So your whole team is gonna rush to the cap point and get insta-sniped by Gauss or destroyed by Striker salvos? The whole point is you need someone to watch your flanks… everyone mindlessly rushing to the point is a recipe for disaster.

It’s a perfectly acceptable strategy. Not the players’ fault the devs designed this event so stupidly.

This game is too casual for that. What you described will probably be reserved for some sort of ranked competitive mode.

Still no word on these “fraudulent and illegal” methods of obtaining stars. It’s not against the game rules to create multiple accounts - “there are no limits”, a dev said in one of the earlier Vlogs. Obviously it’s just the esports players who grinded 5000 stars that they are pandering to. Imagine the uproar if Jumper’s team lost first place at the very end of the event. Sounds like the devs have already decided who should win the so-called “YouTuber battle”.

Wow. So you finished first in a battle where the average player has a GS of 4k while you have Mk6s/Mk7s.

They just made stars impossible to purchase from the shop. It’s still possible to save up some missions and claim them for the 300 stars.

You’re not obligated to go and capture flags/balls etc. in those modes. You can just as equally sit in your base and defend. Both attackers and defenders have a role. I don’t see what the big deal is here.

Sounds like you're looking for competitive but balanced gameplay. Go play League, Dota or Overwatch, they will be much more worth your time.

But it’s not a fraudulent way to obtain stars. It’s just a terribly designed event. They are simply doing this so there isn’t a massive outcry if Jumper’s team gets bodied on the last day by players buying stars from the shop.

I’d rather they stopped endlessly teasing the new interface and actually release some useful information about when it’s coming.

My point was that when you look at the evidence, and use logic and reasoning, everyone should come to the same conclusion - that the game is clearly P2W. Similarly, scientists look at the evidence in the natural world and form theories and hypotheses in a logical way, so laypeople cannot just try to circumvent the rational and obvious explanations using “faith”.
