    The stupidest sight in tanki today

    Didn't get to screenshot the chat because something happened that I had to close the game but here goes. Massacre ASL on the Red team. It's obvious that I'm not going to do well with Support Nanobots. I would just heal whoever is going to the flag and get whatever points I can. I spawn and am greeted to this. A Shooting Speed Regulator isn't really the best way to spend a Support Nanobots Isida but I went with it. So he started shooting all the way up to overheating and he wasn't stopping. I'm confused here. He must've thought he was an Incendiary Band Vulcan. We both died so I said in the chat: Me: General paton Me: Stop overheating We spawned close to each other again and the same thing happened again. When we were respawning, I said: Me: Stop overheating. You are not an Incendiary Band Vulcan. You are a Shooting Speed Regulator Vulcan. General-Paton: why???? Me: You are doing less damage Me: Didn't you read the patch notes? General-Paton: How I doing less damage? Me: All Vulcans deal 70% less damage when overheating. Stop overheating. General-Paton: Nothing I can do about that bro :P I immediately left him and healed my other teammates after seeing that reply. Even if he didn't read the Patch Notes, he would know that overheating with Vulcan is bad, especially if he didn't have Firebird protection. Heck, the ONLY turret he uses is Vulcan. He used it for what would be the entirety of his account's career. He's using an alteration that specifically makes it so that you can go longer WITHOUT overheating. Yet he chooses to overheat for whatever reason. I honestly didn't expect that from a Legend player, far less someone who only uses Vulcan to get up to that Legend rank.

  3. Exactly how fast does Wasp's bomb recharge? Because it seems as if these players have bombs to waste. I think they should remove the immunity but at least give them a lot of protection against their own bomb. I don't think it's the worst Overdrive since you can get charge for killing enemies with it.

    Now, I don't have this problem since I move my hull every time I'm reloading to pass the time. While I don't suffer from this, I would like it to be tweaked so Shaft users wouldn't suffer from it. What I really want them to fix is that bug where if you cancel a scoped shot before the minimum sniping damage, the next shot would deal the minimum sniping damage no matter the charge. That messes me up because I have to go into the scope, shoot and then wait for the energy bar to fill back and by that time, the enemy is already out of sight with my team's flag. Or even when I need the sniping mode to finish a close range enemy, I can;t because I'd be dealing 3x less damage because of that stupid bug.

    Where did you get those figures from? If the protection the dome gives is 85%, then M4 Thunder should deal between 111-153 damage. The only way the'll deal 190 damage is if the Thunder is using double damage while the layer under the dome has no supplies activated and the Thunder is out of the minimum damage range. Assuming that your figures are correct, you also have to take into consideration that M4 Titan has 2x more health than M0 Titan yet M4 Thunder deals almost close to 3x as much damage on average than M0 Thunder, not to mention that M4 Thunder has a much bigger range of minimum and maximum damage as as you said, less reload time.

    The number of kills and deaths you obtain is only counted from from the 1st of May to the 29th of May. If on your account's lifespan, you obtained 10,000 kills but between the 1st of may and the 29th of May, you obtained 100, then only the 100 kills will be counted towards the mission. The same thing applies to deaths. The number of times you die are only counted between the 1st of May and the 29th of May. As long as you obtain more kills than deaths, you should not have to worry. Just kill the propaganda players who go after the Juggernaut. The objective of the mode is to obtain the highest number of kills.

    3 simultaneous bombs can kill any M1 hull under the dome if they don't have double armour activated. . The dome gives 85% protection against it. 15% of 9,999 is 1,500. Two is enough to kill an M1 medium hull and 3 is enough to kill an M1 heavy hull.

    I only use Mammoth on the account that I'm talking about. I have Titan M1 as well but my Mammoth has 500 more health than my Titan.

    Those that I see usually play mid-field. They don't get in close. When I try to go up to them for them to receive splash damage, they see me and drive backwards swiftly with their Vikings. It's certainly effective. You can ask players whether or not Stock Striker or Uranium Striker is better. Of course, they may give you biased answers but it's what everyone recommends. Just like everyone recommends Sledgehammer for Thunder.

    Every Legend battle I join has at least one Uranium Striker on either team. I guess that's just me. I can't remember the last time I saw a Stock Striker.

    It's the only type of Striker used in the high ranks so yes, it is. The damage has remained the same so that 20% increase in reload doesn't stop you from one-shotting light hulls or medium hulls.

    That was what I was referring to when I said, "I had two things to post there recently but it was too much effort to avoid the problems with that thread." Clicking the text just to fix a mistake takes away the cursor and my ability to type. Clicking "Next Unread Topic" and "Back to game Discussion" doesn't work. The funny thing is, that post was what first alerted me to what was wrong. This is how that post looks for me and has always looked for me. I had thought you used some sort of format to get it like that. Maybe a day after @Nicola_M's post, I saw what was happening to the background. You also have a post at #588. Nicola's Post is transparent. Your post at #588 is about 15% transparent. Everything after that is jet black.

    I see no questions as dumb questions. What rank is the player. Do you remember their name? I'd hazard a guess and say that that person may have been grinding a new account and still had time on it if he was able to play with you. Another possibility may be that the player bought the battle pass and was able to earn enough stars from that battle to activate the premium obtained after completing Tier 8 or Tier 19. Perhaps the premium was immediately added and they was able to earn the bonus crystals with it while not showing his premium status on their rank.

    Yup, here we go again; the imbalance of having a fixed number throughout all tiers. Firebird Afterburn damage: destructive in the lower tiers as many players don't have protection against Firebird and their hulls have the lowest HP in the game. Not so destructive in the higher tiers as many players have considerable protection against it and their hulls have much great HP to endure it for longer. Wasp's Bomb: The charging rate is fixed. The timer is fixed. The damage is fixed. The blast radius is fixed. Hulls in the M0 and M1 tiers would not be able to escape it easily or even totally. They have less Hp which means if they do take damage, they'd most likely die as the amount of damage is probably 1.5% the health they have assuming they almost got out of the radius. Hulls int he higher tiers have more speed and can get out of there easier than the M0 and M1 tiers. They also have more health (up to 2x that of M0 hulls) and have better survivability a they have up to double the health M0 hulls have to withstand a small brunt of the blast. Having a fixed number throughout all tiers is something hard to balance. You have to make sure it's not totally destructive in the low tiers and not something that the higher tiers could potentially just shrug off. Making it dependent on the hull modification would be bad since buyers would have an advantage over casuals in Overdrives. I'm sure you wouldn't want that, would you?

    Opened 5 together. I got: 3,500x Crystals 125x Double Damages 100 Of All Supplies x 2 10x Gold Boxes Pretty good considering I was grinding battles with the 3 days of premium I got from that previous containers.

    Overdrives are here!

    It is if you're using the right turret. A Firebird or a Freeze is great with it but not really a Vulcan or maybe an Isida. It also depends on how many and which supplies you have active or ready to use. Same for Viking. Melee turrets don't seem to be doing good with Viking's Overdrive while projectile turrets are doing insanely well compared to the melee turrets. It seems as if Overdrives shape what turret we are to use now and it was bad enough that they shaped what hull we had to use.

    The protection modules does not decrease how frozen a tank can get. It just increases the time it takes to reach minimum temperature. The same thing with Firebird; protection modules increase the time it takes to reach maximum temperature. When you used to play with incendiary Band with your 20% Firebird module, did you notice that when you stopped, you received almost 10 ticks of afterburn damage? That is the thing. It took you longer to reach that point but you still reached it. If I remember correctly, protection modules (years ago) used to limit how frozen or ignited a tank was. A tank with 50% Firebird protection could have only been ignited for 50% of maximum temperature at most and nothing higher. The same thing for Freeze back then. A tank with 50% Freeze protection could have only been frozen for 50% of minimum temperature. And I still see Freezes doing great against protection in Legend battles. I see Freezes killing enemies with 50% Freeze protection by themselves while I watch them on. It is not useless and it is no wonder why many players buy Freeze Kits (mostly the Siberian Kit though). Freeze is strong and there is no doubt about that. Whether it is too strong or not is up for debate.

    For a now fast-paced game, 10-15 seconds is way too much. People would just curse the Hunters when they get stunned. It never did on the real servers. It just disabled the mammoth's supplies and activated its supplies' cooldowns. The immortality effect is still there. The same thing goes for Viking's Overdrive. When stunned, the Overdrive's effect is still there. I'm not sure about Hornet though but I'm pretty sure Hornets still retain their active Overdrive just like Vikings and Mammoths.

    I only realised this when I saw a few of them in one battle. The players who buy the Siberian Kit in the Shop at Sergeant-Major have a HEAVY against the other players in Juggernaut mode. I was always thinking that maybe I'd be powerful since my M1 equipment is almost M2 at WO2 but these players already have an M2 Turret (and posisble M3) meaning they're doing a lot more damage than I am. Assuming they have a few upgrades on the turret, these players are one-shotting M1 Vikings. If they have the Freeze at M3, these players can one-shot any heavy hull that isn't close to 10/10 upgrades. This is bogus and Freeze is a very effective weapon. No wonder I see them dominating as the Juggernaut, getting kill after kill on every shot. Didn't realise I typed that in the Let's Discuss Matchmaking Thread. This is why we have to be careful of giving Juggernaut too much health and damage. We already have players doing this; Safari was the first Juggernaut in that battle and he died when he reached 43 kills. He then obtained it a bit later and ended the battle.

    Juggernaut seems to be filled with 'em. I had a Red Alert Assault Battle where 6 of the 8 enemies were Wasps. There were 3 Wasps on my team and bombs were just going off everywhere. In Juggernaut, you're not even safe to stay still because if a Wasp comes up from behind while you're occupied, you would notice the bomb when it reaches 2 or 1 and by that time, it's too late to drive away. The majority of Juggernaut deaths I've seen these days were by Wasp bombs.

    I do believe that is is too powerful right now but you also have to wonder if it does reasonably well when going up against protection modules. In Legend battles, would it be worth it to use Freeze if half of the enemy team has 50% protection against you? That is what you should ask yourself when you think a turret is imbalanced. I would like Freeze's damage to be decreased because it does deal a lot of damage and I see it half-team wiping in many battles.

    Did you buy the Booster Drone recently (within the past week)? You should have waited until the 10th and in that time, you should have asked if it was worth it. I don't think all players would properly understand how the damage increase of the supply works with the drone. For perspective, 200% (20/20 upgrades) directly doubles the damage you do. I'm using figures from pre-balance change Shaft: M4 Heavy Capacitors Shaft did 3,900 damage for a fully charged shot. With double damage (0%; no drone equipped), it did 7,800 damage. At 200% (20/20 upgrades), it did 15,600 which is exactly double what 0% (7,800 damage) was. So to try to understand it better, the damage from 0% to 200% is exactly the same as 1 to 2 or 1,000 to 2,000; it equals to exactly double the damage without the drone. So we should calculate it linear to that. Since I don't have the drone or the crystals and time to accurately test this out, I'd hazard a guess that for M4 Heavy Plasmagun Twins (I assumed you were using that alteration), the damage range for it with a 0/20 Booster drone would be 643-743 . With a 20/20 Booster Drone, the damage range would be 1028-1188.
