Why 9 ranks? Why not about 15? After all, 95% of hackers are between Master Corporal - WO2; with anti-cheat stronger now than it has been, 15 ranks is surely good enough, as 99% of hackers get blocked before they reach Third Lieutenant.

I'm also for the broadening of ranks available to play in a game - I suggest ranks in range from third lieutenant up should be able to play together, at least because some of us have friends in the lower ranks and are unable to play with them anymore... and nobody should be limited like that, this is a social game.

no noobs wondering around as cannon fodders, helping nobody.

and no marshels jumping in and out and trashing the game.

 

this is a good thing.

 

private battles should be limitless, and - problem solved.

A real reason for the rank limit is to hinder power-leveling.

I'd say while the rule should be more lenient for private battles, it shouldn't be without restrictions.

 

Plus it's not end of the world-most of you must have sub-account(s) to play with your lower ranked friends.

Just imagine having home parties all the time until one of you is caught doing drugs and your parents ban the parties. It wouldn't have come to this if things went their way, this is one of the unavoidable necessary security measures that come at a time when they are needed the most. I asked for 9 ranks, not 15. A 3rd lieutenant wouldn't cheat and if he did cheat in a clan only battle, then moderators can see it and it would be found as power leveling.

 

As I said, the rank limits should remain to prevent super noobs form playing with super pro's. Only 2 ranks is all that is needed.
