@Bruce: Surely there needs to be a limit on the amount of battles a country can face in a week? Say, 3? Otherwise, teams can agree to attack one country, and they'd be force to play 10 games a week. They'd have no way to prepare for all of them and would be finished easily. A few teams working together could then win the whole contest very quickly, and then turn on each other.

 

 

Read the rules. The country that wins all factories, that is 105 (rest of world) + 5 (their own) wins. Why would a weaker country bet all say; 2, 3 or 5 factories. Everyone will play safe and bet no more than 1 factory. So according to that assumption (betting 1 factory per game), to win the tournament a country has to play MINIMUM 105 games.

 

No, no, the team that beats another team does not get their factories. And a team does not have to destroy every factory either. Let me give you a simple example:

 

Four teams: India, China, Australia, and Russia.

 

Round one: India beat China, Australia beat Russia. India and Australia have 5 remaining, Russia and China have 4.

Round two: India beat Australia, China beat Russia. India has 5. Australia and China have 4. Russia has 3.

Round three: China beat Australia, India beat Russia. India has 5, Australia has 3, Russia has 2, China has 4.

Round four: China beat India, Australia beat Russia. India has 4, China has 4, Australia has 3, Russia has 1.

Round five: Australia beat India, China beat Russia. India has 3, China 4, Australia 3, Russia is out.

Round six: China beat Australia. I 3, C 4, A 2.

Round seven: China beat India. I 2, C 4, A 2

Round eight: Australia beat India. I 1, C 4, A 2.

Round nine: China beat Australia, C4, I 1, A 1

Round ten India beat China, C3, I1, A1

Round eleven: Australia beat India, C3, A1, I0

Round twelve: China beat Australia, China wins.

 

You see? China didn't gain any factories from other people, and only played 10 games, not 20.

I think that the rules should be clarified a little:

 

"During that particular week, all teams have to play their challengers before the next Monday."

 

Challenger(s) make's it seem like you can be challenged by more than one team per week.

 

After re-reading all of the rules, it is clear that there will be 2 matches per week for each country team: one as a challenger, one as challenged.

 

However, if you are challenged by more than one team - how is the challenger chosen? First challenger always, or whichever the challenged team chooses?

That means a country has possibility of increasing its factories by winning the bet as mentioned in:

 

-Every country is obliged to challenge and make a bet and to take up all challenges without denial. The winner takes the whole bet.

 

The winner will win the WHOLE BET and hence, can increase its factories.

I don't think its a good idea to allow drugs in tournament... the winner in such battle is the one that has more drugs and not the one that has better skills...

Guys.... My country is in the Indian Ocean(Near Sri-lanka, search Maldives if you want to know where it is ) Is it allowed for me to join the Indian team,because i am really willing to take part,since i couldn't participate in any competition. Hope I get an answer soon.

And tons of crystals will be distributed to these highest-ranking players, which will only increase the gap between these players and the rest of us...
