There's nothing wrong with Dictator, nor Mammoth. I used Mammoth tons of times in CTF. It's suitble for anything. Dictator looks fine. And I've seen many pros use it. And wow, you're a Staff Seargent? Telling a Warrant Officer 5 what to use? Please.

 

Also, Dictator has some advantages, because it's a higher tank. Like, you can catch air drops before the one next to you, and (eg. in Sandbox) you can hit players on the higher part more easily.

I use Dictator and Isida on my second account, works pretty good.

About Mammoth, don't upgrade that one until you have at least an M3/M3 combo. Now you can still use it for camping.

here is my advice.

pick your favorite weapon. look at the extra damage you get if you upgrade.

play some battles and while playing ask your self "would i have benefitted much from that extra damage?"

if you do then go for that.

if not look at you other options and repeat.

no one here can tell you what you need because we don't know your method of playing.

we can only tell you the pros and cons which there are plenty of well writtain guides for (just do a google search)

I like hornet+thunder. other people tell me it is rubbish yet i can get 1.50 - 4.00 D/L pretty easy and its fast and fun.

No, it is better to deal more damage than to take less damage.

The reasoning behind this is; say, a Dictator M3 / Thunder M1 faces off against a Dictator M2 / Thunder M2...who is more likely to win?

Thunder M2 deals far more damage per second than Thunder M1, and although the Dictator M3 has more life, it would quickly crumble under the Thunder fire.

 

This applies to any decision you make on gun vs tank...which combination would win in a fight against each other?

I agree with SilentShadow.. If you use Thunder you can always hide behind a wall and only come out when you shoot, so your tank won't be exposed to much fire, if you play it well.

Viking is better then dictator.

The only reason why dictator is cheaper is because your M3 version is ± the same as an M2 viking.

viking can be pushed to higher limits, dictator just doesn´t.
