Wow! This is a great idea.

 

Pity that it either does not work or moderators are ignoring it.

 

Hacking is WORSE THAN EVER!

 

50% of players must report the hackers!!!! Pfftf - they simply change the hacker within seconds with another 'ghost' hack account (which incidentally - mods can't touch).

And remember - in most games 50% of players ARE hackers.

 

This is a complete and utter pretense at combating the endemic TANKI hacker issue.

When you use the vote command to send directly to the hacker and the hacker is a non-existent ghost account (the account does not exist - as is usual in 75% of cases)...

 

a) Where does your 'complaint' go?

b) What can moderators do about it - the account isn't even there?

Hope this also works for cheaters, today i saw one called (exactly) "28059491584876661232", i reported him several times, but no one else did, i would like that in a special manner you could report HACKERS (specificly) and with ONE (or two....) reports he would be kicked an banned :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Make it an even smaller percent!

Don't keep it as a command, make it a button!

At the very least don't make it case sensitive!

 

All complaints aside, if this does start working it'll be awesome! :D I'm sure you devs are busy fine tuning the feature as we speak.

It is a very nice idea,but I agree that a button should exist instead of a command

the button should list all the players in the battle so we can choose the hacker. (some of their names are almost impossible to write.)

This feature would be cool.... IF IT WORKED AT ALL!

 

I've encountered 4 hackers since it was implemented, about one for every other battle I've been in. Each time, i've tried to get people to use it, typing ./vote hackerplayer into chat many times. IT HAS NEVER WORKED. I have lost at least 100 crystals due to hackers in those instances (and have only gained about 75 otherwise). Most recently, I lost 60+ crystals after leading the field in points for an hour. When the hacker came, I kept typing ./vote fahap21 into the chat, but I got muted for flood and could only watch as this dude stole hundreds of points in minutes.

 

I'm seriously considering quitting Tanki forever, since there is absolutely no skill involved anymore: it's just all luck in avoiding the hackers. I think many of you guys miss the problem because hackers aren't as prevalent on higher level battles (as I found out on my second account). But for lower level players, hackers are as big a threat as the other team.

 

I really hope the devs solve this, what is (in my mind) by far the biggest problem for Tanki right now. It's not the progress toward new versions of the game, it's not maintaining the player base, and it's not putting more events in. It's the friggen hackers.
