Find a solution to ban cheaters during real-time game play.

Some maps are completely invested by hackers.

 

BTW: Your stats missed ARMMAFIA a warrant officer 3... He just cheated for 4700 in Silence II while other players have 1/4 of those points.

 

I was going to pay with real money, for my first time, sometime this week, but now that'll have to wait :(

Hackers have been in my games more now. Like just yesterday i played in a game that got 2 hackers on the enemy team and 1 hacker on my team.

I have seen a hacker she/he actually landed on a building and when its guarding the flag in silence2 it got the enemy flag and chooses 111 crystals after battles :evil: goTanki get rid of cheaters :tank:

Well 3 things. Firstly as said in FAQ tanki online is developed by 'very talented people', so here's the solution to 'creating new account'. Instead of banning the nick/username ban the ip address (its not that hard, especially knowing that 'talented people' developed the game, I can do it for you if you give me an administrator pass). This will restrict hackers from creating new accounts after there original getting banned.

 

Secondly software you're using to determine hackers, is completely useless against hackers who hack to increase xp not crystals. This is because you determine players which have higher amount of crystals earned in comparison with there time played. However some hackers play to level up and don't get any crystals at all. Solution to this is simple: you need to check persons xp increase per minut/10 minutes played. if this exceeds x amount of xp you should assume they are hackers and ban them (I know this should take some bit of coding, especially if you are using C++, python or java, but this would help gradually).

 

Thirdly and finally I believe main threads (such as this one) are written in other languages as well as English. So please, for example if youre native Russian speaker don't come here and try and write in English, ending up with a puzzle to be figured out later on. Instead go to Russian version of the same thread. Same goes for other players from different backgrounds.

 

 

Please don't get me wrong and blame me for been racist or disrespectful. I don't mean to offend anyone, just suggesting the ideas to improve gameplay.

A dilemma with banning any IP address is if or when a users is utilizing a public access computer (like a library, university, cafe', etc.) when they don't have their own private computer.

I know, because that is what I used to do.

So then it depends on what percentage of users are playing this game on public access computers...

me too like others who have voiced their concerns about hackers will be patient and wait for 2 weeks. if i do not see at least 70% decrease in the number of cheaters (teleporters, invisibles, and w/e the **** form of cheats i see every day here) then im regrettably leaving this game for good because its no more fun and im sure if you guys cant stop it in 2 weeks then its only gonna get worse

That's no cheat but to know how to change your weapon without getting kicked out of the battle... and i hope it remains possible (though it sometimes fails anyway)
