Avast, WTF!

ok i need to know if anybody uses avast antivirus, cause i am having a PROBLEM with it i need to know if anybody uses it and has the same problem. ok i was playing at work yesterday, the pc at work has avast, i was playing, no problems at all, today here at home go to tanki home page press start, avast blocks tanki, this pop up comes up saying, "suspicious file blocked, avast web shield has blocked a harmful webpage or file. Object: http://tankionline.com/alternativaloader.swf?v=4 infection: SWf: Dropper [heur]" now, i try playing on another pc with avast, did the same thing! also i try playing with web shield turn off, tanki was able to load, i sighed in with my back up acc, everything was just fine, no problems, no sigh of hacking at all, so is avast out of nowhere ******ed now? :P

I dont have avast anymore but when i used to have it it would always do stupid stuff so yea i think its just a glitch

были проблемы с Авастом..и не только у меня...но это прошло....у Аваста работа такая....просто обновить страницу или зайти заново....вот и решение вопроса...

Hi leute ich hab was bemerkt zu erst.Warum ist nur auf deutsch server 1 enlogen möglich,da rüber hab nicht nach gedact das wir plötzlich so weniger sind.Am nästen tag habe ich fersucht mich ein zu logen aber da mein antivirsus hat die seite ab blokt weil es des gäfar ist.Dann hat es die seite geblokt und jetz kann ixh mich nicht einlogen.Udn ich glaube das es nicht nur mir gäht.Was muss ich machen?

I had this problem too (I'm using avast 7.0.1426). I've just cleared the cache of the browser I play Tanki with, and after that the antivirus didn't let me load the game. Here's the record in the log file:

Url      : http://tankionline.com/AlternativaLoader.swf?v=4
Severity : Medium
Status   : Threat: SWF:Dropper [Heur]
Action   : Blocked

 

The solution is rather simple: an exclusion in the settings has to be made. Here is how to do that:

Open the avast Control Panel, then under Real-time Shields select Web Shield. After that in right panel click on Expert Settings. This will open a new window. Click on the Exclusions tab, and under URLs to exclude type "http://tankionline.com/*" (without quotes). Click OK at the bottom, and the game should load without any problem.
