I just caught a Gold yesterday at Brest, where I catch most of mine. I had just taken the flag and was on my way to capture it when the siren sounded, and all the tanks in the forts came pouring out like bees from a pair of hives. I looked around for a moment and didn't see the reticle, but I did see three enemy tanks clustered in the valley in front of my fort. I raised the camera angle and saw the box spawn and start to float down. No one was nearby, so I drove up onto the bridge and waited. When the box was about to land, I jumped off and fell on top of the enemies. One Gold for me, and I still was able to capture the flag!

The best way the average tanker can fight back is to take screenshot of the offender in the act of chatting illegally and report it in the Chat Offenders section. I just tried it for the first time at Osama's suggestion, having seen a player requesting account info in the chat room. Two days later, the offender was banned. It really does work.

My absolute favorite combo for players who want to team up in deathmatch mode is for Player #1 to use Titan+Thunder and Player #2 to use Viking+Firebird. #1 will blast away at long range, while #2 keeps melee fighters off their backs. We should try that next time. ;)

My sister's life was ruined because some stranger from a distant planet preyed upon her, and she did something that made her mother sad. THAT hurt her more than anything.
