It's extortionate. And MK1.......... all for the extra low price of 7000tk. ANYONE falling for this is ......well you know Very sensible advice. Similar scenario happened when they brought out hammer. Gotta grift those buyers If it's OP it will only make it worse. I did watch Taspens have a go with it and truthfully, it looked useless. Anyone wanting to "WASTE" 7000tk on this is truly away with the mixer. And lets not forget it's only MK1 so a lot of crystals needed to upgrade fully and of course the protection module. Like i said

Nah. The new Legends, about 90% of them have flown through the ranks at such a pace that they just do not have the resources (crystals mainly) to upgrade nothing more than a couple of maxed out combos, and maybe a half dozen protections at best. I remember when around 10.000.000 crystals, maybe a tad more could max out an account. I would guess that number has now doubled. The system behind ranking is flawed, in so much as you gain far to much XP compared to crystals. The current set up does not do any favours to players who are at the lower ranks. Of course the developers know this, but they will not change the system to allow lower ranked players to progress more slowly in order to acquire enough crystals to upgrade at the next rank. Unless you are prepared to spend money, the average player will suffer greatly when reaching Legend rank-cannon fodder I believe is the term associated with most new Legends. The cannon fodder (CF) Legends are basically just making up the numbers. These CF Legends stand no chance against well established Legends who have had years, or money, or a combination of both to MAX out their account. The developers will never change this system of ranking, thinking that enough players will fall into the trap of buying their way out of being an underpowered joe player just making up the numbers, which of course they are, unless they spend cash. It's the player base that has empowered the developers to carry on with this simple, but very effective money maker. This is why, in my opinion the CF Legends will soon outnumber the old guard. The "old guard" has no need to spend cash anymore, having acquired everything they need to compete at a reasonable level. This is an ongoing combination of skill and having most, if not all of the top tier augments. This is the current state of the game and it does not look very appealing to most players. Not looking good for you CF players I'm afraid, not unless you dip into your bank balance. This so far is the worst time in the games history to be a new or low ranked player. New Legends, (90%) of them will remain in the CF ranks for a very, very, very long time, if not longer, and maybe even beyond that. -

He obviously didn't include the helicopters in his little statement. It's their sideways movement that is frustrating, just can't seem to get a bead on them. At the lower ranks maybe. At Legend rank you get destroyed just as quick as any other normal hull. Especially paladin. Pure legal hack. Nothing will ever "change much" under this current doctrine of ridiculous changes they keep bringing out. I had wrote a reasonably lengthy post about what was making the game rubbish, but a mod, without any reason to do so deleted it. In my opinion it was out of abject spite. So childish. -

I was drinking neat whiskey...........through a straw. @NikmanGT Refrain from what statement exactly. What part of my post needs refraining from???? Which means by your own words they are not touching the ground. When a helicopter is hovering would you also say that it is in flight-ie above the ground, whether it's by an inch or a hundred feet. Barely hovering or zero clearance, which one do you want to go with. Well there is no real money involved, just a couple of changes and maybe a smidgen of pride to whoever loses. Well I certainly am not bullying you or anyone else. A touch harsh don't you think. Gotta admit I found that funny. Who would have thought @Opex-Rah had a sense of humor. Although having said that --bots and flying skips-not funny.

@Opex-Rah I have a proposal for you, a CHALLENGE if you like. You and 5 other devs go up against 6 players who post regularly in the forum. The format. Normal battle conditions. One combo change allowed. Time duration-n/a CTF-First to cap 7 flags wins. Map-Serpuhov. Any combo you want, but only 2 flying hulls are allowed in both teams. Augments are allowed, but only 2 devs are allowed top tier ones, the rest are decent but not game changers. Goes without saying no enhancements are allowed-ie-God mode, Spectrum module etc. I would imagine that the players will all have maxed out accounts, so you will be allowed the same. The proposal. If the players win, then as a group they are allowed to change two things in the game that they collectively want to change, the majority vote seals the deal. These changes must stay in the game for at least one full year, regardless of what they are. If you win, then all the players must agree to have their maxed out accounts nerfed, ie all protections drop to 35%, or one of their drones is put back to zero, or their fav combo is nerfed to MK1, etc. This proposed scenario is definitely not "BORING" and I would imagine would have a very large player audience watching to see who triumphs. Win, win really for the game as a whole.

A rarity indeed. Can't see that ever happening. There will always be "stupid" in this game. But you can blame the person for bringing them into the game with the bare minimum of programming as though a half wit had done it. This unfortunately is now the norm. Players rely to heavily on augments. This has created a sub standard player base who can't engage in battle with any semblance of skill. Again this will continue to be the norm. Just goes to show how much the game has nose dived in recent years. From gimmicks to bots, to flying tanks, to a diminishing player base constantly replaced with bots and sub standard players. The game is now beyond any hope of changing for the better. They will milk it until it no longer becomes a viable option to sustain. The state of tanki online is dire and will not improve, but get consistently worse as the months go by. Again this has been the norm for a long time now. Just played a battle were the aimless bots got me killed three times and the enemy capped twice because of it. I think using the term "half wit" was probably being overly generous. -
The clan system is a waste of time, especially as you can only invite one term mate to a battle. Also what is the point of being in a clan, because I can't think of a single one. The ranking system has always been bad, players just didn't realise how bad until the developers made sweeping changes to the ranking process across the board. An example of these changes would be the inability to acquire any protections until Marshal rank, I think it's now general, i would have to check, but it's a very high rank before you can get protections, regardless which rank it might be between the two. You mean hull/turret combinations. The only thing concerning the actual hull/turret combinations would be the flying tanks, (hulls) that have infested gameplay and basically rule the cap battles like rugby and ctf. Unfortunately these hated hulls are probably here to stay. Containers have systematically being nerfed into the ground over the years. They mainly produce useless fillers like shot effects and paints. These useless fillers diminish in time but stay with a player well into Legend rank. All I can take from this is that you must not play often, so i do not understand the "grind" involved. Getting to WO1 would take me about a week with steady gameplay, and i never grind anything in this game. Unless you have an account from way, way back (when the very low ranks could actually acquire protections) then yes, your WO1 will indeed "feel like" a sergeant rank, because there really is no difference at all between these ranks as far as strength to your combination goes. With the exception of maybe maxing out brutus, or having more supplies, or getting extremely lucky with a container and getting a high end augment for a combination you actually use, the difference between the very low ranks is non existent. All the low ranks achieve (IF you are a new player) is get you used to how the game plays out in it's simplest rendition. Trying different combinations, using supplies, getting to know maps and their layouts, this is a learning curve all players must at some point have to be able to understand/learn and do without thinking. This of course is not factoring in the huge amounts of augments (per hull/turret) all the drones (which have been downsized in numbers) and the grenades (which have increased in numbers.) All of the above (except augments) takes a huge amounts of crystals to upgrade, and the supposed "powerful" high end drones drones take way more. For the lower ranks, i agree. This of course will never happen, which i will explain in my next and last quote to your post. Far from it. What you call "stupid" I call maximising the cash making ability of every single aspect of the game. It's only stupid if you realise this strategy they employ, and yet still continue to spend for the sake of vanity. It makes you feel good/special in battles, that is stupid. Of course the game wouldn't be what it is without a bit of "stupid" in the mix.
