Zeus, according to Greek mythology, is the "King of the Skies" and "King of the Olympians." There was also a Titan named Prometheus, who gave humankind the knowledge of fire. Zeus did not approve of this and punished Prometheus of this act. Even to this day, Zeus does not like mankind's knowledge of fire. Once this paint was made and was named after him, Zeus immediately set out to do something about it. He realized that this may become a leverage for Prometheus. The Gods are very dependent on human culture, and Prometheus may set out revenge. Anything in the human world that is named after the Gods means, both the object and the god is linked. Zeus wanted to make this paint "Prometheus Proof" but also he did not want to affect the human culture too much. Therefore, before this paint was released to the public, Zeus influenced many of the employees that were designing this paint to add many heatproof substances such as aerogel. This may be why Zeus is very effective against Ricochet as Ricochet is considered to be shooting out fireballs which of course, is made out of fire. Also effective against Firebird as that weapon shoots out pure fire. However, why Zeus is very effective against nano robots may be a mystery to us all.



Zeus, very effective against Ricochets, as its 40% against them allows a M3 Viking to survive a full tank of M3 Ricochets head on, however Spark having a 30% against Rico and also having protection against Thunders and Railguns causes many players get Spark instead of Zeus. Zeus however, has 35% against Isidas where spark doesn't. When you are an Isida yourself, the enemy will only be inflicting around 3 damage per second. Also its 35% Isida will allow M3 vikings to survive with enough health to fight back rather than being on very low on health when you don't have that 35%. M3 Hornets can also, survive a full tank of M3 Isida. Zeus has a 30% protection against Firebird, many people think this is useless as by the time most players have Zeus, they are at a high level of play, where Firebirds appear very rarely. Zeus, perhaps the most popular paint out of all the 15k crystal paints. As many of the other paints only protect against one Tier 2 gun and the rest are Tier 1 guns where they don't appear frequently enough to be considered "effective." However, Isidas appear frequently throughout the game on almost all the maps, making Zeus more attractive to buy.

Zeus is a paint where the backround is blue and has stripes of lighting going vertically down. This leads many Tanki players to believe that Zeus may be the second generation of Electra. As Electra also has lighting like lines going across vertically and Electra also has a similar Isida protection.

-The Real Zeus-

Zeus was the youngest born from Kronos/Cronus and Rhea. Zeus has two brothers: Poseidon, God of the sea's and horses, and Hades the God of the Underworld. Before Zeus was born, Cronus ate Poseidon and Hades in fear that they might take his place as King of the Earth. Zeus however escaped from the clutches of Cronus. Where then Zeus hid in a cave on Mount Ida in Crete. However on how he was raised has many variations which I am going to skip. If you would like to know, there is a link at the bottom.
When Zeus grew up to adulthood, he overthrew Cronus in a complicated series of events. After doing so, he claimed the Earth and shared it with his brothers.
