If cornering a Thunder is an option, it's gonna get cut short. Some Thunders are smart and will hit walls near you to avoid hitting themselves(like me, lol). So trying to run up in a Thunders face won't always work in an open space either, since some people tend to lay mines when that happens and if you don't see it... well you suffer the consequences. So you have to be smart when playing some people... we're not AI's that follow a pattern in a video game either, so develop your own tactics. ;)

Actually, Thunder is not as powerful as it once was. It's been nerfed. Isida is Stronger, Twins are OP'd, Thunder is like... 3-4th in Position. I used to be Thunder and Freeze were the strongest... but that's changed now... Rail I won't even talk about... I just don't use it, nor do I use Twins.

Oh yeah it does. I thought it had more :S Ignore what I said about Cedar then. But it is going to be tough fighting a Drugged M2 Thunder with Cedar... it packs quite a punch... unless you plan on Drugging back.

What is "Balanced" in your opinon? Obviously not what the weapons are like now, correct?

Oops. I don't know how this posted twice...

People always pick Hornet and Rail... it's not the best option in my opinion, since I use Thunder and Mammoth. I never have liked Railgun's reload state, because it renders you defenseless if you're out in the open. And Hornet... never liked the speed... "Speed kills" I say. I've seen a lot of crazy stuff happen to both Hornets and Wasps when they speed around the map trying to steal a flag or a few kills.If you're looking for something that's Stable in Speed and Power, Viking and Thunder is probably your best option, I have M1 right now, it's ok but not something I'm used to like Mammoth. I still plan to get Viking up to M2 when I can, just to get it up there, so it's my Secondary Hull. When it comes to Thunder, you've got the option of Splash Damage, rather effective in CP Matches(you hardly find tanks bunched up in one spot to make Splash Damage do it's work). But if you're taking on just one tank and he gets in your face... fire at the nearest wall... NOT the wall next to you, but try to angle your shots so that your enemy will take the most Damage from the hits, or just stand for a second... drop a Mine if you've got one and he'll learn not to get up close twice. And Thunder has good reload time, and again I still have M1, almost M2, but Thunder has always impressed me. As for Paints regarding Thunder Protection, for now I'd advise you with Cedar, but later on when you become a Major, Rustle will be your best option because eventually Cedar's 32% of Thunder Protection will almost be worth nothing, especially if you've got Drugging Thunders around. Which leads back to the Hulls, you'll need one that's got Decent HP. Hornet will certainly not give that to you. So, the choice is yours, I'm just expressing my Opinions and Encounters.
