Scoring in CTF

I have seen this happen to others and has happened to me.

 

You have the enemy flag, you go to your own flag mount, run over it to score and you can't drop the flag! :( You run over the flag mount a dozen times and it won't drop. Then the enemy comes to capture your team flag, you get shot, loose the flag and no score.

 

Sometimes it's hard enough just to get to the enemy territory. But when you finally capture the flag, against all odds, barely make it back to your own and you can't score :?: That's just NUTS :!:

If your flag is not in its 'mount', you cannot capture it.You have to return it first.

It happened to me. Specially after a very pronounced lag, i can't pick boxes or capture flags. Just pass the flag to a teammate, you lose the points, but at least your team advance.

sounds like you have got a lag issue if your flag was at its post, otherwise like FBI said: you can't post a flag if your flag isn't there. next time it happens pass the flag to a teammate then refresh the browser.
