Tanki players are not that smart

It doesn't work that way in my opinion... I think that only if you fully commit to play a game then you would choose to spent money on the game. I don't have 1000 hours to play this game, neither do free-2-play players, I think the only players with 1000+ hours to play are buyers.

    Ideas for Turrets!

They made the wrong buff. They needed to slightly buff damage but greatly increase the freezing rate.

Well you guys are kind of forcing us to get wrecked and play miserably through gameplay. It is a rant. But not against buyers. I'm trying to point out that Tanki is soooo pay-2-win right now that no free-2-play player can enjoy it anymore.

Tanki Picture of the Day - Have any?

I think I set the record for most points for free-2-play player in a 10 minute battle. Edit: And I think the match didn't even last a full 10 minutes...

Tanki players are not that smart

Before I begin my little rant, I would like to say that I have nothing against buyers and it's your own choice to buy. I am just here practicing what I preach and preaching what I practice. Dude, why did you spend money on a supply package in the shop when you could just spend some crystals in the garage for the same supplies. The war going is on a pretty lame excuse... you clearly don't play enough to even have your D/L qualify and contribute to your team (considering how you didn't finish your supplies before) It's your own fault that your hull fell behind (i would have started a new account) because clearly, you didn't spend your crystals wisely. And... anyways... who cares if your hull fell behind? Just play the game and upgrade your hull, which is very easy to do now-a-days compared to back then. Listen, kid, it's not about buying what you want or what you need. It's about how idiotic it is to SPEND MONEY ON SOMETHING YOU COULD GET FOR FREE. OK, go ahead, I'm ok with you spending money on the next Call of Duty game because you actually need to spend money to get it in the first place. You don't need money to play TO. You could be perfectly fine being a free-2-play player. This is also very different from your going down the store to buy something you want. Tanki Online is a VIRTUAL REALITY, EVERYTHING YOU DO HERE DOESN'T HELP YOU IN REAL LIFE. If I wanted to eat a bag of chips, my in-real-life hunger would be gone. If I wanted to spend money on crystals, my virtual desire for a better turret in a virtual game would be gone... which one matters more? Anyways, your fidget spinners example, I see that differently. I think kids buy fidget spinners because one ***** kid started doing it and everyone wanted to be "cool" and "fit in". You, sir, are just like this. You just want to be like everyone else who plays the game. That is probably why you decided to buy crystals. Anyways, it's shocking how different the player base of TO has become in the 5 years I've played this game. 5 years ago, you were supposed to attack buyers simply because they wanted to buy. Now, I guess the only players left in the player base are buyers... and that is why I'm receiving so much backlash.

Yes. Exactly. I don't know why you would need a supply kit, when missions are basically giving out thousands of them for free... plus, it seems that you are trying to imply that you have barely bought, but bloody hell, you spent at least 60 dollars (please correct me if this amount is wrong) on TO, a game that doesn't even care for its own players!

    Post your in-game TO Gifts

i want a blue sphere :( the best gift i ever got was a chimichanga that i sent from my other account :(

New TO Mobile invites are out!

    RIP iOS users
  12. Can any of you guys tell if I'm exaggerating a statement? -_- That said, only about 0.5% of the player base above Marshal has never spent any penny on the game... maybe even less.

Tanki players are not that smart

No, we are not jealous. We just are complaining because TO is rewarding idiots for thinking that it is a good idea to spent IRL money on a virtual reality. I'm upper-middle class IRL, and I still choose to play the game free. I'm 100% happy that I am able to get to this rank without spending a cent, while others are dependent on the usage of 500 dollars a month to be able to get where I am.

    Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

I think that allowing players to save up supplies early on but they are denied from using any except for Overdrive until Warrant Officer 1 is a good idea. Back in the old days, not a single player drugged before that rank. Also, I think alternate accounts are whats killing tanki because they just absolutely wreck everyone else.
  15. I would like to discuss how useful this I&S section is at doing its job. I've seen only once or twice the developers actually implement something that originated from the I&S section. This is from my own account, but I would like to ask Maf or BlackWasp how many times have our ideas actually be implemented? The developers seem to be only interested in their opinions and this section is just a place for players to go so they won't annoy the devs...

Tanki players are not that smart

Well I'm pretty sure they just don't want to get fired. The devs basically set up "mods" as puppets so players will be satisfied if a mod tells them something.

Post Deleted. I decided it way too offensive :P.

Then I guess @tank40 was also a tanki mod.
  19. The term "Drugger" has already been retired. Everyone is a drugger, no one complains in the chat about drugging. Simple. The "Buyer" slur is almost dead, because everyone is a buyer now. It will die once I leave the game, because I am the only f2p player left in this game that's above Major :( A lot of people forget that buyers not only are able to purchase paints (which don't do much), but they can still purchase crystals, have 50% protection against all your turrets, and have better stuff than you do. They also rank up quicker and gain more crystals. I'm pretty sure "Griefer" is the same thing as "Mult" or what you mean by that "Vulcan-Mammoth Dude" who just annoys the asflabqofjqefjfpmx,vn out of you. Not sure which one you mean. I think you should add "Grinder". It's the guy who plays pretty much everyday, completes all the missions, does not spend a single cent and is constantly waiting for sales. That's me. This term is almost dead.

Matchmaking is not creating more even battles

The point is, that it did not create an even battle. The TO devs believe that efficiency is a good enough scale to show how good player is, so they sort players into teams in battles by efficiency rating. Obviously, it didn't. Efficiency is solely based off of Crystals/EXP. If you get no crystals because you left the battle, it will plunge.

Hold my beer... it takes time getting used to being so OP when you begin buying?
  22. sensei_tanker

Tanki players are not that smart

Now, I think EVERYONE who plays this game is as sharp as a balloon. Buyers are dumb, simply because they spend money on a free game, which has no benefits IRL. Non-Buyers/Grinders are dumb for simply investing time in a buyer's game.
  23. sensei_tanker

Tanki players are not that smart

Well, obviously. If anyone is willing to spend real life money on a game they could play for free, they are not the sharpest tool in the shed. And now 99.9% of TO are buyers, practically everyone is dumb.
