    Newspaper Requests!

Can't write on it as we are still unsure whether CP mode is truly not in Tanki X or if it's just an oversight on the part of the people advertising Tanki X.

[Issue 42] Hating Updates: What's in it?

@creeperskelly: If the game is really so horrible that you want to punch your hands through your monitor, then please, don't torture yourself. There's an X button at the top right corner of the screen.

Dude, if I could only teleport to your planet, I would give you a great big hug for this....

    In Defense of Supplies

I'm offended that you twisted my words. I said nothing about having to BUY the SUPPLIES, I said that the ones who do not use the ones they get from Daily Missions and tank kits are causing imbalance. And I said that the majority of the ones who whine for SUPPLIES to be severely limited or removed would find themselves in the same predicament after they were removed. I didn't say that they are inherently losers. They may be very successful individuals in their day-to-day lives, they may not be; I don't know. Their ability or lack thereof to fire an artillery shell with accuracy and effectiveness in a computer game does not affect the content of their character, and I am insulted that you would suggest I meant that. The point of my article was not to get on a tangent and start flaming. Let's calm down and have a nice pot of tea. Chamomile should do the trick.

Just a note on that sentence, I did think about it. I remembered that the English community is composed mostly of players from the United Kingdom and the United States, and Bulgaria doesn't have that many players. Tanki can't change the prices just for one or two players with unfortunate financial situations. If someone is struggling just to afford a can of pop, then the last thing they are worried about is this game and its prices.

[Issue 42] [Contest] Tanki in Ink

IT MUST BE BLACK INK. Using a computer to change the color or add non-ink flourishes is not allowed.

[Issue 42] [Contest] Tanki in Ink

It was not successful. Go to tinypic.com and upload your picture there, then copy the "direct link for layouts." Come back to Tanki and click that picture button underneath the emoticon symbol, then paste the "direct link for layouts" in the blip that pops up. Click "OK", and tada, your picture is in the post. Any questions?

Episode 65 of the V-LOG is here!

TEN TIMES the gold drop frequency?! I think... I think I'm going to pass out! I have never celebrated Nightmare Night, but THIS YEAR, there will be some celebrating going on at my place! On Tanki, that is.

    What's your favourite forum topic?

  10. This is so wrong on so many levels, I don't know how to begin. Okay, 1.) The "enitre" community relies on Tanki maintaining a profitable economy so that they can play their game. How many more times do I have to bring up the grocery store analogy? If the store halves all of its prices, too many customers will buy the products, empty the store, and the store will wind up going out of business. How hard is that to understand? It's kindergarten-level supply and demand. Whoa, I rhymed there.... 2.) Bigger sales do NOT make players buy more willingly due to the fact that only about half of the players buy crystals, and those buyers don't buy based on sales promotions. They buy when their crystal wallet is getting low. A player with 700,000 crystals in his wallet isn't going to buy any more just because there's a sale. The other half of Tanki's players doesn't buy because they either can't or won't. And yes, "half" and "doesn't" is proper subject-verb agreement. Just thought I'd throw that in. 3.) Tanki is not filling my pocket for writing for them. My compensation is knowing that what I write benefits the game and the community. 4.) As long as I do not violate the forum rules, I can criticize Tanki if necessary. So far, that is not necessary. They seem to have it all together quite nicely.

    Lets discuss about smart phones

    Thanks for clearing that up.
  12. That obviously isn't a real picture of her, her muzzle is too small, and... well, she has words hovering next to her. Whoever drew the thing has a bizarre sense of posing the subject. And Roobydashuns is a she, by the way.
  13. I'm a changeling, and - uh...
  14. Did you guys read the last part of the article? It may not be fun for the individual to get 40% off as opposed to 50% off, but you have to remember something: you aren't the only one playing Tanki. 40% off is better than 50% off when you consider what is necessary for the greater good of the entire community, not just a few players. Of course, that "greater good" business doesn't mean that Tanki ignores the needs of the individual, which is why the personal discounts update was released.
  15. This game has become a family pastime. My sisters, my brothers, my Mom, my aunt, most of my friends... we all play Tanki. It's a great place to spend time with the ones who make my life worth living. And GOLD BOXES! Omigosh the Gold Boxes! I want one right nooow! Gold gold gold! *faint*
  16. I don't celebrate Nightmare Night, or "Halloween" as humans call it.

[Issue 42] [Contest] Tanki in Ink

@PWNER101 --> As long as the ink is black and the (one sheet of) paper is white, you can use as many pens or markers as are necessary.

    Tanki Career: Penguin40

A fascinating account of your journey as a tanker. Nicely done.
  20. Multiply that free service times an innumerable amount of players, and the company will take a significant financial hit, like a grocery store that suddenly halved all of its prices for a day. Mobs of customers would flood in, and, well.... No more grocery store.
