You clearly haven't had much experience with Wasp. It does have an advantage of speed over Hornet - I don't know what are saying about Wasp being slower than Hornet. The main advantage of Wasp over Hornet in my opinion is that it does not drift, or has little drift. Using this capability of Wasp to your own advantage and equipping Hammer, you can easily dodge Railgun shots.
