Open testing of the new physics (Updated on December 6)
dogm45 replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
I need to know. I need to know. What happened to the steering (the turning is wide)? This needs to be answered. It is terrible and I'm seeing a lot of complaining actually in the battle chat. Please answer this question. Is the pivoting point towards the back of the tank?? -

Recharge time for M-3 Firebird is to slow for the new physics of other tanks it can't keep up! -

M-3 Mammoth's speed needs to be 5.6! The other tanks are way to fast for maneuvering away from them! Especially with the shaft! -

The M-3 Mammoth once again the new steering. The original steering is better! I'm seeing a lot of tanks out of control! -

M-3 Shaft is not OP! For quite awhile the Shaft has been under powered! I love the shaft ran it for an hour! Can you change the 8 second recharge time to 6 seconds. The waiting time is long when you have all those faster tanks swarming all over! -

Love the M-3 Shaft! What I need to know is does this test include the Mu? P.S. Did this test include the full range mu with it? -
What do you guys think of the steering for mammoth?

I have been to the test server each day for a couple hours. I have notice that the steering in the new physics is different. The tank turns very wide. I find myself having to do 3 point turning in order to get in some area and ramps on maps. I find it very limiting! What do you guys think keep the original steering or the new. -
This is a picture of my tank before and after the new graphic update. This is the Rock paint on my tank does anyone know what is going on!

Came from the test server ran the Mammoth M-3 for two hours for the second day. The steering is turning to wide. The maneuver turns are too radius in nature! I find myself having to do a lot of 3 point turns to make it through areas and ramps! I got a hold of the flag a few time during battle and was not able to escape due to it's radius turning. Moving and shooting I am very well at this was difficult to do when chasing down the opponent. The steering , steering, steering and steering needs to go back to the original way! I really am trying to adapt to the new steering it's not working for me. :fire_l: -

I also want to point out that there is a large tribe of Generalissimo's who love their M-3 Mammoth and love to have very intense battles against each other. So I would hope the dev's have considered this! It's wasn't are choice to mix the ranks together ( I'm very clear on what is happening out on the battlefield). So please do not wreck the M-3 Mammoth. I wouldn't nerf a tank just because it dominates the battlefield. I didn't make the rules up about mixing the ranks that have lessor tanks. -

I want to keep the steering of the new physics an issue! The original steering turning point seems to be more central and very maneuverable. The new steering physics turning point seems to be more towards the back of the tank and it is very awkward. :fire_l: -

Every tank has every right to be in any map! There is know excuse to fix the m-3 mammoth. You think you know what your talking about, wait till you come up here and battle. M-3 Mammoths taking on M-3 Mammoths so other tanks can make their moves. You read you garage spec's well, but you have know idea about the battle field setting at this level. P.S. Good luck out on the battlefield! -

I also want to mention that the new steering is like a shopping cart. I do not like the new physics steering! I like my M-3 Mammoth the way it is and just add the micro - upgrades to it. The M-3 Mammoth will need more speed to keep up around those smaller tanks! See my write up on page 6 section 113. I am very concerned what will happen to my M-3 Mammoth I have been running it for years? :) -

Listen in battle you need an up front m-3 mammoth that will part the ways ( make thing happen). For the most part I find myself in my M-3 Mammoth breaking down the front line against other M-3 Mammoths when other tanks can not. Please don't try to tell me how to operate my tank or what tank I should be running. What you don't understand is that there is more battle supplies being used more now than ever and the M-3 Mammoth can take the punishment! Leave the M-3 Mammoth be it does the job when other hulls can't! The past has nothing to do with today's battle field. P.S. I'm not a selfish player! I use my tank to break down the front door so the smaller tanks can sweep in and take the flag! I think your battlefield experience is different than mine! I repeat do not dwarf the M-3 mammoth! -

Been to test Server.....What do you think?

Mammoth M-3. The Champion has been removed from the M-3 Mammoth!!!! I been running Mammoth from the beginning of my career. I know this hull inside out and make it perform beyond it's scope. I started out with basic operations and it reminded me of the M-2 Mammoth at times. I also performed some of my challenging maneuvers that I use in battle and could not achieve them. The new hull design turns very wide. You really have to plan your turn or you could find yourself doing a 3 point turn! Also, the steering swivels much like a shopping cart making it awkward at times. Moving and shooting at the same time was difficult due to the new steering. Good luck to those players that have a difficult time driving their tanks now. I notice a change in speed (1 second faster than the original hull). The upgrade in speed benefits moving across the battlefield but that's about it. I did notice that it's has more mass (correct me if I'm wrong) giving it the ability to push tanks but air time has been sacrificed. The mass has off set it's capability to perform those special maneuvers I'm use to making. The new physics to me has made this tank a new camper not a battling tank that I'm use to. Furthermore, I was able to test other tanks for a couple hours tonight and found that the new physics is creating an environment of out of control tanks in parkour mode. Most of the time trying to stay on the map or just crashing into things. The dev's may have to redesign some maps in order to accommodate the new physics (especially the speed and the sliding). The shopping cart steering is not good at all in my opinion. Most of the battles I have been in lately have been coupled with inexperienced players. This has been quite frustrating to deal with let alone throw this level of physics on top of a fire that has been growing. I would rather keep my original M-3 Mammoth hull and just possibly install micro-upgrades! Please don't dwarf my M-3 Mammoth I'm not the type to camp. I'm an up front battler. I really am not a fan of any other hull even though they have their place on the battlefield. -
