It is actually better to farm crystal boxes than to play the game to get more crystals per xp.

I don't know. I like to be as strong as possible. Mk8 is not much stronger than mk7(except maybe Vulcan, idk). But the cost is insane. You are at a higher rank than my main, so you would know better.

It costs 800k to upgrade a single hull turret combo to mk8. Be prepared for that.
