1. The token isn't really the dev's fault. Giving a token to fund their own fund is kind of silly actually. As far as giving a token for all the DDOS issues, that's up to the devs too. But then again, if people still play the game, why should they give a token in the first place? If people are satisfied with how things are (hence they keep playing the game), there's no reason for the devs to give a token 2/3. 100%. Weak prizes. The people who say the fund is fine as is just have really low standards and I cant help that. None of the 3 or 4 "headliner" prizes of the fund were reached (hunter driver, hunter gt, battle pass, skin container)

Probably shouldn't have come back. They're in the process of making this game as unfun as possible unless you spend a significant amount of money on the game (yes, even a little spending wont get you very far now). Just wait until the container/missions update drops and every low rank player tossed into a legends lobby will take a severe beating because your weak kit wont even give you a chance. But hey, we get a cool container opening animation and that's all they think players care about

Who cares about speed ups. I would be paying LESS for these modules if speed ups were still around. Sure, speed ups benefited those who wanted to max turrets/hulls/drones. But if you want premium items and save time, the cost of those items should've been increased, especially drones. Anyways, I don't care about these garbage updates anymore. My tanki days were over after the recent updates dropped

So the answer is to penalize those who are patient and slowly build out their garages, while benefiting those who are inpatient? Saving time should always come at a cost. You can quote your large/exorbitant numbers all you want. No one upgraded modules at full price + speedup unless you are a megabuyers (not representative of the average player). Just another garbage update. Safe to say im done with the game. It has gone downhill quite a lot in the 1 year I decided to play it again. Tanki fund nerfed. Battle pass nerfed. Can't buy nice augments with crystals anymore. Modules inaccessible for new players and cost 50% more to upgrade now. UC's about to be nerfed. It's whatever. I couldn't care less anymore. You legacy players who have everything already can have fun killing each other.

Then dont buy it. The current trend in the game is to satisfy only the megabuyers who have nothing worth spending tk on. So they will still buy the bp's and new elite passes. It will take a while (or maybe never?) before they make these bp's worth it for f2p or small scale buyers.

Power play. This fund was either not going to reach 30 million, or it was going to max out. There is no in between. As much as I dislike the prizes, the 30+ million rewards are appealing to some and it will gain momentum for the better rewards once it crosses 30 million. Lots of people are sitting on the sidelines to see if it's worth it or not (currently not worth it for f2p).

Not sure where the flaw is. If you buy 200 or 300 bundles, you're pretty much guaranteed to win a bunch of times

Then just raise the price of the tanki fund entry price? Still, doing so here wouldn't improve the success of the current fund. People also shouldn't forget that buyers need f2p players just as much as f2p players rely on buyers. While neither party is particularly fond of the other, such is the dynamic we live in. ? But if the buyers vs f2p gap gets too wide, f2p just stop playing and buyers won't have any cannon fodder to shoot at anymore. And while the current gap is about as narrow as it has been in a very long time, there's a noticeable reduction in players in tanki these days unfortunately. It takes much longer to find matches and the ranks often are messed up when you look at sub-marshall lobbies.

Not really. Rally car was clearly a buyer event. You could be very lucky and start off in the winning team but if you were unlucky you could spend an entire daily tk pass (30 days) on the event and still fail to win. I dont feel sorry for the players who got kicked out of the first round and received only a big fat "L" for their 500 or 700 tk entry. That event just wasnt for f2p outside of those who liked to take gamble. There is likely significant overlap between the current fund participants and that rally car event. The scamrock event was similar too and the f2p prizes were mid. Speaking as a f2p player, the last event i participated in was loc for helios/vacuum. It seemed expensive at the time but nothing has managed to match the value of that event since it happened (outside the bday tanki fund).

no. legendary augments are rare. There are players with almost all of them but they make up less than 20% of the player base. If tanki wants funds to max out, obviously they need to find stuff 80% of the player base wants vs only 20% (like right now).

You answered your own line of inquiry. There's no other way for f2p players to make real progress short of investing time into the game. Again from the f2p perspective, the shop bundle prices are bad deals and irrelevant. No f2p can afford to buy 200 ultras and it would be a total waste. So bringing up the "market price" of 100 tk per UC is irrelevant. F2p players dont mingle in this "market" that you're quoting prices off of. You have to have perspective to understand problems. A casual f2p player earns 1500-2000 tankoins a year (without any tanki welfare programs). A bp isn't even cheap by our standards. Out of the ~24 bp's per year casual f2p players can only afford to participate in no more than 3, or ~10% of the bp's. 700 is not a lot of tk in the grand scheme of things but it's still unaffordable for casual f2p players. Hope this helps you understand why this fund sucks and we're not participating. Again, the issue isn't a shortage of tk out there. Forgot to mention. You're a smart person. You probably understand opportunity costs. In the time that it would take a f2p player to make back 990 tk, they will pick up many multiples of whatever junk is in this fund. Hence, the f2p players who understand this won't touch this thing with a 10 meter pole. Really not that complicated.

Your baseline assumption is that the small seasonal bundles are fair for their price in tk. Unfortunately, no f2p would ever buy those bundles because they are ridiculously overpriced. So your misguided baseline assumption leads you to misguided conclusions. No one in their right mind would ever buy those small bundles. But if we assume that 5 ultras and some supplies for 990 tk is an acceptable price, or 1990 tk for 15 ultras is a fair price, then of course this fund is still a steal. Unfortunately everyone knows those are terrible deals for anyone who is economical about their tk purchases in the game. The only justification for joining is from @emrakul who said that these funds are statistically free, which is true. But we also need to apply the law of large numbers for this to actually bear fruit, the latter of which is difficult to apply in a scenario like this. It's worth mentioning that theres a divide between new and old players. Players who have been playing for 5 years already have most paints/skins/supplies/augments/ you name it. They desire just value and new items. As bad as this fund is, it's still good value as other legacy players have voiced. Unfortunately, ya old filthy legends are in the minority and the rest of us dont share your views. We don't have the stuff you have, and thus derive more value from things you see as worthless, while viewing things less from the lens of: "is this a good deal in absolute terms" This fund itself is worth at least 2500-3000 tankoins but im not buying in even if it maxes out. I dont derive value from it like older players because 90% of the rewards are useless trash to me. There are ways for tanki to bridge the gap between new and old to make this a fund worth participating in for everyone (especially with 50 levels). But that's their job to figure it out so im not giving ideas. This is their money making event and I'm pretty confident they've completely failed at that this fund. There's also no shortage of tankoins out there. Last fund reached 40 million and people were holding back. Just remember that.

Chill. The fund is bad but you dont need to make hyperbolic statements like this to get your point across. It hurts your credibility. The prior winter fund was stuck around 12 million before the token. The prior summer esports fund was the first ever to max out. The 2 funds before it hit 10 million in totality.

Welp the fund sucks so much in the viewpoint of a casual f2p player, that no one will get 5 solid prizes. It will more likely be just 2, one of which isn't even unique to this fund. This fund could easily reach 40 million with better rewards. I'm probably not the only one, but I'm completely sitting this one out. There's nothing better to spend tankoins on right now, but the casual f2p player earns 1000-1500 tankoins a year so it would be better to save. Good luck washing out tankoins with this garbage. It's like a fisherman thinking they can catch anything with their worst bait.

not really.... 2nd slot is 50 tk which is cheap then do the island hopping minigame and just get to the 1st real checkpoint. There are going to be 3 of those events this year (snowtrap, cosmonautics, halloween). It doesn't take even a year...

fewer participants = fewer winners. It doesn't matter how many bundles a single participant purchases. Everyone's chances are the same. It's crazy how salty some of you guys are that some people won more than once and you didnt win. even if those guys didn't participate, your chances of winning didn't change in any material way.

Just like Day of The Dead last year, this feels more like tanki's funeral than a birthday celebration. It's such a shame. The events and all would've been fun, and there was enough excitement to bring in new players and bring back old players alike. Too bad theres no reason to stick around staring at a loading screen ?
