Short Range Defense.

A positive aspect of the rebalance was that every single gun had a good chance of being successful on the battle field. Some are even feared, and those guns that are feared are the short range weapons (Isida, Firebird, Freeze, etc). Which paint do you find most successful in most of your battles (especially against short range weapons)? Loam looks like a wise choice as it is great against firebird. What do you think?

Inferno looks good. And I know you said short-range. But Cedar does really well for me.

So far, the most effective defense I've found against the short range weapons is staying outside their range. Can't hit you if they can't reach you.

+1 to the post above. I find Cedar works very well, because I do less damage to myself when attacking Freezes or whatever.

Yep cedar is the paint b4 rank major to get rustle. I'm just saving up for emerald thou so I'm sticking with cedar. Using my twins or rico m2 to hold bak hornet freezes or isidas is also effective
