Yeah, it's why I never capture flags on Dusseldorf. I just play on it cause it's the one map where Gauss significantly performs less good than it normally does.

The game is still "playable", because....you can still go to google, look up tankionline, and load and play the game XD But yes, the gameplay itself is....more or less unenjoyable given the fact you get one-shotted easily by buyers or the hordes of Viking overdrive users at the high ranks.... Tanki is underwhelming because everywhere I look, there's a grammar mistake in some equipment's description, the new features (like Supercharge and Armor Piercing) look very cheaply made, the new graphics are...."oversimplified" (such as the images for Shards when you compare it to the original graphics for crystals and tankcoins), thery developers use a basic font type for the game, the overdrive effects are LAME (they're just gif images for the Hunter, Viking, Hornet, and Mammoth effects lol), new hulls look ugly, music soundtrack is dull, buttons are glitchy (at least for me), etc, etc. And why does the EMP effect remove supplies? I always thought an EMP effect would stun tanks, given the fact that EMPs in real life....disable mechanical items. And at this point, 95% of the "OP" augments and equipment are unattainable for free players. In fact, last year, the only "premium" things I ever managed to obtain without needing to purchase the battle pass was Ricochet's Super Smart Minus Field Augment.....and the crappy 10 Coinboxes drop which only gave me like 100 tankcoins at the most. So if the same luck continues this year, free players will probably only manage to get one premium item from the so-called "ultra containers" a year.

Agreed. Lets hope it doesn't become a cash-grab and have some premium skins and alterations associated with it.

Not enough ?

Do some players really think some outcomes from drones are cheats?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Alklines in Archive
I agree....they are cheats. Or rather, "Legal hacks" as I call them.... Especially the Lifeguard Drone....it's basically an "invincibility" hack. -
Because 4 missiles with 50% increased damage is overpowered...and with no drawback to the lock on.... There was no reason to buy Striker's Missile Launcher Cyclone alteration if Uranium did essentially the same thing but it could lock on much faster than Cyclone did.

Be careful what you wish(ed) for.

Titan is FAR SUPERIOR to Mammoth in almost every way! They have the same exact hitpoints.... But Titan is faster Titan is more maneuverable Titan's overdrive is much more useful Mammoth's overdrive is super easy to avoid. Just run from it. By the time you finally get close, the enemies would've sniped you away. Titan on the other hand, becomes godmode with it's shield.......AND ITS TEAMMATES.

I think Incendiary Band sounds cool enough for now. At least it's not as generic as something like "Incendiary Rounds". Only Smoky gets that name. Not stuff like........Railgun.
-
The main reason why I dislike the current overdrives is because they are unfun Meaning, every time I respawn, if I constantly get one-shot by a Viking or something like that, it's not fun at all. And who thought Titan blocking 90% damage for it and it's teammates was fun?
-
To be honest, unless you're a veteran skilled player in the low ranks, you won't be getting too many easy kills with Hammer and Railgun in order for these Alterations to be super effective. And as for Death Herald, especially, there's a low chance you'll find an enemy close enough so you can instantly discharge your shot. Most of the time, with Railgun, I usually attack one person at a time and because of this, there is no one nearby or in my line of sight. And if there's no one nearby, there's no real reason to instantly reload a shot if you're not gonna use it anyway. And if there are multiple enemies, most of them would probably be obscured behind cover anyway or they shoot me and knock off my aim. Death Herald is mainly only useful for battles where enemies group up, aka, Defending team in Assault and Siege. However, I doubt killing the groupers in Siege is easy cause most of the time, they'd be under a Titan dome that blocks all of your damage. While Adaptive Reload doesn't work very good if your enemies use a repair kit and prevent your Hammer from three-shotting them. You also gotta worry about your teammates stealing your kill cause if they do, Adaptive Reload has nothing to feed on to work. So I feel like the "small" drawbacks to these alterations are good enough. These alterations mainly depend on your skill and chance. You need to outplay your enemy or you make sure your enemy doesn't self-destruct or get killed by a teammate in order to effectively use these alterations. Otherwise, you'd be stuck with reduced DPS versions of Hammer and/or Railgun.

I agree. I wish every year on Halloween, they release a new Demonic Skin (although since it's one a year, it will take 2 or 3 decades to finish).

Better than Discord -
And today, Stock Hammer sucks against High Capacity Ammo Clip Hammer, Adrenaline Hammer, and Armor Piercing Shot Hammer.

That was a few months ago. I'm Legend 6 now.

FunFact: You know a game is dying if they start using Marvel references in their game. Examples include: Fortnite Tanki

How much better- or worse- would the game be if there were no supplies.
Tanker-Arthur replied to CommanderTFR2346 in Archive
The game would be way better without supplies. Not only is everyone fighting on equal grounds - but we'd also get more 3500 crystal drops from containers which makes it easier to upgrade our equipment. Also, Drones won't exist. :) -
Things that need a nerf: Gauss: Nerf Everything. Magnum: Nerf the reload that occurs after you fire a shot that's charged to 100%. Shaft: Nerf maximum sniping damage so that it is exactly the same damage as needed to destroy a medium hull. So Mk7+ Shaft will only do 3000 damage per sniping shot. Railgun: Revert it back to what it was before the lame Critical Damage Update. More on this below.... Isida: Reduce the damage. It's a unibeam of death. Hammer: Increase clip reload by about one second. Striker: Increase the reload back to what it was before 4/23/2021. Also remove the critical hit's ability to do double damage. Firebird, Freeze, Isida, Hammer, Twins, Ricochet, Striker, Vulcan, Thunder, Railgun, Magnum, Gauss, Shaft: Remove the critical hits and bring back the damage-spreads.

Ohhh okay. Thank goodness XD

So is Default Hammer better than Duplet then? XD

valid Public spectator mode to view a friend's perspective in battle
Tanker-Arthur replied to Aaron_plays in Ideas and Suggestions
How about a "proto-spectator" mode? Where you can only view the battle in the same perspective as the friend you're spectating is. You can't pan around the map freely, all you can see is your friend and the stuff that's near them.
