I have a idea for a new paint:

this paint looks like a dark version of spark

price: 12 000 crystals

protection:

shaft 30%

railgun 15%

thunder 20%

ricochet 10%

what do you think of this?

What is this, you don't think asking nicely will make it happen do ya?

If anyone really wanted anything I bet they could pay tanki a lotta cash and get it permanently.

And I do mean a lot.

Yeah, it misses only 50% freeze :XD:

Come on, a paint like this would cost 20k and everyone would use it... Don't be ridiculous, this would cancel the "what is the best long-range skin" conflict.

1,000,000,000 crystals. NO DC card use either.

To the OP, you have a point but your paint has major flaws. You obviously haven't studied the patterns that each paint follows. A paint like this SHOULD exist. But it has a value of at least 20,000 crystals.

Let me explain. Each paint belongs to a group, or as we can call it a "tier"

There are tier one, tier two, tier three paints and so on. There are more paint tiers than weapon and tank tiers.

As some people have noticed, the beginning tiers are all a bit off-pattern. This includes most paints under 10k crystals.

The tiers are as follows

Non-protection series

Tier 1 (Basic free (0 crys)): Holiday

Tier 2 (Basic colours, yes I do realize green is free (5 crys)): Green, red, blue

Tier 3 (White/black series (10 crys)): White, black

Tier 4 (Newbie appearance series (50 crys)): Orange, flora, in love

Tier 5 (Less newbie appearance series (100 crys)): Metallic, lava, forester

Tier 6 (Camo series (200 crys)): Marine, savana, urban, desert

Tier 7 (Professional appearance (2000 crys)): Mary, hohloma, swash

Protective series

Tier 1 (Tier 1 protection (500 crys)) Dirty (firebird 15), swamp (twins 15), carbon (smoky 10) - As you see in this series each paint has protection from each of the tier one weapons, and providing a higher percentage from the more DPS weapons

Tier 2 (Tier 1 balanced (1000 crys)): Winter, safari, alien - no distinctive pattern

Tier 3 (Tier 1 + 1.5 random (3000 crys)): dragon, tundra, roger - no distinctive pattern

Tier 4 (Tier 1 + 1.5 + 2 random apperance (8000 crys)): digital, leopard, electra - most players prefer these paints for apperance, no distinctive pattern

Tier 5 (Tier 2 fair protection (5000 crys)): loam, storm, corrosion - these paints have a pattern. Each paint is designed to provide a decent protection from one of the tier 2 weapons, and less protection from a second tier 2 weapon to create balance. These paints do not have a version for shaft.

Tier 6 (Tier 2 random (7000)): cedar, lead, sandstone, taiga - this set contains one paint from each tier 2 weapon but he percentages are rather random. They have additional protection from other lower class weapons. Lead is the only paint that is very similar to the tier 5 paints, but it contains much more protection than it should and costs more.

Tier 7 (Tier 2 balanced (10000)): prodigy, irbis, clay, needle, rock - this set follows the same pattern as tier 5 but these paints have higher protection and different weapon combinations.

Tier 8 (Tier 2 balanced (reversed) (12000)): rustle, spark, python - these paints also follow the same pattern as tier 5. These paints are essentially the same as clay, needle and rock but reversed. (Not all paints are perfectly reversed) as an example, spark is the opposite of needle where as needle protects mainly from thunder and a little from rico, spark protects mainly form rico and a little from thunder

Tier 9 (Tier 2 extreme (15000)): zues, emerald, inferno, jade - these paints only protect from ONE tier 2 weapon each, but provide the highest protection from that specific weapon in the game.

Conclusion.

In order to follow the pattern and create a new paint, there would have to be a full tier of 4 paints each following the pattern seen in tier 5,7,8. This means the paint would need to have a main focus weapon and a sub weapon. Since we want the paint to be better than the old ones, it will cost around 18k-20k and protection will look something like this.

Thunder: 35%

Freeze: 15%

Shaft 15%

Freeze: 45%

Ricochet: 15%

Thunder: 15%

Ricochet: 35%

Freeze: 15%

Shaft: 15%

Shaft: 40%

Thunder 15%

Ricochet 15%

As you see here, we created a new pattern. Unlike before, now we have 2 sub weapons and their percent are higher by 5%. To balance it off, we removed any protection from lower class weapons. The main weapon % remains the same as in the tier 7 paints but with an extra 5%. These paints would have a 25,000 crystal value.

Since we just created a brand new and completely over powered balanced set, to make the game fair we need to also make a new extreme set.

This means we need to make another version of the tier 9 sets but with 10 extra percent.

Thunder 50%

Freeze 60%

Ricochet 50%

Shaft 55%

In the above four sets, we have removed absolutely all additional protection. Now these paints protect only from one weapon. This is to keep it balanced, and anyways, if you can afford a paint like this, why would you play with noobs?

Speaking of price, the tier 11 extreme set will have a 30,000 value at the minimum. Why is it so over priced? look at the protections and see for yourself. This is also to keep people buying the 12k and 15k sets because if the difference in price is too small, everyone will have a tier 10 or 11 set and completely forget about the others. We want variety!

And at this point the game becomes pay2win, but who cares.

P.S. hope you liked this information and prediction on stronger paints. And please no TL;DR it took me so much time to write this.

Well, this paint is crazy overpowered. Having players with a variety of paints adds more strategy to the game and won't unbalance the game, but this one paint will do it. The only reason you want this paint is because it is really overpowered. Before posting ideas like this, I would take a look at what is already on Tanki, and then post away.

12000 is cheap (for me at least) should be like emerald plus if its darker version of spark why not change spark instead?
