Most kills but lowest score

Hi, could anyone explain how in a TDM I had the highest kills but the lowest score ? All the way through the battle I kept checking the score and although I was killing more than my team mates, I was at the bottom as far as points are concerned.

 

I was the one who spent most time in the enemy zone (thought that might count for something but it seems not).

 

 

All 3 of our team were the same rank, and there were no Isidas.

 

Update - I just re-entered the same Sandal TDM with the same team and got 19 kills. The next guy in my team got 13 kills and he beat me on the final points score :(

if the game is capturing flags then you get more points if you capture a flag or return a flag.otherwise the person with most kills should have the most points(you said there was no isida)

Even though you had the most kills, the winner is the one who does the most damage overall.

Thanks for all the replies. I do agree that the points awarded should reflect the damage that a player inflicts on the enemy. I was using M0 Thunder which meant some of the enemy tanks needed 4 hits to kill - in other words I was definitely doing a fair bit of damage rather than taking them out with one shot.

 

This raises the question - how to be top scorer in TDM battles ? The answer seems to be inflict lots of damage on the opponents without killing them !

Don't try to steal kills. If you see someone just attack them. Stealing kills doesn't help your score. You can have 0 kills, but have the highest score, ONLY in TDM.
