i have been using smoky for 1 whole month and earlier today i switched back to thunder and i think... thunder is no longer that fun to play with.. is it only me?

i had to switch back to smoky after 1 battle. thunder is no longer THE gun for me, i think :(

Yes you get used to a new gun, Personally I think Smoky is better than thunder because of the "After Shock" :D And It Immediately leaves your Enemy close to Zero life and Gives you the advantage to kill them...

(I Like to use Smoky but not when people use it on me Lol :D)

There is no "better than the other"-turret. The only way for a certain turret to become "better" than the other, is if you master it's play type.

The op was not asking for advice, merely asking a question. Reminder: This is a game that people play to relax, switch off or have fun. There is nothing "man"ly about playing this game flower! Clint Eastwood would have been a better choice given the op's name. B)

Smoky is harder to aim, I suppose it makes it more of a challenge. After a while of using it you will get good at it and you get those surprise critical hits! ;)

In my opinion, if you switch a weapon, you get attached to the new one, if you play with it for a couple of weeks.

Dude i used to like freeze, and i thought isida was stupid, but now,isida is awesome for me and i have m1 isida.

Recently when the update 124 occured, i bought the firebird and upgraded it. I started hating it and thought it was a waste of crystals. I started using it a lot and started to like it. Then i tried to switch back to isida and could not. Isida seemed boring compared to the afterburn effect of the fire bird. I forced my self and now i am back to isida.

Just keep on working the weapon you think is the best for you. No weapon is better than the other.

i get what u mean but i prefer smoky over thunder however thunder is superb on drugs when u go on rampage :D

I had the exact same thing, thunder isn't much fun to play with anymore because I've used it my entire time on this game.

Now smoky is my favorite, I've been using it since the 50% discount on smoky.

 

I've been using thunder for 3 days or so, and I must say; it's really boring... thunder doesn't have that cool critical hit like smoky does and it shoots slower.

not even considering the massive amounts of thunder protection paints on the battlefield.

Thunder has more damage per second as smoky, but those paints are really frustrating.

Sorry, but I can't say I agree with you.I'd been playing Thunder since Major rank until Marshall b4 the RB. Ever since then, Thunder is no more THE gun. It's true because almost everyone has Thunder resist paint.It is still good for mid range but at long range its hopeless because of the damage caused is reduced considerably and without the Crit the Smokey has.

I also noticed quite a number of mid rank players use the Thunder as their main weapon, but for me although I did bought the Thunder gun, I regret it, I should have bought Twins instead.

For long range, I would say Rail is the best, short to mid would be Twins, with all rounder to be Smokey.

But then again, that is my opinion, my style of playing, technique and tactics.

Most important is,when you go into a battle, look at what guns and paints other players are using, if you had a wrong combi on, get out immediately change and go back in with the best that you have in your garage.
