Yea it's been better for me too, although I still see the rare person juttering about and teleporting from one spot to the other, its fine. ( as least no more server disconnections and waiting another 2 mins for it to load back up)

It is in due part to the developers that my crystal count has been steadily increasing over the past few days.

 

They deserve, plenty of more thanks, because now the game is play-able!

This is an outstanding work on their part!

i know i used to get lags where everyone's tank used to spin like every 5mins on chrome but yesterday i played over an 1hr game without any spinning tanks!!! well done!

Thanks for finally delivering what I started with again... yes it is possible to play tanki again for me (unless they shut it down most of the time to fix bugs ;) ).

I wouldnt go for adjectives like said here but... "Right approach, finish what you started yesterday and you did finally a good job!"

Works great! No issues except for an occasional pause. Most importantly, never needed a reload!

 

Gotta say, ping/traceroute times to tankionline.com and c5.tankionline.com are same as before, no worse or better. This tells me the lag problems of the past were deficiencies in how the software was architected. Great job fixing backend code! Some developers over there need a bonus check. :-)

if it was actually the developers fault then please tell me why they were blaming our PCs and ISPs for the past two years now.

 

i want compensation for all the crystals lost because of lags and spinning tanks. sure, the server actually works now, good job. but there is NO JUSTICE here.

im sure most of us here would agree that there was a huge amount of crystals lost to the lags. give at least a percentage back to those who lost it thanks to YOUR faulty servers.

 

otherwise, i'm gone.

I have to agree that the developers have really excelled in this update. Its a joyful feeling to play in a battle and be able to finish it without having to press the F5 button. Outstanding work, those developers who worked on this one need a pay rise - Tanki, excellent excellent work. :)

Yesterday I played 4-5 games in maps of varying size and complexity. I experienced categorically no lag! None! Outstanding!

They're not 100% finished yet, if you still get some lag then report it.

 

 

The game is nice now, there is some jittery tanks once in awhile but it's a lot better then lagging and being kicked.

I remember a few months ago when we complain lag, blame the Internet was slow, browser cache, turn on / off shadow, etc.. They tried to push the blame on the players.

 

For comments I now see where the problem was: into Server, kkkkkk

You are correct, not 100% yet. So let's not celebrate or mourn.

 

But I see a future not very promising because it will increase the limit of 3k to 5k players. Bad news.

Excellent work Devs!

 

Seems weird cos I don't see a lot of people expressing gratitude to TO for making the game better.

I'd read a player threatening TO for lags, for the RB, and even saying "...expect a law suit.."

Funny.... I don't see those guys expressing their gratitude here.....they are in the game chat however...

I have to take all back... it seems to be back like it used to be before 121... NOT a good job devs... keep working and fix this for once or go home and close this game for good
