Small correction - after destroying an enemy tank, critical chance becomes negative. So for the next two shots you will not get a crit. Sorry - edit: after a critical hit the critical chance becomes negative, not after destroying a tank.

Devs whine about game balance? That's new. Regardless, the current plan to differentiate hulls of the same class from each other is to give each hull a unique Overdrive. Wasp, for example, will be able lay a bomb, while Hornet gets a lame Overdrive, the ability to see through walls. In my opinion this is a poor way to balance things, but alas.

I recommend Northerner. Smoky M2 is a good generalist and the protection module is nice too, 25% Thunder protection.

https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldofTanks/comments/8iv9nl/been_playing_for_5_years_in_a_top_3_clan_on_na/dyv8iks/ This is about World of Tanks. But it applies very well to Tanki Online too. Less players does not mean the game is dying. People have been saying the game is dead/dying for years. It is true, Tanki's peak has come and gone. But here we still are.

No one will play TO on consoles. Mobile development and HTML5 are being worked on simultaneously, because mobile version runs on HTML5.

What will?

Pretty much building the game from the ground up on a new platform is a desperate attempt? It's an ambitious project, not a desperate attempt.

PM-ed a battle mod about that account, they expressed no interest whatsoever.
-
It got nerfed a couple years ago, and rightfully so.

I don't use Rico very much so I don't know.

Maximum splash damage radius for Unstable Plasma is 7m, for Thunder it is 12m. Honestly I don't think it's worth it.
-
Drones are not necessarily future Overdrives. Drones on the test server have three upgrade steps that don't seem to make a huge difference.

That would really defeat the point of the current hull classes. By equipping "stronger armor plates" you could make your Viking into a Hunter.

They are not identical. Wasp is far more unstable, prone to rocking, has very bad acceleration, is faster, and makes tight turns. Hornet is much more responsive, slower, more stable, and is prone to drifting. In my opinion Hornet is far better. You can say Wasp is faster on paper, but in practice the poor acceleration really negates that speed advantage.

That would be a very unpopular move. It was done some time ago and many players disliked it.

I'm not talking about Russian bias, I am talking about lack of realism. Two jet fighters at something like 400-500 kph ram into a wooden biplane but nothing happens. Physics in the game is completely ridiculous, especially when it comes to tanks, which jump around, clip through things, etc. What was skilled about the T-44 putting a shot into an immobilized Jagdtiger at pretty much point blank range? That's not the point though. Jagdtiger's upper casemate is 250mm effective, at that range T-44 can at best penetrate 230mm. And not only does he penetrate, but also sets the engine on fire even though the shot was nowhere near the engine. It turns out there were some lines in the code that made it so certain tanks could catch on fire even if the shot did not damage or the shrapnel went nowhere near the engine. Which tanks were these? Pretty much all Germans. Here is a post about it. Here is another video of a similar thing happening - AA shoots Ferdinand from the front and causes engine fire. It's allegedly fixed now, but the fact that it was in the game for years does not help reputation. I'm not bashing on War Thunder, I'm just saying it's far from the "most realistic game in the world." Even if all the bugs and such were fixed, it would still be far from the level of realism that say, simulators offer.

I'm old school. I don't need no fancy key combinations, just a good 'ol brick over the spacebar. Simple.

You can't have 1000s of friends because the limit is 300.

Not sure why BP equipment is necessary.

They are completely different, but in such a way that one is far worse than the other.

The same goes for anyone facing 45% protection against their turret . . .

It's pretty easy to tell. Generally, if a kit has an M2 protection module, it's all M2. If it has an M3 protection module, it's all M3. The only exceptions to that rule are Osaka and Siberian kit, which are hybrid M1 / M2 kits, and some beginner's kits which no one cares about.

Here is the Electra paint, for example: https://www.filterforge.com/filters/6619.html
