I wouldn't say it is killer, but it is decent if you are good at the game. Hornet + Railgun would be better for faster sniping.

True but there are some maps where mosquito is capable of hiding better not to mention the smaller size, just not as much health.

Railgun and Wasp combinations often flip over, especially when firing with the turret pointing sidewards.
