first ever actual story, don't kill me if it was bad XD.

my story: Jack woke up from his nightmare, dazed, tired and scared. He looked around, trying to get his bearings. Was it really only 10 PM?, he thought. Jack shrugged it off and got out of bed, not tired anymore. As he walked out of his room, he realized everybody was asleep. Which was strange. He stopped, looking for the familiar sound of his brothers Fortnite Youtube videos. Nothing. He jumped as he heard a creak. It was just the air conditioning, phew. He went downstairs to get a drink. He went to the fridge, and pressed on the lever, filling his cup. Suddenly the water stopped pouring, and the fridge started making a strange, low humming noise. Terrified, he thought: I'm probably still dreaming. Right after he finished the thought, he saw a flash and heard a loud thunk. He turned to see a knife embedded in the wall, inches from his neck would have been. He turned back around, just to see a man with a knife in both hands standing across the hall. He threw 1 of the knives, which Jack knew would not miss. At least it's a dream, Jack thought. It was too late before he found out it wasn't actually a dream.
