I know this is not the place to post this, but the way i see it, more people read the genral more than off-topic posts.....

First of all i say rest in peace to all who died that day...

Now to the point...

Want to see something horrifying?

Open microsoft word, then type in Q33 NY in BLOCK letters.[that is the flight name of the first plane which hit the world trade center.....]

After that drag the text and make it to size 48

Now, change thw whole font to Wingdings

Rip to to those who died

I have respect' date=' but everyone has, do we have to show that every year again ...?[/quote']

screw you you dont deserve to be here. get out.

Don't say that! nuclearbom has a point. We could spend all day, every day saying RIP, because people die every day, have died every day and will die every day. (During war, accidents, terrorist attacks etc.)

I'm not saying 9/11 wasn't a terrible day!

Hundred thousands, if not millions of innocent civilians died in the bombings of Japan.

Alot more died during the Holocaust...

~3000 died in the 9/11 event, but America gets enraged after the events?

Err...not trying to be negative on here but...umm...the logic behind this thing is flawed...I just dont get why in America people die and then it's a national tragedy, while other countries just move on after a while...

According to multiple world powers, more people would have ultimately died in the second World War, if the bomb was not dropped, and the fighting continued. That was the state of mind for the United States. It is a fact.

How does that justify the death(murder?) of 150,000+ innocent human beings that had no way of fighting back? :)

R.I.P. to the 9/11 victims.

Two wrongs don't make a right!! Nuclear bombs should never have been invented, let alone be dropped...

Fact is, the US still owns these nuclear bombs, attacking other nations with only the slightest suspicion of having them too.

I have one word for that. HYPOCRISY!

If you realy want a better world you need to start with yourself.

Peace :D

The US has missiles pointed everywhere and lots of other people have missiles pointed at the US. If any missiles were to be fired, WWIII would most likely start and there would be little to no survivors. Nuclear bombs are a terrible thing. There was no way around inventing it. If the US had not dropped one on Japan the Germans would have hit the US with one. The Germans had a project very similar to the US in creating the bomb. No one wanted it. It just simply had to be done.

So why hit Japan when your fight is with Germany? The logic is flawed.

This is going off-topic really fast.

The fight was with Germany and its allies. Japan was one of them. (And also the last of them to surrender.)

Then why are you not stopping it from going off-topic? Your question seems to be coaxing the conversation into more off-topicness. :P

Nice try, but your propaganda has no effect on me. Fact is, that the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki took place months after the war in Europe ended.
