If you think so, what's the point of putting up Jugger and Terminator up for sale?

    An insight into toxic updates

Models and textures in TO and TX are not even remotely similar. Compare a standard TX building and the exact same thing in TO - the TX version has far more detail. If you play the game on high settings, you will notice that the windows actually reflect the surrounding world. Only Silence and Kungur in TX are comparable to their TO counterparts in terms of layout and artstyle. Even then, consider that each texture in TX is composed of multiple layers, is applied to a material, and the final appearance is modified by a number of shaders. It should be noted that the visual appearance of both games has little to do with the actual code.
  5. I feel it would be pretty boring. Everyone would just crowd around the Juggernaut or camp from a distance and shoot at it over and over and over again.

    Math

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "unique derivatives?" If you mean that they are can't be obtained using chain/quotient/product/ rules etc, it should be noted that those rules are "shortcuts" - generalizations of the steps in which you determine the instantaneous rate of change and technically not the steps themselves.

    Shadows optimization

All shadows in Tanki are dynamic. It makes me wonder if a system for compiling maps with pre-rendered shadows was not an option given Tanki's engine.

    Science

Some flat-earthers have an interesting counter-argument. They hold that the flat Earth is constantly accelerating upwards at 9.8m/s2, and since the effects of gravity and constant acceleration are indistinguishable, the phenomena we attribute to gravity are produced. Of course, other implication arise. How fast must the flat Earth be traveling if it has been accelerating 9.8m/s2 for all these years? Why is it that the strength of gravitational attraction is different at different parts of the Earth?

How do I make Smoky Viable? - Please Help

I think it's best as a conservative opportunist. Be aggressive when your enemies are distracted, but play it safe when they are alert or you are facing continuous fire turrets.

    An insight into toxic updates

I don't see how allowing players to create battles with a few custom settings introduces a large number of variables. At worst, there might be uneven server load. Look how many problems MM has compared to the old system. I think it only requires more work than before to keep things running smoothly. TX and TO do not have remotely the same code. One runs on Unity engine, the other on Flash player. These platforms are completely different.

... TO graphics have detail . . . no. This is a no. I can understand TX having an unpalatable art style, but in terms of graphics quality it is miles ahead of TO.

How do I make Smoky Viable? - Please Help

With Smoky it is important to land as many shots as possible while taking as few in return. Flank your enemies, use your impact force (cannot stress this enough) to knock off their aim, and wait for criticals. Against turrets with slow reload you can be more aggressive. Abuse cover (pop-out, pop-in) when facing turrets with continuous fire, and run away if necessary. The best situation a Smoky player can find themselves in is shooting a distracted opponent at mid-range.
  17. Playing light hulls requires a different mindset than playing any other hull. I played with Wasp back when it was a two-shot for Thunder. Fun times. I died a lot, but the old Wasp had insane speed which skilled player could do interesting thing with. I dislike that the current Wasp is so slow to accelerate, even if it has more health. Yet I have seen some players play very effectively with it anyway - but again, their playstyle is very different from your standard medium hull play. It's a lot more specialized than other hull classes, and in this respect I think light hulls are fine. Wasp needs a speed buff / acceleration buff though.

What is Your Favourite Tanki Online Mode?

Currently Rugby. Then again I haven't entered the game in over a month.
  19. If this idea is copying TX, TX has copied practically every multiplayer game with a matchmaker in existence.
  20. ASL would be balanced if there were maps designed specifically for it. The mode was clumsily forced onto existing maps, with no changes, so it doesn't work well.

Yes. You can find out more about it in vlog 136:
  22. Winrate will not be an accurate statistic as long as players can join and leave battles freely.
  23. Better graphics won't fix the game.

At least to Bronze league. Training league is full of bots. There are still some in Bronze too I think. Gives light hulls a place. Often in TO flanking is somewhat unrewarding. You fire one shot and immediately the enemy knows your position and probably kills you. In TX you get more out of careful positioning - light hulls are rewarded more for flanking and heavy hulls punished more for being out of position. There's also a slight skill element to it, in TO you can shoot anywhere at the tank, in TX you need to aim a little to do max damage. Shaft does full damage only on shots to the turret, for example.
