I personally feel that revealing the rank of the forum users is going to be a big mistake.

People will be afraid to post anything out of fear that their opinion will not be as valued as that of someone of higher rank.

 

They will be humiliated, harassed, harangued, browbeaten, slammed, punked out, abused, scorned, slapped around, dumped on, heckled, jeered,

scoffed, insulted, derided, and in general laughed at by everyone of higher ranks.

I think its a good update, Its nice to see what ranks people are, and I doubt any there is going to be any MORE people being insulted because of there rank, it was done before this came out.

Eh, I don't know. I find it too easy to judge people based on their rank now (ie. not looking at threads started by super low ranking players). It's especially silly because the only real difference between the WO ranks and marshall is the amount of xp grinding. You can have an equally good understanding of the game at both levels.

Lower ranks can know asmuch about the game(sometimes even more), but they often know less...overall, the higher ranks will have played for longer, and be more skilled, and know more about the game, and the opposite is true for low ranks, OVERALL.

What if: an experienced player's main account was banned and he/she is forced to use a nooby account, and he makes a topic that contains secret information which could earn you thousands of crystals in tanki, *take a deep breath*

but no-one reads it because of the low rank so everyone misses out on a chance to get rich ! :D *mind blown*
