  1. This would be complicated.

    If you would want that it should look like ratings http://prntscr.com/ngahww than how would it be. Say Say 1,000 players have isida M0 and they earned 100,00 points of experience with it-but maybe M1 isida nobody uses?

    You would have to show all 4 stages-of all different turrets.

    http://prntscr.com/ngaq9t

    That's how it would work.

    Rather complicated-but if a dev is willing to do it I am in for this.

  2. How about all overdrives in one?

    We are trying to help a Juggernaut who is surrounded by all the other players to stay alive-and make some kills.

    We don't want him to kill everyone!

    Devs have something else planned for the near future that should help out Juggernaut.

    This needs to come quick-whenever I am the Juggernaut I just get surrounded and destroyed.

  3. Who says 15 years old players don't understand timezone conversions? I'd say they are more like 12~13 than 15. Instead of in-game, they could add it to/edit the current on the forum so there is no confusion about which time was when user posted his/her reply converted to your time.

    If you usually don't know something you can google it.

    Its not that we don't understand-its that its too confusing, and if you want to talk to someone about if they are going to sleep soon-or what time it is there,

    And since we don't want to have to start a new tab and google it  or ask someone or try to remember the conversion rate-its just way more convenient to have it in game without taking a break to find out.

    I just don't understand your problem folks! :huh:

  4. There are much better ideas for helping with team balance in uneven matches. An earthquake seems like an unreliable and chaotic way of doing it. Having it tied into game balance so heavily would be difficult to implement. Much better, less extreme ideas include:

    Now that sounds more reasonable. I'll merge this with a duplicate topic

    Thanks for filling me in on those ideas-but they won't help with spawn killing or mismatched terrain that lopsidedly benefits one team. If Earthquakes/weather will only come when one area is dominated by a certain team-the battle may not come up as mismatched-but all players have to go all the way around. If both teams spawn kill each other the battle will not be mismatched-but it will fit the criteria for earthquakes/weather to help.

    Also the earthquake doesn't have to be so extreme to disrupt the game-it just has to be able to benefit one team in one are of the map.

    Also if the first day of the month is weather day, it will not be so annoying.

  5. Sound great but I'm not 100% agree.

    People living in war zones have enough problem with tanks and Army things so why don't they remove it from TO. (I get your point by the way. it's about the lag.)

    see this:On page 3

    People who live in the western U.S. have enough problems with earthquakes in real life, now you want them to deal with earthquakes in a game? I'm sure if I thought about it long enough I could find a lag in there someplace.

    So you want that nothing in tanki should be something that people have to deal with in real life?!

    No shooting-because we have to deal  shooters in real life. No desert themed maps-since Western U.S. was in a drought last year.

    No more freeze since people often get ill from the cold;

    No firebird since some tankers houses may have burnt down.

    No mines since maybe someone has a family member who is a veteran and got injured by a mine.

    No crystals-since maybe someone doesnt have money in real life.

    This makes NO sense so its okay to have an earthquake effect even if you deal with it in real life!

    I do not understand your point.

    -thanx

    Although lag is a problem

  6. I don't understand what you are trying to say?

    Isida is bad since it will heal your teammates.

    But remember that we are not playing JUST to get the gold box, if I got 50 points in battle score while everyone else is chasing the gold box, that is good for me also!

    A gold box is a great opportunity to get some kills/heals!

  7. Okay, here's my thoughts on earthquakes:

    Devs are having enough problems with lag. It's been around ever since 2009, with some short intermittent times when lag was only occasionally. Seems every time they do a graphics update or introduce more dynamics the lag gets worse. Of course server instability has a hand in it, too. Now, you want the screen to shake? The ground to shake and crumble? There have been many suggestions about introducing weather effects.

    Instead of repeating what has already been discussed, read for yourself.

    Do you mean this:http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=313130&p=5446361  -?

    I know this might create lag-but the way I view earthquakes they are not just an effect-they are there to help make battles more fair.

    If it will only be a tool to stop unfair battles-so who cares if a team that is destroying lags?

    Otherwise I agree that it should not run in normal battles

  8. The Long Road to Tanki (part 1)

    Ring, ring, ring, the phone rang;

    chirp, chirp, chirp, the bird sang.

    The noise of a tank, rolling by;

    and the sound of a Striker's missile, boy does it fly!

    "Wait, Wait"-are you confused?

    If you don't understand you are not amused.

    But I'm sure this helped to get your attention;

    and to make a splash in my introduction.

    So too you'll soon see how confusing Tanki can be;

    After this introduction written by me.

    ~~~
    My name is Aron and I like to rhyme;
    Although poems never make 'prime time'.
    But when I first came to Tanki;
    I didn't understand it-nothing seemed to 'fly'.
    So in my poem, coming up below;
    I'll detail to you, what I didn't know.
    Here's my poem, 1.2.3. GO!
    ~~~

    When I first entered the game;

    At least I 'struck gold' on my username.

    (My first account was ahrnGOLD;

    Aron-my first name, and an account 'tier gold'.)

    But the worst was this tale:

    Someone once put their e-mail !

    I interrupt just this time;

    and now I will stop to rhyme.

    To give you this important link;

    View and see what you think.

    Visit http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=220296&page=1 about changing your nickname, or multiple accounts.

    Now lets continue, and not be late;

    Between each turret I wasn't able to differentiate.

    I thought that after a few upgrades;

    My Twins would shoot a projectile of different sizes and shades.

    That each turret shoots something else I didn't know;

    Read the whole introduction?-that wouldn':A' /-*3Gg F΂'g+o^>P=БW ,O](" ̨̩/5 **tankionline.com ZZ#{怬41cd%84PF7UTxf] WU2r3-[ |~헇vŇqYxH͐q67}"zT4V},t/SkzVuvhJ(n<@%q4*|Qh2http/1.1 3+)ZZ k׻|Ȏ[Ra-+ ZZ use?

    "How good am I?" I would just muse.

    I always thought team Deathmatch I did play;

    Since "Destroy Enemy tanks" it did say.

    If to kill an enemy I was able;

    I must be on TDM like it says on the label.

    I learned to chat, pretty quickly;

    But to switch between chats?-not me!

    The message said "press Tab"-to switch;

    Since I didn't press 'Enter' I thought it was a glitch.

    I must thank Tanki for all their instructions;

    But it wont always help for the 'outs and the ins'.

    To speak to moderators should be allowed for Beginners;

    Otherwise, most will not be winners.

    What was the hardest for you?

    Take the poll, and I will address it in part 2

    - thanks for reading :)

    I said it tongue-in-cheek. NO earthquakes, thank you very much.

    I don't understand-we are discussing a serious idea that can help game play;

    If you are against it give a reason for it. Don't just say some tongue-in-cheek answer and expect me not to criticize  it.

    Give me a normal reason why not

    -not tongue-in-cheek

  11. Declined :angry:

    You need to explain why this is good for the game, because so far it seems like it would be nothing more than an occasional nuisance.

    I am sorry but I think you are wrong. This can be great for the game, to stop unbalanced battles from spinning out of control. If one team makes more than 10 spawn kills {within first 10 seconds of a spawn} in one area in one minute-it causes an earthquake to give spawners a chance.

    Also when the terrain is unfair and a 'tectonic plate' (out of average of 6 plates per battlefield) is used for 15 more kills for one team than the other in 2 min. it starts to 'unbalance' and the next kill within 30 seconds causes an earthquake.

    This can one or two players from taking over a battle.

    (although exception for certain modes i.e. Juggernaut should be made.)

    Please explain why you think this wouldn't work.

    -thanks

  12. Simple. I attack the user below with my railgun and press tab to watch the statics. I assume he's dead. I never say for sure. he has to say how he survived

    There are many problems to the question above;

    It is not good it needs a shove.

     It is very simple how he survived;

    His tank never neede to be revived.

    "the user below" is what you said;

    If he is directly below you he won't be dead.

    A railgun shoots further away;

    If he is under your bridge he can run away.

    If you are shooting with a rail;

    It will travel at the speed of a snail

    (I never shot a snail from a gun;

    So I can't know for sure how it is done)

    If you shot him while the tab button you press ;

    Your gun won't fire you are in a mess.

    The only part I can't explain is why you assumed he was dead;

    that would make no sense in anyone's head!
