    Good point, the duration is also really lengthy, another reason why the developers should tweak it. Although it does ignore protection modules, I would still recommend purchasing protection modules because not everyone uses hornet, and for the moments where the hornet's OD isn't activated, it helps and can come in clutch. That being said, if your F2P, you should prioritize upgrading your turret and hull.

    The analogy between striker and vulcan helps to understand the future update. Let's just hope that it makes vulcan not the least popular turret anymore. I would love to see it played more often.

    Yup, i use vulcan dictator and find it underrated. And yes, vulcan isn't the best up close, espicially the turret rotation. Other than that, its a solid turret if used effectively in my opinion, but most players struggle with it.

    I was refering to recharge times, and I'm too used to saying reload lol. You know what I meant tho )

    Yeah, it has fairly fast reload and increases the turret's damage by alot. However, in the beginning, hornet's OD wasn't the best...I think the damage isn't too unbalanced, maybe just decrease the reload time. The OD are meant to be OP, just look at viking and hunter.

    It's better to just rework or tweak something, rather than removing it of course, because it takes alot of effort to create such things in the first place. So, they should just focus on adjusting gauss if players feel its unbalanced.

    Currently, vulcan does around double the damage up close compared to long range, as the closer you are to your enemy, the higher the damage. So, if they plan on switching that around, shifting vulcan towards a long-range turret, they most likely plan on decreasing vulcan's close up damage. I don't think it'll make vulcan the most popular turret though.
  8. The timer doesn't sound like a bad idea, but what if players are offline once the 24h is up, or choose not to join a battle? They would most likely have to rank up right when they join the next battle I guess. Or, instead of the timer, maybe a system that allows you to only get, say, 100 xp, before you auto rank.
