I like to think who they intend this game to be for. 5 year olds? Just about everywhere I've been there has been zero ZERO punishment for swearing and insult. And I find it funny that the administration thinks a swear is worth a 7 day ban, and now they are making it worse? Terrible. And if they think it will lower offence, I am sorry to say it will not, just like it never prevented anything in the past, but only provided cruel punishments, to people who will only make an offence again as soon as they are unbanned.

Agreed,but, if someone swears and gets like a 5 minute ban, when said person comes back they will most likely swear again, I dont want to see that crap, and I only block people that annoy me and do it for a long time.

Yes, this will not change much. It will just get more players banned, resulting in more players getting angry and more players quitting.

 

This forum is for 16+, why not make the game itself for 16+ as well instead of being 6+.

Also, banning for immature flooding of cursing is good. But not all swearing is immature, sometimes it's appropriate for the situation.

My coach once told me that a person that swears alot generally has a low intellectual level and does not have a wide range of vocabulary, in other words they are not very bright.

Perhaps it is a message, to stop swearing, and try to find other nicer ways to say your statements :)

 

Of course, those who disagree with the new enforcement of rules, must happen to be those who were often found breaking these rules, so they fear for the new punishment.

That is simply my own speculation, merely, but what have you against it?

 

This is a wise move of the developers, it makes for a friendlier game atmosphere, it serves to remove players who wish to cruelize the chats in the game.

 

What needs to be done now is a detector for profanity in battles, often I find myself insulted every day by angry persons of all nationality! :blink:
