    Let's Discuss Missions!

You are not getting ignored, you simply cannot influence developers' work. The company decides about priorities and development plans, not you or me.

    Important changes to the game

As I said here, none of us knows all the details and information that devs check and see on daily basis. Nor any of us is a business manager that actually runs a gaming company and decides what is good or bad business decision. What we can and should do is to simply relax and enjoy this game.

    Important changes to the game

Actually you are wrong about that one, helpers do collect all the feedback and send it to the office on weekly basis, kindly check here. So any feedback posted by players of the community is collected by its helpers and sent to devs. What they are going to do with it is up to them, as you said yourself, it's their game. But it's not true that devs do not have direct info or knowledge of what players say.

Fair point, updated. Since it's 4 year old topic, it's high time to update its purpose and adapt it to current system of community management.

    Complaint Book

You guys suggested to give you information about complaints forwarded to devs and that's exactly what we're doing. Kindly keep checking first page for weekly updates, as @CooperO wrote, to inform yourselves about the complaints we already forwarded to devs. We already forwarded to developers about search option not working properly on the forum. Until they fix it, kindly discuss game features in designated topics - forum moderators are checking them regularly to collect data needed by devs to improve the game. Please leave this topic for CM-level emergency complaints only.

    Let's Discuss PRO Battles

I never play battles without timer, not crazy :D Even 3 flags can be torture and last for hours on maps like Silence. Not on Sandbox though, flags go pretty fast there so sometimes 7 flags without timer can be just enough...

    Let's Discuss PRO Battles

Yea, I do agree with that... we had much more options in the past. Now I'm forced to either make my own battle, to make sure map and all the options are to my liking or join the same Sandbox or Serpuhov ones over and over again. I so miss Fort Knox and Kungur...

    Let's Discuss PRO Battles

For me they were never a mess, I played only PRO battles since 2010. But let's not offtopic any further...

    Let's Discuss PRO Battles

I beg to differ, I know a lot of good players who play PRO battles without supplies, overdrives and drones. You should try it.
  14. If the applications are closed, it doesn't mean we're done searching for proper candidates. Yes, players will still break the rules no matter how many moderators are in the team or how many times we ban but it's ours to try and do what we can to keep Tanki Online nice and friendly place for everyone, no matter who they are and where they come from. That being said, we do expect players to also help us maintain good and positive atmosphere in the game by using in-game options to protect themselves further, when moderators are not online or not able to assist. More about ways to protect yourself and chat moderation in general: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=359359
  15. The applications are closed but that doesn't mean we're sitting idle and not approaching people who we think would fit the duty/team perfectly. We're always on lookout for potential candidates.

    Best Helpers of 2018

Tankers! As in previous years, the Administration of EN community would like to present The Helpers of the Year ! Hexed - It's hard to put in words how helpful and hardworking this author is. Hexed has made a name for himself in the community as a talented and diligent writer and editor who consistently puts out content of the highest quality. Not only did he become the backbone of the Newspaper and the Tanki Wiki, he also contributed to the increasingly popular Discord server. For his great contribution as a helper, we believe his name rightfully belongs on this list. Stratosphere - Stratosphere has been one of the leading Wiki Editors and FB moderators. Not only his interest towards the Wiki has long been unrivalled, he’s also shown undivided attention towards running the very project, ranging from training new candidates to cooperating with Editors of other communities. As someone who always looks for ways to improve and popularize Tanki's official Facebook page, he also got involved in managing its content and contests, alongside Winner_Of_Turkey and is someone that admins gladly suggested for this list. Goges.Enze - Another helper who manages to be exceptional in more than one field of work - Goges has demonstrated that he is the guy you can count on and contact any time for assistance. He took on the uneasy task of Creative League Administrator and Designing team leader, while actively supporting the Events team in their effort to entertain the Tanki community as well as the team of reporters. Also thanks to his efforts, EN community can boast of having strong and talented creativity crew. UnKnown_AngeLz - a very devoted helper willing to step up, improve and turn a lost cause to one that it's worth all the time you have to invest in it. His previous experience as eSports player proved to be very helpful to improve the situation in eSports. He worked a lot behind the scene, he managed most of the documents that have been created to make the management of eSports easier. It's worth mentioning that, he was a broadcaster too, so thanks to him we were able to improve the live stream crew and bring new content to the community. Hate - Hate has been an invaluable member of the forum moderation team throughout the whole year. He is dedicated to his jobs and always does his duties promptly, to the best standard he can. He is always eager to improve his methods and great at learning from mistakes. Despite having very limited Internet access for half of the year due to having to serve his country, Hate still used his free time to work on the forum and has helped us out tremendously. Viking4s - Viking is the most active member of forum moderation team who consistently provides quantity and quality with his work. He monitors the whole forum and is very flexible with what he can do plus he also puts both his writing and editing skills to good use. He regularly writes useful guides on various game aspects and consistently makes it easy to understand festivity calendars for official events in Tanki Online, thus contributing a lot to the community and its players. Flexoo - A member of the Newspaper team since July 2016 and administrator since June 2017, Flexoo has produced some of the best content the newspaper has published in its history. At the helm, his optimism and support have enabled reporters and guest writers to thrive in the monthly Issue publication. His unwavering commitment to the Tanki Newspaper was on display in 2018 and the service of the newspaper will continue to improve under his leadership. D_A_R_K_F_I_N - Long before he became an Event Helper, D_A_R_K_F_I_N was devoting his time and energy in the organization of the Tanki races, the longest running, best organized and most successful player-created events to this day. Not only is he super active as a helper, he is very innovative and creative with new tracks for the races. His qualities and leadership skills has been clearly visible from the start of his career, thank you for your great service to the community in 2018! Hny93 - One of the most reliable and hard-working chat moderators, going strong for the third year in a row. He's often specially inclined to help new players and inform them about the rules of the game in chat channel made for them, thus greatly improving their understanding of the game and its principles. While devoting a lot of his personal time to this community, Hny is certainly a force to be reckoned with and a valuable part of chat mod team. NanoMox7 - Nano is one of chat moderators who is quietly but consistently working on making this community a better and more understanding place. Whether forwarding feedback from the chat, asking about specific issues or suggesting ideas, he's always in the first row when it comes to chat moderating, making sure that all channels are properly monitored, especially during so-called "night shift". We're looking forward to see more of his actions in the next year as well. rommeltanki - Another veteran among EN community helpers and one of the most dedicated and most patient chat moderators who always makes sure to take time and answer every player that seeks assistance on the chat. Such devotion is a valuable trait for any helper in this game, especially those who are presented here as Best Helpers of the year. Advices given to players and coaching of candidates of chat mod team was another important component to pick him as one of the best helpers in 2018. Lucifer - eSports has always been an important part of this game and ever since he has taken over as its administrator for the EN community, back at the end of 2017, Lucifer has worked hard to expand it. He has worked tirelessly to make sure players have fun, enjoy eSports and are challenged by it. With his experience in Events and collaboration with international communities, he certainly has made a positive impact and has done a lot for eSports and our community in general in 2018. CooperO - Easily one of the most dedicated administrators in EN community, CooperO has shown skills, patience and knowledge in every task and issue she dealt with this year, tasks that are not only limited to forum administration. Like every other person on this list, in spite of real life obligations, she remained focused and committed to the game and this community and as such, deserves the title for the third time in the row. Winner_Of_Turkey - Winner_Of_Turkey is one of the people responsible for social media presence of Tanki Online and in that capacity, he has done an awesome job during this year. Full of enthusiasm, everlasting creativity and bursts of ideas, he's the reason behind entertaining and wholesome content on TO Facebook page. Definitely an awesome addition to administrative team of EN community and worthy carrier of this year's title of Best Helper. Mr_STIFFLER - One of the administrators of the Battle moderation team, dealing with arguably some of the most pressing issues players have in this game and doing his best to sort them all with his team by helping on multiple platforms and across communities. Always patient and quick to assist players and his colleagues, his dedication to the community and the game throughout the year through diligent work has brought him the title of Best Helper of the year. skeletorXVIII and Torben_BoS - Even though they are already awarded as Best helpers in DE community, we don't want to miss the opportunity to include them in our list as well as to thank them for great work they have been doing in EN community too. Their everlasting enthusiasm and resolve to do their best in order to bring Events and contests to players, as well as to make interesting and involving content for all players through different platforms (not to mention being great colleagues and providing assistance to other EN community teams when needed) is why we sincerely congratulate them on well deserved title! (All descriptions above were written by colleagues of featured helpers) Congratulations to all Best helpers of 2018 and BIG thank you! As it was practice last year, the Administration would again like to mention and award following players for their contribution to EN Community: Mikaelson ThirdOnion Mustard Pyre Spy Magenta GrandExecutioner Breath Thiedes C.O.N.Q.U.E.R.O.R The Administration would also like to thank everyone else who devoted their time and effort to make this community the best it can be. Thank you for all of your suggestions, creative work and input, awesome atmosphere and pure fun! Let's all do our best to make EN community even better place in 2019!

Hi, please read this text, it has explanation how to handle violators: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=357462 Also, please contact administrators via pm in case you need further assistance.

It's been clear from the start that vote option should be used for game violations only, ie. hackers and mults, since Battle mods do not deal with chat offences (like chat mods do not deal with battles): https://help.tankionline.com/knowledge-bases/7/articles/24462-how-to-report-a-violator

We told developers years ago that tweaking of antiflood system is needed but it obviously isn't high on their list of priorities. Also, Battle moderators deal with game violations, not flood. Easiest way is to block players who annoy you, that way you won't see them or their messages again. Or you can disable the chat completely before going into any battle.

That could be done, I guess. I'll leave it to forum admin @CooperO to evaluate and see what can be done about it.

I agree with you and that's how I would do it, we'll certainly try to persuade developers to be more open and transparent about their plans and progress, not just to discuss them in V-logs but to post details in topics like this one. As you have noticed, duties of CM are now more focused on work with the office while administrators are also working more closely with both CM and the office. That's why several of us are in position to give you information regarding various issues promptly and you don't have to wait for CM to get them. Besides, Cedric himself made it clear that he's always available for players on Discord in case you want to discuss something with him personally. I know you got used to different approach but community management evolves and can be organized in different ways; as long as we're forwarding players' feedback regularly and players get all the info directly from the office by means of EN community helpers - and you said yourself we're doing a good job ;) - everything is fine. I didn't say you shouldn't complain about it, I'm saying that moderators see and note everything that has been posted on the chat, on the forum, on social media pages etc and are forwarding it to admins, who are forwarding it to CM and onwards to the office. Repeating it over and over again won't change anything nor speed up the process of doing something about it, devs are aware of the issues and are doing their best to solve them. We just have to let them do their work, be patient and focus on other aspects of the game in which we all enjoy.

We already suggested to devs to limit number of accounts created by someone, years ago, but I guess it's very hard to do it software-wise.

No need to change the name, just its purpose which somehow got lost in the past 3 years - and that is to keep it highly informative and updated for CM, which means no point dwelling on same things for months, which we already reported anyway. If you however feel the need to discuss specific topics over and over again, you can do it in Game Discussion section.

As you could read in the first post, it's made for a purpose: for developers to get an idea if something goes wrong and improve such matters. I'll repeat again, we collect all the feedback from players and from all platforms to report to developers; since devs are constantly working on improving and expanding the game it's obviously needed. So please understand that we are doing our job and to make it easier, this topic should stay clear of suggestions and discussions that are ongoing and can be done in topics made for that, like the one about matchmaking or the one about drones. So once again, please don't clog this topic with discussion that can be done in Game Discussion section - that's why it exists in the first place. This one is for urgent, CM level issues only so let's keep it that way, thank you.
