If you want an allrounder I wouldn't get an alteration in the first place. Alterations; particularly on Smoky, will limit you to a specific type of gameplay where the turret will excel but for the rest it's pretty underpowered. I always found Smoky kind of a misfit with the M2 alt. It relies more on knockback than critical damage. The slow reload is a serious con when I face enemies short but even medium distance. Personally I rarely use it; I lean more towards Thunder with that gamestyle. The M2 alteration makes up a support/assistant kind of gameplay where the player often uses coverage and picks out enemies at greater distances. The critical hit is doing massive damage and the enemies are often suprised. The fact that there's no trace from the Smoky shots means you can deal some serious damage without getting caught. I believe that comes close to what you described so I think the alt will suit you in the end.

You're right, I noticed this aswell. A little bit of splash damage here and there but you don't really make that much kills anymore. But wheehewh... when there are fewer protection paints on the battlefield; it is almost as overpowered as Magnum.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I did all of them and visited Parma 3 or 4 times. I indeed find it one of the most suitable maps but there are too much downsides on using Viking with Striker. The Shoes and Mammoths always get in the way. Basically 60% of the missiles slam right into team mates. The rocking thing is only useful when you're having enough space to do so, usually when facing an enemy 1v1. Most of the time the maps are just too busy. (team)noobs with drugs keep pushing you around; this is a thing with Shaft aswell. I believe Striker could be a good weapon in clan matches and NS battles. But no.. it is not a weapon for me; that is 217K of wasted crystals.

My mom used to say that sleep mode will burn down the house. So we had to turn off the TV and PC entirely after every session. Nowadays I usually leave my PC on the entire day and shut it down when I'm going to bed. Anyway, my two HDD's won't get any additional wear because they shut down after a minute or two when I don't acces files from them. I have an SSD in my PC which makes it boot up really quick, yet I am leaving the thing on all the time. Might be good or bad for the electronics; I have no idea, you tell me.. lol.

See this is where the game is heading towards now. You're right about the fact that the hard format takes skill; it absolutely does.. but it also takes drugs. You need drugs to get to the point of equality or whatever you want to call it. It's about canceling out eachothers supplies; aka gameplay for the rich. Esports hard format is the pure example of your average T.O. battle. The only real skill that people need in this game is being able to press 12345. I'd say that teamplay contributes 5 to 12% in the chance of winning the match.
