Group forming(Only English Speakers)

I have been playing tanki online for the last six months and one thing which is terribly missing is the communication. SO, i have decided to take the initiative and lets form a group of players who know English. We can go in matches together, we can plan those things later, but for now please come up and form a group of English speakers.

 

We can decide a server Where all the English speakers can log in and play matches

It sounds like a good idea, sort of. But even though many tankers speak russian, there would be a big group of english speakers too. The group would be still very large, and that's why they created a section of the forum in English and created clans.

But this group can act as a launchpad for the english speakers to play as a team in a particular CTF or TDM match and there is no rank restriction.

I currently have this under consideration, As the English community ins't that huge it would be nice to give them a place to chat.

The easiest solution is a xat chat at the moment unless someone know how to set up an IRC.

I like this idea. In actually fact i was going to make a a suggestion like this.

 

 

I don't understand why some people are so negative about ideas that are actually good. Maybe similar ideas didn't work in the past but new people with different attitudes start playing the game every day. What works with one set of people might not work with a different set of people and vica versa.

You know, I do get tired of joining battles and there's like a 1/20 chance I'll meet another English speaker. This is actually a good idea :)

You often find fellow English speakers on server 2. And the Tanki Radio is a very good place to communicate with other English players for a game.

Its a good idea worth implementing :thumbup:

I would suggest a skype chat, with rules where those who break them are kicked out or punished.

The group has to be organised in such a way that they take turns to browse through the servers looking for high fund battles and then call the rest to help.

The chat admin has to have moderators who will remove all bad language and irrelevant flooding from the chat. (Talking from experience, I have seen some terrible chats.)

If the chat could be like this I would also join in to have fun with you guys.

Cool, maybe we should make a server eng only and german only and rus only. if urlanguage is not english, u cant enter server eng what do u guys think?

I hope that this doesn't become just another thread. We must come to a conclusion and Implement it.

 

A separate English server will help a lot. Especially for the new English recruits who won't understand the other language.

 

At least it can be tested.

 

A temporary solution is the Naming convention Where we decide a standard name for the English language battles, let's say if we are creating Silence 2 CTF, we can prefix with "ENG" or "ENGLISH". SO the battle name becomes "English Silence CTF" and to make the things more clear we can unofficialy announce a server where such kind of battles can be created, for example :- Server 2.
