  1. Nothing is completely fair. YouTube is not fair because it favours popular creators who can afford spending a lot of money on their videos. Gaming is not fair because people with better PCs can perform better. The internet is not fair, because people from poor background can't have access to it or it's really slow. The world is jot fair either. So it's not worth it to uave these all? Imo playing a 1v1 battle would be worse than playing a battle against stronger enemies. None of them are good, that's certainly true, but when the devs had to choose, they probably did the researched and came to the conclusion that the 2nd option is better. The thing is, no matter what system we have, the chanxe of loosing will ALWAYS be 50%. Actually a bit higher due to the fact that if one team has tank advantage for a long time, it'll probably win, thus, more players win than lose in general. Obviously the algorithm will be different,as now it will have to deal with bots, which requires changes. So if they make it well, you shouldn't face more than like 5 rank difference after that. Yes. I highly doubt that any significant number of players leave due to matchmaking. This is a 14 year old gamey so there are surely ones leaving due to the simple fact that now they're adults and don't have time\want to play video games in any significant amount. There are also people who got bored of the game and want something different. You can't do anything about these two if you are a dev, what you should do is get new players. This step is clearly missing from TO. The other major reason is the lack of equipment balance. It's hard to enjoy a battle where most players use OP agments, if you don't join them you won't be able to compete, and even if you do so, TTK will be too low to be enjoyable.
  2. 1 i'm not a moderator 2 i can't pass it on 3 i'm not a tanki employee
  3. Bruh. So let me explain it once again. Just because i'm saying that it's better to have MM instead of not having one doesn't mean that i'm saying MM is fair. Never said that, it looks like you just want to understand my posts like that. I saw your posts, but didn't reacted to it, because MM does that already. The way it works is that it first matches the players from a small rank bracket (like 3-4 ranks), but if there aren't enough players aviable to make the battle, it expends the search for other ranks. You can't make that to work better. Also, the map size is also dependant on the number of players: it only chooses big maps if there are enough players for them. However, at thisbpoint there's no reason to make ideas to fix this, as I've mentioned it previously: bots are coming to low ranks exactly to solve this problem. So i don't see the point of arguing about this 'fault' of MM.
  4. Then again, good luck making a battle with 2-3 ranks difference when there are 4 people from WO ranks queueing at that time. Inequality was there even more back in PRO battles. There were countless rooms dieing out because one team was outpreforming the other and it was just a spawn killing game.
  5. Just because saying that it's better to have laws than having no laws doesn't mean that i say that the laws are always fair.
  6. Nope. Exploitation is for example, where you make a PRO battle and join with your alts to do your missions. 1v1 island is a complete normal battle if there wouldn't be MM.
  7. I didn't meant exploitation. It's just simply the fact the missions, especially the special missions can't be balanced so that they are as easy to complete in a 1v1 island battle as in a 20v20 berlin battle.
  8. And then at 2am at low ranks there will be 1v1 battles. There's an other solution to that, and that is, the addition of bots to low ranks, which is what tanki is working on.
  9. Almost all modern games use MM. This is how you can make missons and rewards fair. This is the path, Tanki followed it and there's no problem with that.
  10. This is not a bug, rather the fact that there are not enough players in that category at that time. This is not the job of the MM system, so it's not causing this. The only thing that this system does is creating battles depending on several factors, and distributing the players into teams.

    Let's Discuss Containers!

Oh yeah i mixed up the 1K reward with the price, my bad. But this doesn't really matter as it turns out that i was wrong in this one as well so in total your profit won't really change

    Let's Discuss Containers!

When the new containers and the 80% discounted offer appeared in the shop, i monitored my profit from containers for about two months. It turned out to be positive, and they explanation is simple: you are guaranteed to get a rare every 15 containers. Even if you get 1K crystals all the time, you have 100% chance to get 10K from the forced rare container (thanks to @Akame and @TheCongoSpider for the info), so your income from 30 containers is 48000 crystals, and the crystals you've spent is ~1250*30=37500. That's 10500 profit. Yeah, sure, you can get supplies instead of 1K, or if you get a not forced rare it might not be crystals but you'll also get 3K and occasionally 25K, so in the end you'll have like 5K profit for 30 conts, thus it's surely a good idea to buy that container.
  13. Beside what Maf said, freeze can already put out your fire and firebird can unfreeze you, but almost no one does that. It's not a well known mechanic, plus why would you teammate run to you to 'waste' (in his POV) his energy on you without getting battle score?

If you mean online players, then it's just a coincidence.
  15. They won't get a better score. They get 10 points for capturing and 5 points for neutralizing the point in any ways. Staying there actually helps them, as battle fund increases more with more points.
  16. I don't think reducing the speed of heavy tanks would solve the issue, they are already pretty slow. However, critical damage could receive its damage nerf as well.
  17. If you read this carefully, this is about something completely else ( as far as I see, it's about sneakers. I doubt that you can use those in tanki). To make an actual bot playing tanki, you'd need to host it (which costs money), code it (which is really hard, as it's basically making an AI) and make it able to connect to tanki as a player. This is a task that only few people (<50) could do in the community, and even if it's done, it's not guaranteed that theycll be able to successfully connect to TO servers. Plus, it'd cost so much money, time and resources that the creator will never benefit from it, it woud be easier and more rewarding if he just plays themselves.
  18. That'll probably come this year with the new mobile app. Indeed, but these features do arrive after some time. They don't forget about them, but if something is not urgent, then they'll focus on more important stuff first. However, adding bots probably is urgent, as low ranks can be pretty empty at non-peak times.
  19. Not quite. But they do plan to release bots in MM.
  20. The problem with this, as your example already demonstrates it, is that many damage numbers and alteration stats are designed for the current health system. Thus, buffing the hull health would also mean an almost complete rebalance. So in my opinion, it'd be better to adjust the things that shortened the TTK (time to kill) significantly: legendary augments. These were introduced as elite and overpowered ones, and now they became common, causing a pretty huge issue. So in my opinion, these augments should receive real disadvantages, and shouldn't use the template of epic augments, and then both TTK would be fixed and turrets with no or few legendary alterations would preform better as well. Legendaries should be just something that adds a special effect or makes significant changes to a turrets behavior, not something that's better than any other augments.

How are you supposed to finish in the top 3?

I disagree. I come to the TOP-3 like 70% of the time, it's easy with proper gameplay and equipment. (I'd like to mention that i don't use any buyer like equipment which is locked vehind UCs). That mission is very luck dependent indeed. If you carry enough you can win thuogh.

How are you supposed to finish in the top 3?

You can view it from hat point. But here's an other POV: you are recruit. You play against recruits. Everyone has 0 GS. You complete all daily and weekly missions, get crystals and supplies. You spend all your crystals on upgarding brutus, reach 100% supply power quickly and you also have a good equipment. With this model, you'll be the one with the 8K GS, as it is possible to reach it as early as possible if you only spend crystals at upgarding (at sales). This used to be that way. Now, actually, as you said, you technically have a negative gain per battle, because you spend more crystals as supplies than you get back at the end of the battle. This negative gain can be changed by adding the reward of the daily and weekly missions, plus special and challanges. However, if you play more battles than needed to complete the missions, you gain less technically than if you stop playing when you completed them. This is to avoid player grinding which will result in a less playtime on the long go than continuous, daily playing. Smart design, all i can say. So then again, what you should do is, only use as many supplies as you have, don't buy more. Complete all missions every day, and stop playing once you did them. After you got crystals from containers, because now that's the main source of income, upgrade brutus and your equipment at tankers day.

How are you supposed to finish in the top 3?

Now that's the problem. You should try to use as many supplies as many you get from weekly and daily missions, special missions and challanges. If you complete all of these, you can surely get around 200 of each supply per week, which should be enough. Buying supplies for you is the worst idea possible, as you don't get full power from the because of your drone level, and on a long term, upgarding equipment is more benefical. Maybe if you would never have bought supplies, you would be among those 8K GS players (though i don't know, what's your rank).
