I use both of these features all the time. The minimap is very useful as a "rear view mirror," especially for players who play without sound or having hearing impairments. I've won many a 1v1 engagement because I was able to tell exactly when an enemy moved out of cover on the minimap. Being able to move the camera independently of the turret is also very useful when moving backwards and simultaneously firing at an enemy in front, or when checking peripherals while using a turret with slow rotation speed. In my opinion ignoring both of these features puts you at a disadvantage.

Who is going to play such a terrible game on consoles when there are so many much better options? At least the mobile market is already flooded with garbage and by comparison TO mobile is not so bad, but that's not the case with consoles. -
Well, you wanted an update.
-
It's not in the game.
-
You need to enable the "Show dust and shell casings" graphics option.
-
Overall the new design looks fresh, but light-coloured text on a light blue background is hard on the eyes; more contrast would be better.

It seems he is expressing frustration over Ricochet/Wasp taking an OD box despite already having OD charged.

HD skins are simply replacements for the current lower quality skins - they are not a separate skin series akin to XT or Ultra. Hopper, Crusader, and Ares never had any "low quality" skins to replace in the first place, so there was no reason to mention anything.
-
The skins for Hopper, Crusader, and Ares are already "HD" by default.

Weekly missions reward you with a substantial number of stars, so I would not say they are obsolete. Weekly containers also offer a steady supply of crystals and supplies, making them quite useful for lower ranked players.

In theory it should. A GTX1650 will be able to run games far more demanding than TO at high framerates. However, you may not get the performance you expect from TO because the game seems to have optimization issues. I have a GTX960M (much weaker than a 1650) and an i5-6300HQ and in empty matches, I get 200-400 FPS on maximum settings, depending on the size of the map. But I've found that TO seems to be bottlenecked by something network-related; in matches with a lot of players system resource usage decreases and FPS drops, sometimes below 60. This is not a hardware but rather a software issue.

This is only in the worst case scenario, not the average case. CR, while probably the best Smoky augment to use in CTF/RGB/ASL, is balanced because it does not cause the enemy to drop the flag/ball, unlike PR. PR is not an offensive augment. It doesn't matter if the tank survives after being hit or not; the important thing is that it drops a flag/ball after being hit which allows for a return. It doesn't need to be able to stun multiple enemies, just the flag/ball carrier. That's my problem with it. Experienced Smoky players can control their crits to a certain extent. You can "charge" your crit by hitting a few standard shots on random enemies, after which all you have to do is hit the flag/ball carrier a few times, get a stun, and return the flag/take the ball. It doesn't even matter if the flag/ball carrier has Defender and/or a 50% module because you don't have to kill them. -
This is what I suspect, but I would like some official numbers.
-
The patch notes say that the "critical shot chance spreads from 0.2 to 0.4 for all modifications." Any information about that?

Being able to stun a tank on the other side of the map is not balanced by any stretch of the imagination. Currently only Hunter and Hopper can stun tanks, and even then only at short ranges and only after charging their ODs for a while. Damage doesn't matter when facing enemies with Defender and 50% protections; at any rate it's not an augment intended to increase damage output. A PR Smoky can simply focus a flag carrier and will eventually be guaranteed to get a stun. A team with multiple PR Smokies in CTF/RGB/ASL would be a nightmare. After playing a while with Smoky you get a feel for how often crits happen and you can often strategically choose which targets will receive a critical hit. EMP Rounds is not as OP as EMP Salvo but still completely unbalanced. Just because immunities exist does not mean many players have them. Is EMP Salvo balanced just because EMP Immunity exists? Is Incendiary Band balanced just because Heat Immunity exists? Is AP Shaft balanced just because AP Immunity exists? -

EMP Rounds is basically EMP Salvo 2.0. Paralyzing rounds are also ridiculous; they allow stunning an enemy at range, which is a completely new ability (Hunter and Hopper can only stun enemies at short range). While I don't consider Sorted Ammunition to be OP, it can be used quite effectively by good players. -

Not particularly thrilled with the update. Introduction of projectile and reduction of critical hit rate constitute an unnecessary nerf to Smoky, which is strange given that turrets which are much more deserving of a nerf (Gauss) have remained untouched. New Smoky augments are OP and will be infuriating to fight against, just like Gauss EMP. The HD skin looks atrocious. Expansion of players in battle to 12v12 on "large" maps (which are really closer to being medium-sized than large) is a terrible change. With many players strategy goes out the window, chaos abounds, and game performance takes a hit. Shards and 6v6 on smaller maps are positive changes though. -
The next week or so is going to be terrible for Smoky players. The developers have hyped up Smoky (new skin, augments, missions) so that players start using Smoky protection, while simultaneously nerfing the critical hit rate and introducing a projectile that reduces effectiveness at range. I would really appreciate it if the popularity of one piece of equipment or another would stop being artificially inflated through events such as these. The quality of matches decreases significantly.

Funny how some players complain about Crusader's engine sound and it gets instantly changed, but the horrible sounds which completely lack any higher frequencies have remained untouched for years.
-
It is worth remembering that crystals earned from battles were effectively halved last fall.
-
Not too keen about an augment that turns a turret into an aimbot.
