The higher positioning of the turret on the tank's frame allows the "plasma balls" to go above your allies while still hitting your enemies. Thus removing the annoying twins paradox.

I knew there was a benefit from dictator!

You can also reach higher places with your shaft scope, while if you are with viking you would be seeing only the wall through your scope. (ex. - Fort Knox 2/3 you CAN'T peek through the second floor of the castle with anything shorter then dictator/mammoth)
