Since the last major update I cannot play any games other than sandbox. I love this game and have tried everything. I have spent $30.00 on the gaming compurter trying to make it faster doesn't help :( Now that computer is being upgraded and tweeked to improve performance. Hopefully it will work. I cannot see the soft particles so it is ok then right? Also it was suggested to use hardware acceleration -- should I? If yes where can i locate directions to do that? I ask because I used the search device for forum and got no answers. Thanks Guys ::))

Um.....I can't even see "soft particles" check box in settings.....

its because you don't have hardware accel. if you turn on hardware accel, it makes it faster, and it shows up .

hardware acceleration . to activate, right click. than go to the first box. turn on hardware acceleration. to make the game faster, go to the box with a folder. make it unlimited memory.

I turned everything off (Dynamic shadows, mip-mapping, fog, and soft particles, shadows etc.)

my FPS returned to the normal 60 fps ;)

Still want an alienware computer for stuff though...120+ fps in most games :/

Hardware acceleration

I think it is configurations of your pc. go desktop / right click mouse / properties / configurations /advanced / problem solutions and move the controls ( hardware acceleration )

To use less , if you dont want lag in tanki online. Don´t use max.

A guy teached it in a topic here in our forum

I use windows XP serve pack 3.

Firefox 7.0.1

I dont see those options ' soft particles '

I can play normal , but I get low FPS.

But in Polygon, If I use full screen , I get very low FPS and lag´s; sometimes my browser crashes.

I dont like play in normal screen.

It´s better in full screen!

I put this way :
