Alvast een goed gezegend en gezond nieuwjoar gewenst; Groetn uut Lochem! Ik ben nu bier en Bacardi- oliebollen aan het bakken in de keet op zonnebloemolie.

Yeah right... It would only take 7513 years to M4 but that's fine. Respect man, just Smoky and Viking M2 there in your garage. How many crystals did you save up already?

Shaft and double damage, they go together like peas and carrots. 70-80% of my shots taken with Shaft in standard battles are drugged. High damage per shot turrets seem to make me drug more, I have that with Magnum too. Smoky on the other hand relies on knockback; I use double armor there to land as much shots as possible. With turrets like Shaft and Magnum I feel like I have to finish what I started rather than just damaging the enemy. With Smoky I just like to annoy the hell out of everyone. Oh you will later on...

Anyway, 100% increase.. 4 to 8; that's massive. Edit: No idea how I got to 16 seconds in my previous post.

Ja is goed hoor.

Thanks, really intriguing stuff. I answered to your post in the Shaft topic.

They're increasing power-up time with 100%, not reload. So the alt would cut the energy restore rate of 125/sec down to 62,5 or make the stored energy from 1000 to 2000. Either way it would mean that it's 16 whole seconds of getting that 3900 damage output ready. The damage per second with the alt would be 243,75. 3900/16 The damage per second without the alt would be 375. 3000/8 I know I shouldn't bring in a damage/sec parameter to a sniper weapon but they're not telling you that with the alteration. I wouldn't care if medium hulls could only be destroyed with the alt equipped but since I already can with the 3000 damage, I don't see the real gain here apart from finishing off big fat campers with a single tap shot. I think the real decision comes from looking at the way someone uses his/her Shaft. You're absolutely right about the protection paints though; some headroom in terms of damage is always nice for that.

Ik vond Zeearend orgineler.

Ruining a gold mosh pit like a Swagnum

-
You're right; not blaming the guy at all. I do the same thing on my alt.
-
Well he was able to hit everyone so I think he used the power and fire angle pretty well. Defense around the flag was an XP-fest for me as an Isida though. Thanks, I miscalculated. The increase in charge up time is too much of a con for me. I always use mouse controls and can deal with the laser being put on an obstacle while viewing the passages for enemies.

Ah yeah, I am not so sure about heavy capacitors yet. I make use of my arcade shots too. The 30% max damage increase would mean a 3300 peak damage for my Shaft. Do you think the 300 damage increase is significant? I one-shot most of the medium hulls already.
-
Ik ook! Misschien ook Mammoth nog net naar M4 maar ik moet nog even afwachten hoever ik kom met 200K. Heb jij die nanobot alt ook trouwens?
-
I've no idea. My KD's are usually around 15 if I camp hard; this guy is doing cheap shots in a small map.
-
It was fun until this guy came along. Time to leave another Silence map. He had a K/D ratio of 40 or something.
-
Is that support nanobot alt worth it? What are your experiences?
-
Ik wacht op de MU's.

Ahh another topic about the mythical Tanki 2.0 project. The nostalgia hits me. I am still amazed how they managed to get those graphics on Flash Player. I played the demo back in 2013 when I still had my potato Toshiba laptop and it was stable at 30FPS.

Nice topic man, I find the cheaper prices of M4's really nice. The game has quite a bit of lures but if you're spending your crystals wisely you can reach your desired equipment faster than ever before. There are some strategic spendings here and there; for example Smoky and Titan M1 fully mu'd; that one will give you the power equivelant to a Colonel; indirectly saving you quite a bit of crystals. Patience is the key here. I also like how the Shop has expanded but hasn't affected much of balance between buyers and non-buyers. Lots of customization aswell. Much much more than when I started. I like the varierity of paints and the visual looks of XT's. The new animated paints are not my thing personally but it's cool seeing them around. NS battles are still there, that's great for those who're not into supplies and missions like me. It's great that they still have this feature after all what's been added to the regular way of playing. The friends system is one of the best features of this game too, it goes well in NS battles and the wide variety of maps.
