Been ongoing for at least 10 years. The devs are master calculators. Youtubers are in the main "PRO dev". Some of their comments are unbiased but you have to remember they get lots of freebies from uncle hazel. You need to ask a END GAME player (who can actually play) who has no ties to the devs whatsoever to test things like this out, that way you get a true and honest reflection of how a certain item plays out in real MM. Correct assumption. Fraud on the other hand is something completely different and I'm not sure anyone could make that stick legally within the confines of the game. Unethical, malicious, conniving and at times outright lying to players sums the devs up perfectly. The devs know players soooo well.........I REST MY CASE. Why would " THE COMPANY" do such a thing when their current crop of devs are doing a outstanding job of fleecing the players (weak willed foolish buyers) out of cash and turning a profit every month/year. I understand were your coming from but my question still remains, why would they. By "seeing the light" I take it you mean what is best for the game from a players standpoint in regards to how the devs do things within the game via updates. I refer you to the post above this one.. The main problem in the game (negative impact on players) is the devs ability to assess its player base down to a T, which in turn paves the way for them to exploit them via their now infamous and largely unwanted updates that they keep doing, all for the good of the game and it's players of course.

That's just it, f2p won't leave and buyers will still buy. Most players are addicted to the game which is what the devs like to see. Addiction=cash=happy devs=devs do whatever it takes to keep this insidious cycle going. Summary:- players are in general weak willed and the buyers even more so. The devs are sly and manipulative and will never do anything in the players best interests, which is a undeniable, unequivocal and unquestionable 100% fact.

Then after players have spent enough cash (fools) no doubt the augments will get nerfed. Considering the sky high prices they charge (regardless of the currency, cry, tankoins, etc) you are correct. In defence of the devs they have probs worked it out just about right, but it doesn't detract from the fact that it should have been a higher %.

LOL same old, same old. I was going to do a well thought out lengthy post quoting lots of players, then thought nah no point. All I will say is the devs get away with fleecing the players "EVERY TIME" because they know the players soooooo well.

TO is a game not life and death, your post is null and void. @TheCongoSpider is correct. Testing anything out to do with new augments, hulls, turrets, etc in genuine MM battles is the only way to see how it affects game play against the numerous other combos used by other players, all with their own unique way of playing the game. Some advice if I may. Think before you type. For the devs. Think before update.

I'd need way more than 15 mins. Are you (chiefest of devs) ever going to act on genuine, reasonable player feedback that enhances the gaming experience for the majority of players. This includes any and all updates which should have prior consent from the players via a vote/poll system. By this I mean game changing updates that affect players in a adverse way. Example:- The introduction of "floating tanks" that have the ability to camp on top of buildings.....really. Things to get rid of/change in the game. 1-Useless notifications that obscure your line of sight in battle and your peripheral vision also. 2-Night time mode. JUST PANTS. 3-Ranking system and the mechanics behind it. More XP needed to rank by a factor of at least x2, x3 would be preferential. 4-MM.......The main problem with this is the obvious differences not just in rank/GS/ but in the strength of your garage as a whole. The reasons behind so many weak players is attributed mainly by the problem not being addressed in Q3. 5-All of the above and way more.

I have never, ever, ever, said that drones complicate the game. This is a misconception and they used my argument about the complexity of the game and took it blatantly out of context. Augments, crits, the constant reshuffling, (nerf/buff cycle of the mechanics of the game) are what complicates TO. I have just read a post by @TheCongoSpider on the latest patch update were he explains the original mechanics of paladin. He then goes onto explain the nerf/buff cycle history of it since it was released. This one hull and the subsequent explanation given by @TheCongoSpider is in itself a complicated minefield to understand and the game has another 10 hulls and 16 turrets, all with their complex mechanics to A-Understand and B-memorise. Like I said, drones are not complicated. Each drone does one specific task, yes some drones are alike in what they give you in battle, example;- miner/saboteur by the fact they both lay mines are the obvious ones to compare, other than that drones and understanding their capabilities are as complicated as A-B-C-and what letter comes next.

Just get rid of everything except drones and overdrives, complicated issues solved. Drones are not complicated. All the augments/addons, you no the copy paste one's attached to the actual tank are what complicates the game, to a point were trying to memorise them all is just impossible and not worth it. I have said for a long time now that they should have a poll for such drastic changes/updates. The way it would work would be to make it compulsory to vote before being able to log into your most used account, no secondary accounts allowed. Only your main one regardless of it's rank is counted.

Lets put this all into context so everyone can understand how TO works. Q 1..... Is TO a P2W scam. A.....Yes it is, in so much that they bring out new updates for turrets/augments, etc then when they have got their money's worth out of the buyers the rest of the players get to acquire it, were it inevitably gets nerfed "to the ground" and the cash grabbing cycle starts all over again. Everything in TO has been downgraded, especially supplies and containers. Q 2.....Are containers rigged. A.....I doubt it. But then again when cash is involved even if they were, players would have no idea either way. Q 3.....Is MM rigged. A.....Again I doubt it. Q 4.....Are there still hackers in the game. A.....Without doubt yes there is. Q 5.....Is MM fair. A.....NOPE. MM has not worked the way the devs intended it to from day one. Q 6.....Do updates and special events play havoc with TO. A.....Yes. Every time they do a update/event TO goes sideways. Lag, restart, getting kicked from battles, etc, etc. Q 7..... Do the devs no what they are doing regarding TO. A......Very much so. Q 8.....Do the devs listen to player feedback. A.....Only if it coincides with what they already have planned and it doesn't cost them wads of cash. In other words.....NOPE. Q 9.....Are most of the mods biased towards the devs and what they do. A.....IMO, vey much so. The last one is for you hazel. Q 10.....To hazel. Start acting on player feedback and see a improvement in all areas of TO. That would be sensible player feedback, not children wanting shot effects back in the challenge. A....Hazel's reply?

Ahh the voice of reason. Abstain, good word that. For all you players complaining about this. You can either A- not compete, or B- give it a go. These are the choices you have and these 2 choices are down to YOU not the devs. Of course the devs have the player base well sussed, which is why they get away with everything they do. The devs encourage game play to make as much profit as they can. The trick they are missing is when they start to de-value certain in-game items like containers, they are now trash. Ranking to LEGEND now has no merit because of the paltry 1000 cry for doing so. Copy/pasting augments to every turret is also useless because now there are no unique turrets in the game as they can all do the same thing, which is why TO is now pathetic, not counting the TOTALLY USELESS matchmaking. These mini-games do nothing but increase the lag because their servers just can't handle it and the devs do nothing to solve this problem, they only compound it. When the devs finally wake up and smell the coffee and start acting on genuine player feedback concerning TO, then and only then will they have a game that is enjoyable and fair to buyers and f2p. As for the minigame, like most of them I will give it a hard pass.

Did that include the tanks that could hover/fly/and jump on top of buildings. This is a game which is why the devs can get away with so many ridiculously, stupid, useless idea's/updates. What a surprise. There lunacy has no limits. -

Because they can. First time in awhile I have not entered a battle all day, just can't be bothered with the crap they keep spewing out with every useless update they bring out. Stuff the daily missions and the challenge, it is no longer worth it. The game died a long time ago, they just keep adding extra nails to the coffin lid. -

When freeze got the alt "shock freeze" you gave up HP (quite a bit) to fully immobilise the enemy, now that was a alt worth having. Back then freeze like firebird and every other turret was still unique and protections actually worked quite well to minimise the damage you got from any particular turret. Fast forward all the way to the present and I no longer read about any augment and what it can do, I no longer make a private battle with friends to test out different turrets/hulls to see what effect they have in battle, HP, duration, what a certain overdrive will/will not do against another overdrive, etc. The mechanics of the game keep changing, making it increasingly harder to gauge anything in the garage, in battle, what aug does what against a certain hull, overdrive, etc, etc. TO is complicated mess, such that I no longer bother to change protections, check what other players have going into battle because there really is no point. Anything and everything can stun you, emp you, set you on fire, freeze you, take your supplies off you, negate your overdrive, etc, the list is endless of what can take you out in battle. I no longer care what they nerf are buff, the game is a mess and will only get worse. Freeze is just another mechanic in a perpetual, never ending, nerf/buff cycle, that along with every other changes the devs make just complicates and undermines what the game set out to be and once was.........back in the day when it was just about "TANKS" that did not defy gravity and win battles all on there own with the latest OP gimmick, that cost a fortune to obtain from the overpriced containers, from the overpriced "shop", when a noob buyer was just a player with a lot of supplies. To many changes and not enough thought about the changes and what effects they have on the game, have crippled the game beyond repair. 2023 is just a continuation of the previous few years when it all started going downhill. Same old, same old. -

Useless like the words "no balance" are 2 things frequently associated with the developers. Agree. This is why I will no longer play CP. Have to strongly disagree. The garage is becoming more childish every time they alter it, it is now harder to "QUICKLY" change protections than it was before. The devs like to change things around but never, ever get it right. Agree. The devs will say you will get used to it, which is not the point. I am fed up of trying to re-learn what I already know just because the devs think it's cool to change things around. When will they ever learn that the players, (who regularly engage with the game) know what is best when it comes to a shake up involving the garage and all it entails. No surprise there. They are inept when it comes to fixing anything in a prompt and reliable way. All in all this update, like every single update they have ever brought out is met with negative posts. This is because they will not engage the players to ask their opinion on what would make the game easier to manipulate when in battle. Going to the garage to change mid battle has now just become that much harder, all thanks to their badly thought out changes to the layout that we were all getting used to, not to mention they still have not sorted out the "MAJOR PROBLEM" of all the names of players that totally obscure everything in battle, along with the poorly placed notifications that appear right in the middle of the screen near the top. As always they ignore these problems that players ask them to sort out and bring out updates that most players do not want are need. I am still waiting for the option to get rid of the annoying aim bot they gave magnum. -

LOL quite funny that. Kids like it to be simple less, skill involved. PC and mouse feels alien, to me at least. I use keyboard, always have, always will and that makes vulcan imo harder than most to master when your up close to a enemy. Says it all right there. The recent nerfs to paladin have in no way stopped it from dominating all modes, it's as you were, floating trash cans dominating, especially cap modes and it's made all the more difficult because of how they move in battle, making it very hard to nail these clowns. They have a unfair advantage, more so if they play mouse are mobile. @MaximilliamtheGreat The devs have destroyed the game with all their childish gimmicks and they will continue to destroy it. Same old, same old. Nice choice of words mod. Substitute your cowardly "relatable" with the word "TRUE" and your post has merit. Your like a piece of tracing paper, very easy to see through. -
Lag, glitch, kicked from battles. When will you fix this. Losing all rewards and getting killed because of lag. Your servers like MM are substandard. FIX THIS PROBLEM.

A honest answer to that that question would be.............Like they care, as long as buyers still spend wads of cash on the latest OP update. About your shot effects. Valid point, but there are more important issues in the game to address than dumb shot effects.

First off when did this become "YOUR TOPIC", although I think the added text gives players more scope to understand and reply accordingly. 1-Augments-Agree. 2-Supplies are easier now to obtain and I think most players have enough to get by. 3-Updates-Agree, apart from your last comment, it has not improved at all. 4-Mobile- I understand why it's in the game but that being said, I have no time for any of them and enjoy greatly destroying them in battle. 5-crits and drones- I think this comment is now obsolete as all turrets have the ability to 1 shot anything, saboteur is not as game changing as it might once have been. 6-Totally and irrevocably agree, although again your last comment is way off, the devs never, ever act on sensible, well thought out posts that are written by anyone over the age of 7. 7-No comment, not bothered. 8-Thunder now is the opposite to "sucks". Don't know how or why you took over this topic but for me it makes sense. A adult with a understanding of most things in the game is what is needed to help players get their valid points across, whether they be critical or in favour of what the devs do. I think everyone knows my thoughts on TO and until NO.6 is acted on, this game will continue to go downhill with every OP update the devs bring out. I will reiterate one last time concerning the appalling MM system that has never worked since day one. Here is my solution "AGAIN" to improve it across the ranks that are most affected by it. 1- More CRY to XP is needed for low to mid rank players all the way to marshal. Ratio of 3-1 should suffice. 2-The XP needed to rank should be at least 2X more and I would say 3-4X more from recruit to major. After major you should be well versed in the game and should have been able to upgrade your garage to a good level for the higher ranks that are to come, where having a good, solid garage is a must. 3-This is a new one AND NOT MY IDEA. Give new players more than 1 turret/hull at the beginning, this will increase the enjoyment for new players and stop the boredom and tedious game time confined to one boring combo. 4-This is also a new point and I somewhat agree with the devs on this one (no, I have not lost the plot) Bringing in "bots" WILL help the rank spreads, but only "IF" NO.1 and NO.2 are introduced into the game. Bots on there own will not improve MM. 5-TO THE DEVS;- If you really want to rescue your MM and make the experience of TO that much better, at least for the ranks between recruit and marshal, then these idea's I believe are the solution. -
I would train them to go after paladin rejects and upon encountering said reject immediately transform into G-O-D-M-O-D-E with the speed of a jug, equipped with a maxed crisis and it's turrets converted into twins with Viking overdrive, that should just about do it. Nerf, buff, copy, paste. Make as much cash as possible, with as little balance as possible, in a failed MM system. Heads up, it's already very "PREDICTABLE". My solution to alleviate the MM problem has obviously not been taken into consideration, if it even got read, so bring on the bots and lets see what happens. Either way I do not think it will affect END GAME maxed legends and what it certainly will not do, is do any favours to low and mid rank players. Devs think they have found the solution, but like their failed MM it will not solve the problem of low G/S players ranking to quickly and the status quo will remain intact, which means nothing will change. Yes this might be the case, but the problem of ranking to quickly without the funds to upgrade your garage still remains and that means underpowered low G/S players getting thumped in battle and being of no use whatsoever to their team mates, apart from getting in the way and being annoying.

Totally agree. The reason their explanations are lost on most players is because they are 1- Trying to explain to younger players who either don't understand, are just don't care. They just want to play the game. 2- The mechanics of the game are way to complicated and there are far to many of them to remember. 3-They change parameters to often, further confusing players. Number 3 is mostly done when a augment associated with a particular turret has lost it's cash value and is released to the masses, fav trick of the devs. The game as a whole has lost it's identity. By that I mean there is no longer any uniqueness separating turrets. In their quest to extract as much cash as possible from the gullible, weak willed and "I HAVE TO BE THE BEST" they have just copy/pasted each turret and on a whim given a particular turret/hull/overdrive/augment OP abilities to make sure the cash keeps rolling in. I thought shaft healing was dumb, now they have given it to thunder. I am no longer surprised by anything the devs do and that includes their wayward and misleading information they give out on a regular basis.

All well and good, but how many players study any turret and all the baggage that comes with it before going into battle? Yes they might read a little on it and take on board what other players might think, but actually studying and dissecting parameters, augments, shot warm-up time, crit chances, etc, etc is rather boring for most players. I personally take a interest in your posts, but for many I rather think it goes over their head.
